Roundup! Roundup!
(1) There’s evidence that the Proud Boys were not attending Jan 6th in order to cause any trouble, and the government knew it because of a long-term informant that had infiltrated the group.
(2) I haven’t previously written about the controversy concerning the alleged 10-year-old rape victim in Ohio who supposedly was forced by the new Ohio abortion law to go to Indiana for an abortion. The case seemed confusing: was it real or not, and if it was real, why wasn’t the perp being sought? Was it just being used for anti-Dobbs propaganda purposes?
Well, now we have more information, but the picture is still murky. The answers seem to be yes, it’s real; but yes, it may have been manipulated for propaganda purposes because the girl could have actually received an abortion under Ohio law. What’s more, the abortion activist who went public with the case apparently didn’t report the crime as she was required to do, and the man finally arrested is an illegal alien. See this. There’s also this story of denial by a woman alleged to be the victim’s mother, who says the man didn’t do it. The “he” involved is apparently her boyfriend. I assume that question could have been resolved by a DNA test were the child still pregnant, but now I’m not sure – unless the rape was reported quickly and a rape kit administered, which would also have yielded DNA. My guess is that the rape was not reported and that it was only surmised after the pregnancy was discovered, but I don’t know.
(3) RIP Ivana Trump, Donald Trump’s first wife and the mother of Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric.
(4) The recall of George Gascon can’t come soon enough for me. I hope LA feels the same. His latest move is described here:
Progressive Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon has been accused of further “abandoning” victims’ rights by disbanding a unit that alerts them to their assailants’ parole hearings.
Gascon’s office confirmed to Fox News that it was scrapping the Parole Unit, also known as the “Lifer Unit,” by the end of the year.
Please read the whole thing. And please also read this.
(5) Biden won’t abandon the idea of reviving the glorious Iran Deal.
Bad link for the Ivana Trump story. This is one of them: https://sandrarose.com/2022/07/rip-ivana-trump-donald-trumps-ex-wife-dies-of-cardiac-arrest-at-age-73/
Why would anyone believe Iran in any subject? They clearly want a nuclear weapon, and they fully intend on using it.
What do the Democrats think they are going by toadying to terrorist Theocracy? Do they themselves hate Jews, Israel, and their own country that much? Why? This is not rational behavior.
How much is Biden being paid, for his role?
it’s not biden, it’s robert malley, friend of islamists, shia and sunni, son of arabist
simon malley, castro and nasser ally, classmate of blinken, at a fancy lycee, the orchestrator of the khashoggi extravaganza, through the international crisis group, his senor wences is ian bremner,
She evidently had a catastrophic heart attack. Presumably, there will be a post-mortem.
What don’t the Dems understand about a country where they chant “Death to America” after Friday prayers every week? It just epitomizes how much they hate America.
they hate the west, and islamists are the most obvious opponents of same, they also largely endorse the Chinese hegemonist view, in large part,
it’s not even a doubt, that gascon is waging war against the people of los angeles, of all ethnicities,
Yes, the poor impregnated child has become a political football between the self-aggrandizing abortion activist and similarly, with what is looking like a show-boating DA in Ohio, who apparently didn’t even check his own active cases.
It’s useful to have a timeline, and this is what I have read: She was apparently taken to a clinic on June 22nd and the clinic was the one that notified authorities. She was slightly over 6 weeks along; she would have been impregnated while she was still 9. Because of the extreme (but not uncommon, apparently) nature of the case, the file is kept confidential. But it’s hard to believe that the state’s DA would not have received a briefing, had he asked for it.
The girl had the procedure performed on June 30th. The story was first reported on July 1st (presumably set up by the activist doctor), and the President referenced it on July 8th. The suspect was arrested on the 12th. He’s been here illegally for 7 years, apparently, and most recently working in a cafe. They apparently secured DNA samples during the procedures and are in a position to test for paternity.
One wonders what the Ohio medical licensing profession might have to say about such unethical behavior on the part of this doctor – but then if I recall correctly, they were one of the various state authorities that made threats to pull licenses if any doctor dared to prescribe Ivermectin, a few short months ago. So…. there’s that. In a way, maybe we already know what the medical ethical climate looks like in Ohio.
No doubt more of this sordid story will come out in the coming weeks, my only hope is that the girl is protected from it.

