Not just a lie and not even just a Big Lie: Democrats invert the tuth — 18 Comments

1. they’ve either given up on the mid-terms or they know that the fix is in. I don’t know which it is.

While being overly optimistic may be foolish, I think it’s also irrational to be too pessimistic with regards to how many votes the Democrats can actually steal. In the months leading up to this election I’ve notices a lot of ultra cynical Conservatives who seem convinced that there’s no real limit to the ability of corrupt leftist election officials to manufacture votes for their team and convince the masses that everything’s above board. Of course I could be wrong, but either way I guess we’ll know shortly.

2. Urban Dictionary: cracked out of turn

In “con speak” it’s what happens when someone accidentally speaks out of turn and ruins the con itself.

“I had totally gotten away with it until my little brother cracked out of turn.”

The converse of cracking out of turn is to always deny the truth, or better yet amplify the con. This either is or looks a lot like inverting the truth.

3. Yawn. They lie about EVERYTHING.

And then they lie about lying.
(They’re incredibly consistent!!)

Some people are waking up to it. Depends on how many.

The media covers for them…and conveniently covers up their coverups. Most of the time, at least.

Some people already know but don’t care, so effectively has “Biden” & Co. demonized the Republicans.

And yes, if the fix is in, then it may not matter how many lies they tell or cover up….

4. It is a never ending puzzle to me how reasonable, educated people can devote their lives to following delusions like “Climate Change,” and ending fossil fuels. I expect this winter to educate some but the young will still remain as true believers.

5. I still don’t believe they will get rid of Biden any time soon because all the alternatives are seemingly worse, but it does seem like they’re lengthening Biden’s leash a bit more recently leading to all sorts of “fumbles” and “gaffes”. These fumbles are now actually being noticed by the MSM, which does make me a little suspicious. I guess we’ll know for sure that they are planning to get rid of old Joe if they let him loose at an opening of an elementary school.

6. it’s like an endless sideshow bob stepping on rakes, but granholm, haaland et al are dead serious about cancelling fossil fuels, the latter has a direct financial incentive, as for john kerry,

7. Democrats seem increasingly aware that they can’t nominate Biden in 2024. He’s being thrown under the bus, but I am surprised it’s before the midterms. I thought it would start next week.

8. When Biden made his statement about replacing coal plants with wind and solar – just hook them up to the existing power lines – with conviction and no hint of doubt, I knew that the man has gone completely over the edge. This madman/clown is POTUS. Unbelievable! He and his party deserve to be inundated by a RED WAVE. May it come to pass.

9. I need new conspiracy theories. Every single one of my old ones turned out to be completely true.

10. I recall, I think in one of my undergrad political science classes (so, circa 1992-96) an estimate that leftward media bias gave the Dems a roughly 10 point advantage in Presidential elections. That if we had a genuinely objective media, or an evenly divided partisan media (which was the case through most of U.S. history, actually), the popular vote would be closer to 60-40 for the GOP.

That’s 25+ years ago, back when the media still at least made the effort to APPEAR unbiased. How much do they move the needle now?

11. And it looks like, it looks like—Yikes!! Can it BE??? Yes IT CAN!!—ANOTHER LIBERAL HISTORIAN!!
“LATimes Op-Ed Says Press “Failing Americans’ By Treating Both Parties Equally”—
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/los-angeles-times-op-ed-says-press-failing-americans-treating-both-parties-equally
(This “tour de force” is so WAY OFF THE CHARTS…it’s broken the GIGO counter…)
Opening grafs (Read The Whole [Rollicking, ROTFL] Thing)
‘History professor Robert S. McElvaine recently wrote an op-ed piece for the Los Angeles Times in which he stated that journalists are “failing Americans” by insisting on treating both political parties equally….
‘…McElvaine claimed that the United States is in “the final stages of the most critical election for the survival of the American experiment since 1864” and added that journalists bear responsibility for protecting America’s future from “right-wing” extremists.
‘ He wrote: “America’s future hangs on the defeat of the right-wing extremist authoritarians who have seized the name of Lincoln’s party. If we lose, news corporations and journalists with a misplaced sense of ‘balance,’ ‘neutrality’ and ‘nonpartisanship’ will bear a considerable share of the blame.” Down with balance, neutrality, and nonpartisanship! Screw objectivity! To hell with equal treatment, justice, fairness, equality, and equity when it comes to “journalists'” duty to the people!….Mass indoctrination is the last, best hope for democracy!…’

12. @ Miguel > “this explains it, as much as anything”
https://klondrive.blogspot.com/2021/06/the-celebration-parallax.html
“I came across the term ‘celebration parallax’, apparently coined by the American conservative writer Michael Anton in his book ‘The Stakes: America at the Point of No Return’….A fact pattern is either true and glorious or false and scurrilous depending on who states it.”

That also explains the Dems in John Nolte’s post that you also linked, who proclaim that the 2022 election is going to be undermined (in favor of the Republicans) by the same things that never happened in the perfect 2020 election (in favor of the Democrats), because of who is making the charges.
Kind of like one man’s fortifying an election is another man’s rigging the votes.

Ben Franklin was out in front of Anton on this, not surprisingly (in “1776”):
“A rebellion is always legal in the first person – our rebellion; it is only in the third person – their rebellion – that it is illegal.”
