Nobody, but nobody, wants Biden to run in 2024 — 22 Comments

  1. Biden, like Obama before him, has been an absolute dumpster fire for everyone and that includes what we used to call Allies.
Why would anyone want to subject themselves to more of this scum and villainy?

  2. They all look like “The View” regular fans, especially the women. The woman who said “Biden has accomplished a lot” is particularly dim.

  3. Why is it that nearly everyone in their ‘focus groups’ looks like someone due for a rendez-vous with Type II diabetes?

  4. I don’t watch “focus groups” much, but I do look around when I’m in public places. Americans in general are too heavy.

  5. The political question is who do the Dems have, after Biden? It’s hard to believe the public would be excited about Newsom, with his state such a mess.

  6. Sort of a stupid reason to gather all those folks in the video.
If the demokrats nominate a chimpanzee as their presidential candidate, those folks in the video would vote for the chimp.
I can hear their reasoning; “at least the chimp is not a nazi.”

  7. It’s not only that there isn’t an obvious replacement for Biden, it’s that the machinations that would be required to nominate that person are unpalatable. Harris is not viable and how do they replace her with Newsome without upsetting the remnants of their base?

This is the question that keeps what passes for the Democrat brain trust up at night. I would love to hear all the possible scenarios that they are considering. I imagine it involves giving Kamala lots and lots of money.

  8. We didnt want him the first time ‘lie back and think of england’

This sounds very close to my concept of a R.I.T.A. voter which is pretty insulting.

  9. I would venture to say that as far as “Biden” is concerned, Biden/Harris is doing just fine, thank you.

Yes, that sounds nuts, crazy, insane, raving mad…but REMEMBER: their standards are different than yours; as are their goals…as are their “methods”…

There’s still time for a “November surprise”—heck, there’s still time for an “October surprise”…and while everything that everyone is saying about “him” and “them” is true (e.g., VDH’s latest**), or even more than true…it may be an utter non sequitur, given the Dantesque levels of Democratic Party/DOJ/Media/Info-tech skullduggery and their plans to stay in power at ANY and ALL cost (given their previous nefarious plan to gain power at ALL cost).

They have not come this far in order to so easily relinquish their diabolic intentions.

Thus I’m afraid that we’ve arrived at the “ain’t seen nuthin’ yet” stage. I hope, desperately, that on this I’m absolutely wrong (and given my track record, there’s always hope…)

  10. Just voted. I live in Harris County, which flipped Democrat in 2018 and has deteriorated ever since. A couple of things, how desperate do you have to be to call in Jane Fonda to stump for you in 2022 (or any time since 1972)? Why was the only write in vote option for the Harris County Judge (not so much a judge as the head of county title) and not any other position on the ballot including other at large Harris County positions? Could it have anything to do with the creation of new election administrator that reports only to the judge rather than having elections run be the duly elected county clerk, as it was the case before?

Lina Hidalgo is as popular as Biden. And she can’t blame old age.

  11. Harris is not viable and how do they replace her with Newsome without upsetting the remnants of their base?

Democratic voters had men of accomplishment (or, at least, men of some experience) to choose from in 2019. These included Michael Bloomberg, Andrew Yang, John Delaney, John Hickenlooper, and Steve Bullock. They also had Tulsi Gabbard, who was not prepared for the job but is an independent thinker. It was the deepest bench they’d had in the postwar era. And Democratic voters paid these peopole no mind. They don’t want men of accomplishment.

It is true that Bernie Sanders and Pete Booty-gag had been mayors (Sanders consequential in that capacity, Buttigieg not). It’s very difficult to believe that voters took that to heart. What Democratic voters found appealing was, in ascending order: a prosecutor-legislator known for abusing subordinates (i.e. the bad girl boss), an ambulatory resume marketing himself as gay, a faculty shrike whose shtick has been blaming commercial corporations for the bad judgment of their customers (after a career built in part on gaming the affirmative action fraud), an old trotskyist forever issuing denunciations of ‘the rich’, and a crooked clown that Democratic voters had ignored in 2008 and laughed off the stage in 1987. Each successive cohort of partisan Democrats is less impressive in their preferences than the one previous.

  12. Watching the clip I was struck by how absurd the whole production seems. It’s a format I’ve seen a million times; a “focus group” being interviewed by a “journalist.” But now, in the light of the myriad ways the media have diminished their profession in the past years, the tableau is beyond farce. The focus grip is fully aware of the scam and are no longer going along with it.

Ace recently posted a similar clip with a “journalist” interviewing a Republican, Democrat and Independent. The epitome of “regular folks,” just like the groups in this video, but none of them are drawn in by the pageantry. They see through the pomp and circumstance. They see behind the curtain and know these journalists are paid performers.

    Good stuff!

  13. Art Deco; that second paragraph of yours (@2:28p) is epic. Well done! Sad for our country that it is so true. A bad Democratic slate allows for a bad Republican one.

  14. I’d like to see Biden run in 2022, with a raw steak in his underwear and a couple of his vicious dogs chasing him!

  15. Looks like we have a “Quote of the day” (“Can’t see the forest for the trees” edition):

‘…“What if I want to go that way?” the president appears to ask at one point, to which someone responds off camera, “You can go that way if you want.”
“You can do whatever you want,” another staffer assures the president….’
    https://nypost.com/2022/10/25/biden-appears-to-get-lost-after-white-house-tree-planting-event/
Yep, the Emperor of Ice Cream can do whatever he wants.
    Or rather…
“He” can do whatever “he” wants….

Any repercussions at the “polling booths”?
Certainly should be…but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
    And hope…

  16. This seems unjust:
    “National Black Farmers Association leader blasts Biden for ‘breaking promises’;
“Through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), Biden attempted to cancel $4 billion in debt owed by farmers of color.”—
    https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/national-black-farmers-association-leader-blasts-biden-breaking-promises

Don’t they know that “POTUS” can’t remember a thing, that remembering “stuff” is NOT in fact part of “his” job description and that “he” is fully entitled to make things up as “he” goes along?

Astonishing that they haven’t been paying attention.

(Maybe they should consider changing their name to the “National We-Ain’t-Black Farmers Association”…)

  17. Biden’s departure prior to 2024 puts Harris in the oval office. Which would ensure the loss of the WH in 2024.
Biden will not be allowed to run for reelection. Harris will lose the 2024 nomination to Newsome.
