Santos arrested, Bidens not arrested
George Santos, Republican member of the House from the Third District in the state of New York, is a liar. He’s certainly guilty of that, and he may even be guilty of the things he’s been arrested for today:
The indictment says Santos induced supporters to donate to a company under the false pretense that the money would be used to support his campaign. Instead, it says, he used it for personal expenses, including luxury designer clothes and to pay off his credit cards.
Santos also is accused of lying about his finances on congressional disclosure forms and applying for and receiving unemployment benefits while he was employed as regional director of an investment firm and running for Congress.
U.S. Attorney Breon Peace said the indictment “seeks to hold Santos accountable for various alleged fraudulent schemes and brazen misrepresentations.”
…[Santos was charged with ] seven counts of wire fraud, three counts of money laundering, one count of theft of public funds, and two counts of making materially false statements to the House of Representatives.
How many members of the House, and other government officials, could be charged with same or similar? Quite a few, I’d wager. One who immediately comes to mind is Ilhan Omar; see this and this. I have little doubt there are more. probably just as crooked as Santos but not as obviously so, and many with “D” after their names, who will not be charged or arrested.
And then we have the Bidens. Ah, the Bidens! Another announcement today, from the House Oversight Committee, went like this:
The House Oversight Committee revealed the nine Biden family members that received over $10 million from foreign nationals. They tried to hide the money in shell companies.

It said Biden family members and business associates “created a web of over 20 companies — most were limited liability companies formed during Joe Biden’s vice presidency.”
After [Joe Biden assumed] the vice presidency in 2009, records reveal Hunter Biden and his business associates formed at least 15 companies,” the memo said. Those companies include Lion Hall Group LLC; Owasco P.C.; Robinson Walker, LLC; Skaneateles, LLC; Seneca Global Advisors, LLC; Rosemont Seneca Partners, LLC; Rosemont Seneca Principal Investments LLC; Rosemont Seneca Bohai, LLC; Hudson West III, LLC; Hudson West V, LLC; CEFC Infrastructure Investment (US) and others.
“Bank records show the Biden family, their business associates, and their companies received over $10 million from foreign nationals’ companies,” the memo said, adding that the committee identified payments to Biden family members from foreign companies “while Joe Biden served as Vice President and after he left public office.”
“[T]he Biden family used business associates’ companies to receive millions of dollars from foreign companies,” the memo said, adding that the Biden family “received incremental payments over time to different bank accounts.”
In some instances, Biden associates would receive significant deposits from foreign sources into their bank accounts and then transfer smaller, incremental payments to Biden bank accounts,” the memo said. “These complicated and seemingly unnecessary financial transactions appear to be a concerted effort to conceal the source and total amount received from the foreign companies.”
It said Chinese nationals and companies “with significant ties to Chinese intelligence and the Chinese Communist Party hid the source of the funds by layering domestic limited liability companies.”
The committee says it is investigating “the opaque corporate structure of particular Biden-affiliated companies, those companies’ complicated connections with each other, whether these companies maintained books and records, and why certain foreign nationals sought to partner with and engage in businesses with specific Biden family members and their companies.”
Well, they are a very talented bunch. Including wives and grandchildren, who also received money from foreign governments.
The White House calls the probe “evidence-free” and “politically-motivated.” Hey, I’ve got an idea – maybe 51 intelligence officers can say it’s all Russian disinformation.
What are the odds of anyone important getting arrested for this? How long has the DOJ and FBI known about it? Probably a long long time. Will some lower-downs get slaps on the wrist, or not?

As far as I can surmise, under our current highly corrupt regime we have effectively at least 7 different sets of standards in this country when it comes to actually enforcing the law.
1). One set for high profile Republicans.
2). A different set for powerful Democrats.
3). There’s one if your name happens to be Donald Trump.
4). There’s one for the percieved enemies of the State (most notably the J6 offenders).
5). One for violent, repeat offenders in large cities overseen by corrupt Sorosian DAs.
6). One illegal aliens.
7). And one for everbody else.
There’s likely more though. It’s hard to keep track.
Will there be charges in the future for Maxine Waters (corruption related to her husband and her daughter), Ilhan Omar (immigration-fraud, campaign-finance fraud), Adam Schiff (Russiagate hoax), and countless others in the party of donkeys (or, rather, jackasses)?
Joe Biden has been bribed by foreign countries and he has taken official actions contrary to the best interests of the United States (e.g. not shooting down the ChiCom spy balloon.)
But the Dems would never vote to convict him in an impeachment trial. He’ll also never step down at the request of Senate Dems.
The Dems put money and party over country.
As I mentioned in the Open Thread, none of the MSM are even going anywhere near the Biden story. So as far as most of the country is concerned nothing has happened. I wish McCarthy would at least do the same as Pelosi and bring articles of impeachment. OK, so it won’t get pass the Senate, but at least it will raise the profile of the corruption of the Bidens.
I’m afraid the Comer investigation is just Durham 2.0.

Fox Business TV has had substantial coverage of the Biden foreign money and shell companies story.
I wonder where this is all heading. Can we extrapolate these Democrat/Media actions and estimate what’s really going on?
1) They got control of the country sewn up and are just flexing their muscles and flaunting it.
2) They are beginning to lose control in ways that we perhaps don’t see. (Black support for Biden is down to 50% in a recent news item.) And these are actions of grasping and desperation.
3) They are trying to goad conservatives into violent actions so as to justify throwing the whole of the FBI/DOJ apparatus into a political war.

If a video showed Joe Bidet fornicating and then murdering a child was made public, rest assured the NY Times, the MSM, the “deep” state and many social media sites would either ignore the video or claim is was an elaborate AI or video editing hoax.

I don’t think there’s a conspiracy theory that Robert Kennedy doesn’t believe in. Most of them are garbage. Unfortunately, there is ample reason to distrust the government and certainly to distrust the CIA. That doesn’t mean they killed Kennedy. I have written extensively on this subject on this blog, and I certainly don’t have the time or inclinationt to go into it again at the moment. But do a search here and you’ll find many posts such as this, this, and this.
Santos was the Dems hole card. They knew he had MANY lies on his record, but they chose to let it slide in the immediate period after the election.
They knew Biden’s corruption was going to surface, sooner or later, and they kept Santos tucked away.
Once the need for a patsy arose, they slammed down that hole card – just in time to hit the news – and, they hoped, take the attention away from Biden and the accumulating evidence that, yes, he and his family DID commit indictable crimes.
Plus, by not taking him down before the election, they were able to ensure that a DEMOCRATIC governor – once who is a true and committed Leftist – would be able to appoint the new Congressman. I’m assuming that this will happen fairly quickly (most ethics charges against serving Congressmen get dismissed, after a fine, and occasionally with an agreement that the Representative will resign).
The arrest was to pressure him to cave and take a plea deal quickly, giving them one more D on their side, and bringing them closer to the magic number that allows them to take control.
Expect OTHER GOP to face pressure to leave quickly. Hell, most of Congress has some buried scandals in their closet.
To add to what I wrote above, the Dems are planning a blackmail coup. If the guy resigns, they will agree to keep it on the downlow. If he resists resigning (either the charge doesn’t amount to much, or is partly fabricated), they will bring in more arrests.
Which not only gives them the majority, but also takes the attention off Biden – Look over there, not here – THEY are the ones who are crooks!
