  1. I’m curious if any outlet in the legacy mainstream media will deign to even have a passing mention regarding any of the details Comer has unveiled today. If they do I imagine they’ll frame it in a way that makes it all seem like largely baseless allegations and far right wing ultra MAGA conspiracy theories or whatever.

  2. its an exercise in raw power, we know this scranton gang had sold out, we will crush anyone else as a sign of our impunity,

  3. Seems as though George Santos dearly wants to join the Biden family and to this end has been working assiduously on his bona fides.
    And they ARE pretty impressive!
(Or maybe he just wants to BE President and is trying to beef up his CV, inspired by the current occupier of the Oval Office.)

Either way, here comes another massive distraction…as the rigorously law-abiding “Biden”—that exemplar of rectitude and righteousness—goes after one of its wannabes….
“George Santos in custody, federal indictment unsealed ahead of first court appearance”—
    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/george-santos-custody-federal-indictment-unsealed-ahead-first-court-appearance

The entire article is actually a hugely interesting exercise, in Bidenesque creativity.
All you have to do is substitute “Biden” for “Santos” and you have a pretty good picture of the just what “Biden” (and friends) needs to cover up in this latest iteration of “his” coverup of the coverup of the coverup of the…

(This whole episode is so incredibly bizzare that one might do well to wonder exactly who has been sponsored Santos; who put him up to it…and what Santos may be getting in return…”conspiracy theory” being what it has become, thanks to the utter and ongoing perfidy of the Democratic Party.)

  4. compared to william cold cash jefferson (600 k) thats near beer, and his atty ended up the third power ranger (amy jackson) ‘im kidding federal judge, ruling over the manafort trial,

  5. And if George keeps this kind of nonsense up—can’t he even keep it out of the news??—it looks more and more likely that the powers that be are going to have to go hard after Trump’s family.

Or maybe we’re due for an MTG-sticking party, courtesy of Democratic Party operatives looking for the next soft target to skewer.

(Problem for them, though, is that she’s not such a soft target. Phew does that woman fight back…)

  6. Santos is obviously a fruitcake.
And—if he’s being used as such—a tremendously transparent tool.

(But then the Democrats just LOOOOVE transparency….)

  7. very near beer, unlike say bob corker who misreported millions on tax, or the senators who shortsold during the pandemic, kelly what’s her name, or any number of slithy toves,

santos real crime, was to speak out against the caucasus looting party same with cawthorne, (have you heard anything from his replacement, you might wanted to check dairy cartons,

  8. Nonapod, I just did a driveby of ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, USAToday. The Comer allegations are not even buried way down the pages…they don’t even exist.

Not that I have much faith in Comer et al to actually do anything. Most of the comments on the revelations on the FOX site were of the vein…”yeah, so what? Just more blah, blah, blah unless the GOP actually does something” It appears that not just here at Neo’s, but the cynicism and recognition of the bicameral justice system is fairly widespread.

  9. physicsguy:

What can the GOP do? They don’t control the DOJ. Or the Delaware or DC prosecutors.

If they decide to impeach Biden it would be another empty exercise with no conviction. Plus, the evidence so far doesn’t directly implicate Biden.

  10. Neo, lack of evidence never stopped Pelosi et al in their impeachment of Trump x2. Time to start playing by the same rules the Dems play by. It’s obvious by now the GOP ‘nice guy’ strategy is getting us nowhere.

Part of what I am concerned is that if the GOP doesn’t start using the same blood sport tactics against the Ds, then at some point the conservative public cynicism is going to boil over to real anger and violence.

  11. Interesting video; but, I’d like to add a third theory – eggs of any unusual color will make it easier to spot the eggs of “brood parasites” and thereby make it easy for the parents to toss out the parasite eggs.

Unless the brood parasite has evolved to match that unusual color; something which I think would NOT be to the parasite’s advantage. Better to evolve to lay eggs to match most eggs not the unusual ones.

But then I’m not a scientist so what do I know.

    charles:

I like your theory, but I’m not a scientist either.
