Hunter Biden is being charged in California …
… with nine counts of tax evasion:
The latest indictment, which was filed in California, accuses Biden of failure to file and pay taxes, tax evasion, and filing a false return. The 56-page court document alleges that Biden “engaged in a four-year scheme to not pay at least $1.4 million in self-assessed federal taxes he owed for tax years 2016 through 2019” and that he “spent millions of dollars on an extravagant lifestyle rather than paying his tax bills.”
Some people think this is a prelude to dumping father Joe in 2024. However, I still don’t think Joe will be jettisoned, although I’m less sure of this than before. For Biden’s entire administration I have believed that Joe will only be dumped if and when they find a better replacement. None of the possible realistic replacements are presently polling well against Trump, and so for now Joe is still going to be the nominee – barring some sort of catastrophic event that makes it literally impossible for him to run.
I don’t see how even a Hunter conviction on tax evasion implicates father Joe. The are plenty of other possible charges that would implicate Joe, but they are not forthcoming.
Nor do I think Hunter will get more than a slap on the wrist, perhaps from a plea bargain.
Those are my predictions.
This is a set-up so the left can proclaim they are impartial.
Naturally, it was an “honest mistake” and will be treated as such. He will sell a couple of paintings to billionaire Democrats in order to cover a fine and penalty.
And, can’t help but to occasionally compare Joe’s kids to Trumps.
Neo! How dare you imply that Hunter will not receive full justice under the law! The Democrats are all about impartiality in criminal cases. Just look at Trump.
Even NPR now admits that Hunter got millions from China, Ukraine, etc. That income was from deals directly facilitated by him traveling to those places on AF2 with VP Joe Biden, which is also a matter of record.
That’s benefit to the family – there doesn’t need to be a check to Joe marked “10% kickback to Big Guy”, no matter what Dem commentators say!

In related news, it appears that my esteemed Governor’s national aspirations may be on life support. So, “Gruesome Newsom”, as I like to call him, may be prevented from doing for the country what he has done for California. Praise the Lord.

Putin will unilaterally withdraw from all of Ukraine before Hunter goes to jail.
Joe Biden will remain unscathed.
IMHO Joe and his DOJ lap dogs have figured that allowing Hunter to be indicted will lessen pressure on Joe’s dealings and permit him to claim that nobody in his family, including himself, is above the law.
Don’t be surprised if Hunter’s trial lasts 100 years; or worse, if prosecution witnesses suddenly can’t remember anything or key evidence “disappears.”
I have to agree with John Tyler on this – this is all a game to pretend that Hunter Biden has been ‘prosecuted,’ no one is ‘above the law,’ and any attempts to link Joe Biden to Hunter’s shady business dealings is old news and ‘debunked.’ I’d like to thank the Department of Justice for exactly nothing.

Didn’t Biden say the other day that the only reason he was running at all was because Trump was running? What a bizarre situation the Democrats are in. Biden is obviously not popular. In poll after poll the overwhelming majority of people, including most Democrats, believe that he’s “too old” to be running at all. And yet he’s apparently the only one who could beat Trump?
Joe Biden didn’t pay taxes on the income he received via Hunter Biden and brother James Biden. That is what the “loan” designations were all about- evading taxes.

This did not matter to Calif. voters; they elected him TWICE to be governor of the state.
This demonstrates that most voters simply do not pay any attention whatsoever to the policies a candidate wishes to implement or what a candidate actually does while in office.
What really matters to most voters is how they perceive a candidate. If they like his/her looks, demeanor and personality, they will vote for that person.
If he is handsome, has a confidant, reserved demeanor, looks the role he is running to fill, can talk smoothly, etc., then people will vote for him.
If California voters are swayed by his attributes (while totally ignoring his disastrous policies) you can bet your ass that nearly 50% – or more – of voters will vote for him for president.
His 100% perfectly dismal record of disastrous policies have, so far at least, not hindered his quest for ever higher office.
And don’t forget that no matter who the demokrats select as their candidate, the media (the propaganda arm of that party) will be supporting him while denigrating his opponent.
It was Abe Lincoln who said ,

And in a representative democracy the voters can (and oft times do) choose, voluntarily and willingly, those agents that will cause the rottenness.

