The siege of London: inside the gates — 25 Comments

  1. Britain has been surrendering to the Islamist horde for quite some time. The systematic rapes of young girls in various towns (Rotherham, others) by “Asian” males, that is, Pakistani Muslim thugs, was ignored by police for years for fear of being called racist.

  2. Britain could address its problems. Four successive British prime ministers have refused to do so. (The Labour ministries made the problems worse).

  3. Crickets ask where is our “conservative” voice from Britain who had so much negative to say about The Great Orange Whale and the threat of the Dread MAGA?

That the police have been emasculated by Islamists and anti-Semited is just a follow up to harassment and persecution of those who don’t toe the party line on tyranny issues. How long before police begin enforcement of dhimini rules?

    Rue Brittania.

  4. We use to take drive vacations all over the UK, but no more. Age and Muslims have put paid to that.

  5. The Camp of the Saints was prophetic; and the prophecy is coming true. So much so that one might well imagine that Muslims are using the novel as a blueprint.

The Muslim takeover of Europe and the illegal alien invasion of America are, for me, the two most important issues of our time. I believe it is only through violent conflict that these problems can be solved.

  6. It’s comical to watch the behavior of an enervated people convinced that those who attack them have rights to life and freedom of action which they themselves do not have.

  7. I was absolutely horrified by the Rotherham rapes, and the rapes and sex-trafficking in other British towns – because the police basically looked the other way because of fears of being called racists, and because many of the victimized girls were working-class, or poor, or otherwise from seriously dysfunctional families. The coppers just couldn’t be bothered in other words.
On the other hand, the police, media, intellectuals and prosecutors have come out swinging against those white Britons who object to the takeover by Moslems, or who are still religious. I honestly believe the native Britons are losing their country – they’re retreating to the countryside, and trying to pretend that everything is OK … but it’s not. And I’m terribly saddened by this, because I’m of English ancestry. Three of my grandparents immigrated from England and Northern Ireland early in the last century. They’d all be horrified at what has become of the places they came from all those years ago.
My daughter wants to do a river cruise – the Danube or the Rhine in ten years, when she has made a bundle as a real estate agent. I’m voting for the Danube and Eastern Europe. I’m pretty well certain that unless things radically change, there won’t be a recognizable western Europe by then.

  8. Some relevant history

In the late 1930s, Winston Churchill spoke of the “unendurable..sense of our country falling into the power, into the orbit and influence of Nazi Germany, and of our existence becoming dependent upon their good will or pleasure…In a very few years, perhaps in a very few months, we shall be confronted with demands” which “may affect the surrender of territory or the surrender of liberty.” A “policy of submission” would entail “restrictions” upon freedom of speech and the press. “Indeed, I hear it said sometimes now that we cannot allow the Nazi system of dictatorship to be criticized by ordinary, common English politicians.” (excerpt is from The Last Lion: Alone, by William Manchester.)

Churchill’s concern was not just a theoretical one. Following the German takeover of Czechoslovakia, photographs were available showing the plight of Czech Jews, dispossessed by the Nazis and wandering the roads of eastern Europe. Dawson, editor of The Times, refused to run any of them: it wouldn’t help the victims, he told his staff, and if they were published, Hitler would be offended. (same source as above.)

  9. Read everything could find on the Rotherham ( and other cities ” Grooming Gangs” it is a sick depressing reading and the thousands of British girls being tortured and murdered. The Leftists have let their country be surrendered to the Muslims.
Often say Camp of the Saints missed the mark on the invaders.

  10. In 1968, Enoch Powell in his “Rivers of Blood Speech” warned of this in general terms. In reaction, he was drummed out of politics and polite society.

The Camp of the Saints was published in 1973.

In a 1974 address to the General Assembly of the United Nations, Algerian President Houari Boumédiène proclaimed that, “One day millions of men will leave the southern hemisphere of this planet to burst into the northern one. But not as friends. Because they will burst in to conquer, and they will conquer by populating it with their children. Victory will come to us from the wombs of our women.” Douglas Murray, The Strange Death of Europe: Immigration, Identity, Islam

Islam has waged war upon the West, off and on for 1400+ years.

Most westerners are now familiar with the term jihad. Far less with the arabic term Hijrah, which roughly translates as ‘migratory jihad’.

Many westerners are familiar with the arabic term taqiyya. Islam supports lying when it advances Islamic interests. Far less are familiar with the Sunni practice of Muruna, which is the practice of deceit in one’s lifestyle. So it’s okay for a Sunni Muslim to consume alcohol and other forbidden practices if it is done with the intent to advance Islamic interests.