possibly, but dr bernard, is apparently re megan fox’s reporting one who was on a list of those who failed to report such things, they will probably cover it with a pillow now that other exigent circumstances are involved,
Aggie:
In terms of how common it is – it’s unfortunately not so very uncommon for children to be sexually molested in various ways. It is less common for it to involve full penetration and ejaculation, although it certainly occurs. It is also uncommon for a 9-year-old to have passed puberty, although indeed that does happen. And even if the first three conditions are meant, it is uncommon for a pregnancy to be the result. In this case, the extreme uncommonness of the situation is due to the fact that all of those conditions were apparently met.
Poor little girl. Mama denies that her boyfriend, who has confessed, is the perpetrator. Boyfriend should have been deported some time ago, if immigration laws were being enforced. One wonders if Mama is also illegal.
I do realize that many Hispanic immigrants, whether legal or illegal, are hard-working people who are not criminals (other than the immigration crime). However, it’s also true that failure to enforce immigration laws permits a lot of sex trafficking, sex crimes, drug dealing, and drunk driving.
Can you imagine Saudi Arabia, with Biden begging for more oil, and watching Biden trying to give money to Iran to help build a nuclear weapon?
Hi Neo: My point was referring to a different context, actually taken from the second linked article:
“An analysis of Columbus police reports filed since May 9 found 50 reports of rape or sexual abuse involving girls 15 years or younger.”
One city of 900K, two months. Appalling, and people like this mother (if the story pans out) would be part of the problem.
“There’s also this story of denial by a woman alleged to be the victim’s mother, who says the man didn’t do it. The “he” involved is apparently her boyfriend. I assume that question could have been resolved by a DNA test were the child still pregnant, but now I’m not sure – unless the rape was reported quickly and a rape kit administered, which would also have yielded DNA. My guess is that the rape was not reported and that it was only surmised after the pregnancy was discovered, but I don’t know.”
I have to wonder if the mother knew (or at least strongly suspected) her boyfriend was abusing her daughter and the possibly that she permitted it or was even a party to it can’t be dismissed. I’d say the fact that they became aware the daughter was pregnant when she was only 5 weeks long supports that hypothesis…generally pregnancy doesn’t start to “show” until around three months.
“Yes, the poor impregnated child has become a political football between the self-aggrandizing abortion activist and similarly, with what is looking like a show-boating DA in Ohio, who apparently didn’t even check his own active cases.
…it’s hard to believe that the state’s DA would not have received a briefing, had he asked for it.”
Actually, I think you’re referring to the state Attorney General and from what I’ve read, he did ask for it and received no information. In this one I have to wonder if the DA in Cleveland (a notoriously liberal city in an otherwise fairly conservative state) intentionally withheld the information to make the AG look bad…or perhaps they were sitting on the information because the people involved are illegals?
The thing about taking the girl to Indiana for an abortion makes no sense to me at all. From what I’ve heard there are exceptions in the Ohio law both for rape/incest and if the pregnancy puts the life of the mother at risk (which for a 10 year old I’d think would be the case). Maybe it had something to do with my theory about the mother being complicit. Perhaps they were assured that the abortionist in Indiana would destroy the remains of the baby before DNA could be taken, thus eliminating the evidence?
There are still more questions about this case than answers and to me it smells to high heaven. There’s more to this story.
Aggie:
“Sexual abuse” can refer to fairly minor things as well as major ones. And some of these cases may also involve juvenile perps who are also underage, and be a case of mutual consent between minors who by definition cannot give consent.

HIPAA Violation Allegedly Filed Against Abortionist Used As Sole Source For Story Of 10-Year-Old Rape Victim
Caitlin Bernard, the sole source for The Indianapolis Star’s story about an alleged 10-year-old rape victim who went out of state for an abortion, is facing repercussions under federal law, according to Fox News.
“A source familiar to the situation” said Indiana abortionist Bernard’s employer “has filed a HIPAA violation against her for sharing details about the young patient,” Aishah Hasnie reported, referring to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, which was passed in 1966 “to protect sensitive patient health information from being disclosed without the patient’s consent or knowledge.”
The Fox News report added that it is still unclear whether the girl was forced to go to Indiana for legal reasons or simply referred to Bernard by the unnamed Ohio child-abuse doctor mentioned in The Indianapolis Star’s story. The original story said the Ohio doctor referred the girl to Bernard since she could not legally have an abortion in Ohio, but state Attorney General Dave Yost said Monday night that Ohio law would have allowed the girl to have an abortion in the state.
The story was criticized for using Bernard’s word as its sole source, especially in light of her track record as a pro-abortion activist who has spoken to the press numerous times. Bernard has even sued to block an Indiana law prohibiting dismemberment abortions, although the law has been allowed to take effect since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
You have to be careful about age. A person’s age is protected information if it can be used to uniquely identify them. So if you talk about a 105-year-old man, or a 10-year-old getting an abortion, you can be violating HIPAA, since the ages are rare.
Regarding # 1 there is the curious saga of Ray Epps.

}}} What don’t the Dems understand about a country where they chant “Death to America” after Friday prayers every week? It just epitomizes how much they hate America.
I honestly suspect a lot of the people in Iran don’t. It’s the government and their hard-line supporters (who probably are not even close to the majority, but are very violent against anyone who does not visibly support them) who cause such chanting to occur.
Not to say we don’t have to act as though they were all nutjobs. Just pointing out that we can all thank Teh One for failing, utterly, to topple the fanatics when he had the chance — back when the populace was thoroughly disgusted with them, and looking to revolt, and we did nothing whatsoever to provide any kind of support for their efforts. So they jailed the leaders and the movement died.
It’s good to remember this simply because it should be noted that change, there, is possible, if the cycles align again, and instead we have an actual PotUS, and not a Democrat PoS in charge.
