As Boudin goes, so goes Gascon? — 20 Comments

  1. A recall of Gascón will not serve justice. It would be the equivalent of a cop who, in plain sight and in a manner beyond dispute, murders a child.

Who then… only loses his job and goes free to seek employment elsewhere.

Gascón is directly responsible for the huge rise in crime. He has directly enabled, aided and abetted it and is thus complicit in those crimes. No less than a getaway driver in a bank holdup.

He has intentionally acted as an accessory, both before and after the fact.

As with all of these Soros prosecutors, his advocacy of progressive ‘policies’ is a cover, as to be supported by Soros requires the embrace of Soros’ goal; the elimination of the US, “the foremost obstacle to world peace and stability”.

  2. Lots of laughable attempts lately to label as “undemocratic” the various methods we have for sending issues right back to the voters to decide.

  3. Geoffrey:

Your last paragraph was apt, your first three were over the top. A 2×4 is best used sparingly.

  4. They are accesories after the fact, why would you allow that to happen to a city (yes i know he had done in san francisco before) and gardner krasner fat alvin the one in loudon cty we have our second one in orlando

  5. And he happens to be of cuban parents served in the army was even in the lapd for a spell yet hes like a guerilla against the people of los angeles

  6. Yes, gathering petitions and getting votes “circumvents the democratic process.”

Gaffe and/or fundamental confusion on the difference between a ‘democratic process’ and a ‘Democratic process?’

More and more I see Democrats speak as though pro-Democrat and pro-democracy is the same thing, to the point that actually seeking votes seems regarded as gauche and superfluous.

  7. An Asian couple was pistol whipped for a Rolex in my San Gabriel Valley suburb, 20 miles east of LA, at a local Chinese Market I have frequented…

Rowland Heights used to be boring from a crime prospective. The local Costco had a purse snatching recently. Catalytic converters get sawed off cars all the time. At the local mall a cars tires were stolen in broad daylight. A homeless lady urinated in front of my wife’s office in a business park, next city over, on Saturday, to my wife’s shock. We were setting up for a new employee.

  8. As someone who has personally suffered as a result of Gascon’s perfidy, I do not find Geoffrey Britain’s comment over the top. Not at all. I also appreciate reading his dissenting views regarding Russia and Ukraine. I, personally am tired of all the bad players: national and international, top to bottom.

  9. Boobah has it right. To these people, “democratic process” and “our democracy” mean “when Democrats win.” It’s when people vote against them that processes are illegitimate.

If these radical prosecutors were deliberately trying to destroy their communities, what would they be doing differently?

  10. Precisely…
Which brings to mind those Domestic Terrorists that Merrick Garland and his DOJ MUST ROOT OUT AT ALL COSTS.

Here’s just one example, of no doubt millions upon millions….
    “Florida dad speaks out after school board cut his mic for reading ‘pornography’ books he found in district;
“The Florida dad said he will protect his son from ‘groomers and pedophiles and twisted sick people that think these… books… are okay to present to a child'”—

While Turley is still trying to be reasonable when arguing with irate Democrats:
“The Parade Of Horribles: A Democratic Talking Point On Dobbs Is Dangerous Disinformation”—

    Well, good luck with that…

And back to the topic at hand:
    “NYC DA’s murder charge against clerk who was attacked is ‘inexplicable,’ experts say;
“Convience store clerk Jose Alba, faces a second-degree murder charge, which has sparked national outrage”—
    https://www.foxnews.com/us/nyc-da-murder-charge-against-clerk-attacked-inexplicable-experts
    Key grafs:
‘…”It’s shocking, shocking, inexplicable, that they charged him,” said Daniel Bibb, who prosecuted murder cases for nearly three decades under late Manhattan DA Robert Morgenthau.
‘”They’re crazy. It’s clear from the video that he’s acting in self-defense. It’s clear from all the evidence that they have thus far,” railed Bibb, who now works as a criminal defense lawyer.
At the time of the incident, Simon was on probation for assault and already had at least 27 arrests under his belt, according to police sources….[Emphasis mine; Barry M.]
‘…United Bodegas of America has also rallied behind Alba, with the association’s President Radhames Rodriguez scheduled to meet with Bragg Tuesday to discuss the case…..’

  11. So the voters oust a particular INDIVIDUAL. What did they learn about the progressive approach to crime that will serve them next election?

  12. The voters of LA who elected him are the problem. Gascón did not hide what he intended to do in Los Angeles as he was formerly the San Francisco District Attorney and his record was clear. George Gascón is the symptom, not the problem – the brainless LA voters who would vote for any pro criminal D.A. as long as he has a D. in front of his name only have themselves to blame.

  13. }}} Gascon called the recall a political power grab that is attempting to “circumvent the democratic process.”

If it wasn’t so ridiculously sad, this would be hilarious. A recall requires people to “vote” on it — FIRST to make a full vote happen, THEN an election is held to decide the issue. He’s pissed because he thought he’d have a full term.

This is like an Education professor claiming they were granted tenure, “you have no business revoking my tenure just because I was found to be molesting 6 year olds.”

You have done SUCH A BAD JOB that you’re getting fired, asshole, BY THE PEOPLE WHO PUT YOU IN OFFICE. “Qwitcherbitchin”.

  14. }}} A homeless lady urinated in front of my wife’s office in a business park, next city over, on Saturday, to my wife’s shock. We were setting up for a new employee.

Was it the homeless lady? Methinks, if so, that she really did not want the job.

    😀

  15. >A homeless lady urinated in front of my wife’s office in a business park

That was no lady, that was a bum.

  16. “George Gascón is the symptom, not the problem”

He is both – THE problem (person) who can be, like Newsome, replaced by a democratic vote of voters (if not stolen). (Newsom not recalled, tho. Because…)
AND he’s a symptom of the crappy politicians Dem Party voters vote for.

It is true – so many voting for the Democratic Party people is why we have these problems.