Any Democrat nominee could get elected in California, and Newsom is not only a Democrat but a telegenic one. But California is not the nation (yet). Newsom does not poll well on a national basis – no better than Biden.

I believe that Biden is the guy unless he is dead. Once he is gone the Biden crime family loses all of their protection. I don’t think the deep state wants Newsom either. He is poison and is actually pretty stupid.

The Democrats segue to political Rope-a-Dope. Cover up and weather the blows, deny any & all of Hunter’s copious connections to Joe Biden and trips on AF2 to foreign lands, and timely coincidences to Hunter’s cash deals and Joe’s public policy statements and private correspondence. Keep denying them and make the Republicans dig away and produce the evidence. And then, deny the evidence (‘Lies, all lies !’) and then, when it’s inevitable, shift the position again.
Works every time, as long as you own the media. They’ll be able to string out the ‘Rope-a-dope’ until 2024 elections, easy.
Neo, he received the money from Hunter’s business- no way that can be called a gift. And, I promise you this- James Biden didn’t pay any taxes on the money he gave to Joe. They will have to prove it was a loan repayment, or both are guilty of tax fraud.
It should pointed out that many are missing the big picture. The tax issues are minor. The main issue is that JB received money from foreign entities in order to direct US policy to their favor. This is known as treason.

Yes, I won’t be least bit surprised if Joe pulls out at the convention itself. Rules, conventions (in abstract meaning of the word), etal. mean nothing to Dems. Look what they’ve managed to fraudulently accomplish in last two national elections. So 2024 will be very interesting.
I do not think the Democrats will manage to toss Biden unless
1) He is deceased
2) Jill is convinced he is safe and they (i,e, she) get to enjoy all the bennies (Doesn’t want to lose her Sugar Daddy)
Case 1 is a maybe he is seriously decrepit, of course he gets darned good medical care there may not be a lot there but the heart will still be beating. If Kamala were even vaguely competent I might expect to see a false flag (say an alleged 1/6 type) assassination of Joe, but even Democrats are bright enough to know that if Kamala gets the big chair it will be darned hard to dislodge her and she makes Joe look like Einstein, Feynmann and Hawking rolled into one. So the Democrats REALLY want to keep Joe alive until the end of his term.
Case 2 seems highly unlikely, Jill seems to be a SERIOUS grifter/golddigger, and very socially climbing. I mean what dingaling actually thinks a random EdD not in any academic position is called Doctor? Jill reminds me of the (unflattering) portrayal of Mrs. Grissom in the movie of “The Right Stuff” after Gus Grissoms Liberty Bell 7 sank. Only Ms. Biden is nowhere near so sympathetic a figure.
Given it seems high probability Joe runs (well stumbles) what do we do with this particular miscreant progeny. If Hunter (or his lawyers) were smart they’d get a plea bargain with minimal jail time and then get that delayed as much as possible. If Joe loses he pardons Hunter Jan 19. If Joe/Jill lets Newsom (or someone else) run and they win same thing. If Joe manages to survive 2024 and win (sadly a higher percentage due to a variety of issues than I like to consider) pardon is also likely UNLESS there is both a house AND senate majority (at which point sonny boy gets to sit on his ass in prison for the 3-6 months they’ll have plea bargained for). However Hunter’s IQ does not exceed his waist measurement and his lawyers aren’t much better (certainly not at law). I can’t imagine they want this to go to trial just too much chance of someone (Like Jim Biden) deciding to rat things out to save their own sorry hide. A possibility is they MIGHT try to have Hunter rat Daddy and Uncle Jim out, but if that happens let me be the first to say Hunter didn’t kill himself, I suspect Hunter is quite aware of this. This is just a Charlie Foxtrot of epic proportions, and sadly I’m too fat to be able to consume all the popcorn this so richly deserves,
Hunter won’t go to jail and he’ll be given a payment plan for the back taxes. If he pays … end of story.