Islam’s tenets are not just incompatible with Western values, they are decidedly antithetical to them and, for the devout Muslim it is a ‘theological’ imperative that Western values be erased from the earth.

if we look at Europe and we say, well, how will Europe be different from the way it is today in the future? I think there’s sort of three pictures of a very different future, and sort of behind door number one is Islamic Sharia law, and if you’re a woman, you’ll be wearing a burka. So that’s a very different picture of the future, it’s very concrete. Behind door number two is the Chinese communist AI, and it’s the big eye of Sauron that will be watching you at all times and all places. That’s door number two for the future. And door number three is the green movement, and you’ll be puttering around in an E scooter and you’ll be separating out your garbage in a recycling can. And then I think the challenge is that there are no other doors. Those are the three options. And this is a, even though I’m not a crazy environmentalist, this would be my sort of argument for why the green stuff has so much traction in Europe. If those are the only three options, you know, I’ll go with Greta.

  12. Wombs operating like cannons firing volley after volley to make more and more crocodile teeth for chewing and digesting prey – forever the case with Islam.

  13. We arrived in London in May of 2013 to visit our newly-married daughter. That very afternoon, off-duty soldier Lee Rigby was run over, then butchered, by two Muslim terrorists. They didn’t manage to behead him, but tried.

Eleven years ago. What a wake-up call!
    Ha.

  14. Sixty-four years ago, Johnny Horton recorded “Sink the Bismarck.” It became a huge pop hit in the States. It is hard to imagine a Britain that could conjure up such fierceness to protect the country, along with the men to carry out the job.

  15. The tipping point, in my opinion is about 20% of the population. A minority can dominate if it is ruthless enough and its opposition isn’t. What is left of old Europe is exactly that- old-and unwilling or unable to fight.

  16. Courage is the foremost virtue. It is the one all the other hang on. The cowardice of Britain has cost them their country. Of course the World’s Greatest Statesman knew:

    If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed;
if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may
come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.

It appears that many young men are simply checking out and unwilling to defend anything – except presumably their own lives . If that is, YouTube trends are to be believed.

And that disengagement from comittment to, or legal and moral entanglement in, a losing proposition, includes a stance toward some women who seem to have become from one point of view, their point of view, remarkably dysfunctional and toxic.

And that is not in the clinically psychological sense as described by Pew which I have been marvelling at, but moral. And that unlike the startling Pew research report of two years ago, does not even seem to be news.

    From 2005

Our ” society” then, taken as an aggregate of associations with regard to which one is expected to pledge allegiance or loyalty or at least express some fellow feeling, has become “de-moralized”. The overarching associative game no longer being seen as worth the cost of the candle the ordering rules and customs a dead letter, the prize negligible. This, is to the alarm of many professional conservatives who blather on about sheepdogs and male sacrifice as if those concepts could somehow stir the disaffected who sneer at both the game as constituted, and the players.

This does not mean there are not still competitions to be engaged in and diversions to be found and enjoyed as the old anthropological foundations evaporate away. It just means that it will no longer be deliberately propped up and its value affirmed as an article of faith, although mere living does some of that … like burning calories while you sleep.

It’s just that when individuals look at their erstwhile fellows their first reaction in a significant number of cases is, “You’re, not worth the trouble”

Secular moralists have been commenting for thousands of years now, about how when societies reach a certain comfort level wherein the costs of laxness can be deferred or absorbed by stored capital, and exemptions from the rules become the rule, some significant portion of the population becomes frivolous, cruel, self destructive and nihilistic. Or perhaps they were always disposed in that manner, but the material and moral conditions were not such that they could get away with it.

Regardless, we might get to see how that plays out in our own lifetimes.

The question then will be, with whom and what do you keep faith, and who and what do you write off?

  18. There are three good British channels you might like, “GBN News” which if you have a Roku box you can get the app, the other two are on YouTube “New Culture Forum”, and “TalkTV”. The commenters there are fantastic and excoriate the antisemites and appeasers. On New Culture Forum one of the commenters, a woman, pointed out what I always felt that Labour and the Left in their pursuit of Muslim support have a dilemma because the Left and the Islamists are not natural allies. The Left supports LGBTQ etc. and transgenderism while Muslims are socially conservative and are virulently opposed to it. In one British town Labour could not decide which side it was on in a school district regarding these issues.

  19. The pessimist in me agrees with you Neo. The optimist in me recalls the poem by Rudyard Kipling, “The Wrath of the Awakened Saxon”. There’s a resilient history and a strong strain of DNA in these people.

  20. Remember, all, that the United Kingdom posses nuclear arms and the means to deliver them. Sit quietly and think about that.

Add in the fact that British atomic weapons and systems depend in a large part on US know-how and support.

  21. @ Rufus in re Thiel > “And then I think the challenge is that there are no other doors. Those are the three options.”

Insane as it seems, we appear to have a political/social Left that wants to have all three at once.
