Border crossings — 20 Comments

  1. Many illegals have been led to believe they will be welcome in the USA.
Many have endured hardship and traveled hundreds of mile on foot.

When they are unwelcome and met with hostility, they are brainwashed into blaming the right, instead of the left, which has continually lied to them about
    how wonderful things will be.

Several sites showing South Side Chicago rightfully pissed off about illegals being shipped in. The illegas will be in for a very rough time. They are mostly not hard core, tattoed MS13 gangsters. They are mostly normal people who want to work, raise a family and become American citizens.

These people should be bombarded with the truth, that the Democrats have lied to them and created a hateful atmosphere.

  2. “US border agents apprehended a record-breaking 67,759 illegal migrants in the past week alone — including sex offenders and gang members — as well as a massive stash of fentanyl, officials said Friday.”

That’s more than the population of my home town in Pennsylvania– 59,000 according to the 2020 census. I’m trying to picture the entire population of a small city moving into Texas in the space of a week.

Meanwhile, “Vice President Kamala Harris will visit Atlanta on Friday for a Democratic Party “spring soiree” — instead of visiting the US-Mexico border in her role as migration czar as thousands of people illegally enter America after the lifting of the Title 42 COVID-19 expulsion policy.”

I suppose Brandon has already gone off to Delaware for the weekend.

  3. It’s intentional, and it will be hard to undo the damage, even given a more sensible administration, which may not happen.

  4. It is certainly intentional, the destruction of traditional, middle-class America being essential to the “fundamental transformation” of the nation into a grotesque simulacrum of the former republic, now “gone with the wind”, never to return. However one chooses to analyze the cause (implementation of the Cloward-Piven strategy, the old Marxist slogan of “the worse the better”, the multiculturalist obsession with demographic change and the cynical use of such by means of divide-and-conquer, through identity politics, for establishing and maintaining control by a malevolent and privileged elite, the result is, all too predictably, exploitable chaos, the loss of liberty, and creeping totalitarianism.

  5. This is what Tucker Carlson, accurately, called “Replacement theory” except it is no long a theory. Of course the left accuses him of “lies” as he points out reality. Labour did this in Britain with Muslims and London is no longer a safe city.

  6. Brandon cares soooo much about the underprivileged and underserved, the disadvantaged, disenfranchised and downtrodden.

JE, you are correct, creeping totalitarianism is back, after hitting us over the head with it during the plandemic.

  7. The first step to “Make Texas Mexico Again”

    “creeping totalitarianism”…?
    Surely you jest.
Nothing “creeping” here unless a steamrolling human tidal wave of misery counts as “creeping.”

  8. The Center for Immigration Studies, a respectable think tank not known for rocking the boat is reporting that US authorities are coordinating crossings of the illegals with the Mexican authorities. We all laughed when the Bush 43 administration floated the North American Union trial balloon. I’m not laughing anymore.

As a wise man once said, never attribute to incompetence what can be explained by malice.

  9. Biden is not sending our military to the border to secure it, he’s sending them to speed the process of getting the crossers released into the public. How is that not treason?

  10. Our ”military” in action (sad) — ‘Stop filming the Illegal aliens’…https://twitter.com/CitizenFreePres/status/1657128035278258176

  11. I remember when Jimmy Carter ( handled by Bill Clinton) announced that our borders should be open. That was sometime between 1977 and 1981. He was so righteous about our responsibility to make the world a better place for every human being. In the process of moving toward a world without borders, he gave away the Panama Canal. Without the canal, we can no longer quickly move our equipment from the Pacific to the Atlantic, oh but that made us sweeter humanitarians!

What we need now is a group of citizens willing to work with a group of our military to take back our borders without violence.

  12. Anne ~ “without violence” … An improvised explosive device bound for the U.S. was intercepted at an Arizona port of entry. /// How many million ‘got aways’ so far with who knows what. Their drugs kill thousands… more than our war dead. Remember, “People Sleep Peacefully in Their Beds at Night Only Because Rough Men Stand Ready to Do Violence on Their Behalf”.

  13. I liked the fat woman who kept trying to block the video camera as the illegals filed out of the bus onto Kamala’s lawn. Twitter is finally getting worthwhile. Abbot is not stopping them but he is getting attention by shipping illegals to northern blue cities. The illegals going to the South Shore neighborhood in Chicago may want to turn around and go home. I grew up in South Shore in the 50s. It is now the most violent area in Chicago. Meanwhile, El Salvador has had no murders in a year. Wonder why ?

  14. cb, I was joking.
Btw, were you directing our attention to the post or to the community note?

  15. I think the actual quote was, “Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.” It’s clear though, that this “surge to the border” is what Biden and his team intended. He said exactly that in the debates. To what extent, though, is it part of a master plan to transform America, and to what extent do our rulers really believe their talk about refugees from violence and climate change? In other words, even when there is a plan, it takes a lot of stupidity and gullibility to get people to go along with it, and it can be hard to tell who’s acting out of naivety and who’s motivated by cunning and calculation.

I agree that not all of the illegals are MS13 gangbangers, but most of them are young singles, not families who sit around the kitchen table and decide to sell the house. They are coming here for a different life, perhaps a better life, but I don’t think their primary motive is to become American citizens. To a degree, we romanticize immigration, and it’s strange that at a time when so many Americans are critical of the country and uncomfortable with its past and its future, we choose in this case to think of ourselves still as a shining, idealistic magnet attracting all mankind, rather than admit that great wealth inevitably attracts people who want, in one way or another, to get a piece of the pie.

  16. The amounts of money each illegal has to pay to the cartels to get through are huge. And there was a congressional hearing where these numbers were discussed.

When an illegal doesn’t have the cash, they become sex slaves or slave labor.

I have to assume that the Big Guy and his cronies are getting a cut of the massive sums of money being made on this.
