The newest Twitter files release — 19 Comments

  1. Another day another Twitter file.

And like the others, this can be safely filed under “Stuff that the vast majority of Conservatives knew about already but heretofore hadn’t really been confirmed in a way that couldn’t be dismissed as some sort of a ‘Conspiracy Theory’.” It also could be filed under “Stuff that anyone with even the slightest imagination could infer if they were being honest.”

  2. It drives me wild, but the Dems never – and I mean never – pay any price for their behavior.

  3. “Only trouble is – it may only be the right who’s reading any of this.”
    Too true!
Every couple of weeks we get together with friends over beers and snacks. Most are very liberal to middle of the road. I’ve mentioned before – it still astounds me that we inhabit different media spheres. I’m amazed that very liberal whites have never heard of Glenn Lowry, and often even Thomas Sowell. I sometimes think that it’s me who must be living in world where only conspiracies live.

  4. The falsity of the Russia Collusion charge, which had already been proven false by the Mueller investigation and the Nunes Memo, is now completely confirmed.

Will the MSM or Democrat mouthpieces ever admit it? Nope.

Will there ever be any accountability for such unethical conduct? Nope.

Our only hope is that enough Low Information Voters get the message and decide to vote against the Democrats.

Our political system has been turned into a bad joke.

  5. The “Mainstream Media” will see that 50% of the country never sees this. Gradually, some of the public is becoming aware that they are being lied to but many still trust the media, TV “news” and the newspapers, and will ignore the truth.

  6. JJ,

The Mueller investigation was a sham intended to get Trump. In fact, that investigation indicted Russians who bought facebook ads in order to create headlines to further the narrative. The prosecution was eventually dropped, after the Russians unexpectedly hired lawyers to challenge the charges.

The prosecutors were not prepared for the case to be challenged. It was eventually dropped since the government was unwilling to grant discovery.

  7. Also, you might recall Mueller’s funny press briefing on the investigation. This happened after the report came out but prior to him testifying to Congress.

At the time it was hard to understand the purpose of the press briefing, given that at first glance it offered no new info. It was obfuscation at its best.

  8. Don, thanks for your comments on the Mueller investigation. Details that are easy to forget.

Even though the MSM and Democrats wouldn’t admit it, the investigation showed NO actual collusion between Trump and Russia. The Nunes Memo also showed that the FBI and members of the Obama administration were trying to frame the incoming President as being a Russian stooge. Outrageous!

And now the e-mails and memos to expose the bad actors and their intents are public. The whole thing was cooked up by Hillary and some other Democrat operatives then carried forward by the FBI and Intel community. The evidence is irrefutable now.

Innocent lives have been ruined. The country has been badly damaged, and too many uninformed people know little or nothing about it.

  9. “too many uninformed people know little or nothing about it.” JJ

They’re uninformed because they don’t want to know about it. The end justifies whatever the means.

“Now more than ever the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless, and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness, and corruption.” Pres. James A. Garfield

“The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.” Alexis De Tocqueville

  10. Cornbread

What do you want to have done? We do not really have a history of punishing people in Washington.

  11. They’re uninformed because they don’t want to know about it. The end justifies whatever the means. –Geoffrey Britain

If that were true, neither neo nor myself would be conservatives. I’ll grant that neo is the greater prize for the cause than I, but still…

Per the Hemingway quote about bankruptcy, people change their politics gradually then suddenly. After 9-11 I hit a critical mass of doubts about leftism, then BOOM! the whole thing collapsed.

Sure, the Twitter Files probably won’t be the final straw for many Democrat voters, but when their comfortable world gets shaky and they start looking around, the Twitter Files will there and may become part of the BOOM!

  12. you look around at local media, it’s mostly a two minute hate at desantis, that the tribune and gannett papers, the local stations are full of ephemera, that play things at a lesser boil, it’s a where’s waldo exercise to see any twitter revelations anywhere but fox, they tell us we’re paranoid to worry about taking away our stoves, but it would be good for us, same for critical race theory, gender care,
the longer form magazines have much the same format just more blank pages,
whole cities burning is a sign of civic engagement, a brief rally that got out of hand is pearl harbor and 9/11 combined and anyone who thinks otherwise is practicing crime think,

  13. The new yorker is one those boutique publications that seems intent on covering the revelations with a pillow

  14. Just looking at a photo of Schiff, you wonder why anybody would believe a word he says.

    He radiates weasel.

  15. @ huxley > “Sure, the Twitter Files probably won’t be the final straw for many Democrat voters, but when their comfortable world gets shaky and they start looking around, the Twitter Files will there and may become part of the BOOM!”

There have to be a lot of straws piled onto the camel’s back before the final one breaks it.

  16. Miguel dropped a cryptic link in the classified documents thread that names Biden’s attorney (collapsing the thread somewhat):
    https://twitter.com/DroppedmicAgain/status/1613994268665827328

Confirming reports. White House aide says: “The President’s personal attorney” on the docs matter “is Bob Bauer.”
Founder of Perkins Coie Law Firm he recently resigned.
He was General Counsel to the DNC in 2008 and 2012
He was General Counsel for Obama for America and later Organizing for America

    Gee, what a surprise.

Scrolling on down, I found this from Matt Taibbi (you have to read the quote-tweets in reverse order):
    https://twitter.com/mtaibbi/status/1613997896277364761

    Matt Taibbi @mtaibbi
Congressman, I’m an American citizen, I love my country, and accusing me of repeating “Kremlin talking points” when I report something you find inconvenient is beyond reprehensible. You and your sleazy red-baiting pals in congress should be ashamed.

    Quote Tweet
    Ted Lieu @tedlieu
What @mtaibbi leaves out is that the article he cites explains DOJ dropped the two cases because discovery would give the Russians information they could weaponize. @mtaibbi now wants you to doubt the DOJ’s case against 12 Russian agents. He’s spewing Kremlin talking points. twitter.com/mtaibbi/status…

What Ted Lieu leaves out was mentioned by Don in this thread:

The Mueller investigation was a sham intended to get Trump. In fact, that investigation indicted Russians who bought facebook ads in order to create headlines to further the narrative. The prosecution was eventually dropped, after the Russians unexpectedly hired lawyers to challenge the charges.

The prosecutors were not prepared for the case to be challenged. It was eventually dropped since the government was unwilling to grant discovery.

If the government couldn’t tolerate discovery, they shouldn’t have indicted the defendants.
The case was dropped because they didn’t have any case to make.

  17. Well, that was an interesting blockquote fail, but I think the correct nesting can be deciphered.

  18. Sooooo I guess that means we should stop looking for those ‘Macedonian Content Farmers’ Hillary was complaining about?

  19. THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO THE COUNTRY. ONE DAY THEY WILL WAKE UP AND IT WILL BE TO LATE. DON’T THESE PEOPLE HAVE CHILDREN OR GRAND CHILDREN. THEY WILL NOT GROW IN A SAFE OR HONEST COUNTRY LIKE THEY GREW UP IN WHEN THEY WERE YOUNG. I HONESTLY DON’T KNOW WHY THEY HAVE BLINDERS ON. THEY ALL FOLLOW GEORGE SOROS AND HILLERY AND BOTH OF THEM ARE REALLY EVIL.
