If anyone here is interested in the UFO issue, I encourage you to view the very enlightening recent Keynote address and later Q & A discussion of various UFO topics by Dr. Hal Puthoff, at the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies 2021 annual Conference on “Anomalous Aerospace Phenomena.”
Theoretical physicist and government contractor Dr. Puthoff is a heavyweight, he is President and CEO of Earth Tech International, is Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies at Austin. He was a founding member of the To The Stars Academy (TTSA) and, over the last 50 years, been been an advisor to NASA, the Intelligence Community, corporations, and foundations on cutting edge technology, and pursued five decades of research at GE, Sperry, NSA, Stanford University, and SRI.*
Dr Pruthoff obviously accepts UAP/UFOs as being very real, indeed, and his remarks are based on this knowledge.
Some very interesting takeaways from Dr. Pruthof’s remarks–
Asked if he judged UFOs and the entities behind them to be friendly or to be hostile, Dr. Pruthoff referred to a major a UFO incident that I had never heard about before—the close encounters over 1977-78 between humans and UAPs on Brazil’s lightly inhabited (population 2,000) Colares Island.
This incident—featuring UFOs firing beams of light at people—was very well documented by the Brazilian military. These were close encounters which resulted in numerous medical consequences for the humans involved. **
+ Dr. Pruthof’s casual mention/acceptance of the possibility of humans finding evidence at Alien bases on the Moon, or on Mars.
+ Similarly, Dr. Pruthoff’s belief that SETI was unlikely to get any results with their current solely radio frequencies approach, that they should expand searching to include light based i.e. laser signals and, moreover, that they should drastically broaden their search for signs of extraterrestrial life by–first of all–dropping the mindset that “They never came here.”
Instead, he believes that those at SETI should start to look for evidence that “they did come here,” such as, for instance, unusual genetic structures/signatures.
Happened to see a TV commercial for a company selling garage doors, and they had a special offer of $200 dollars off any new garage door.
To show this, at the end of their commercial they put up an illustration of a $200 off coupon with dotted lines around it–as you would see it printed in some publication–and had moving scissors cutting this coupon out.
At the lower part of this example of their coupon, inside the dotted lines, there was this sentence–
“Please do not try to cut your screen.”
Much like using a blow drier in the shower, thats a nono
Meanwhile as we devolve toward droog territory commisar garland pushes for environmental justice
Also, no charging your phone when you’re in the tub – which I used to do.
I remember my first and only trip to Paris, I went to the Louve just to see the Mona Lisa. The portrait is well worth the visit.
She must be getting dressed in the winter, with all those layers to keep her warm.
Snow On Pine: Danke for the Hal Puthoff and Colares Island links. Worthwhile for sure. As you’re likely aware, nuclear scientist Stanton Friedman (d. 2019) was also an unflinching, indefatigable investigator whose pioneering contributions shouldn’t be forgotten. My wife and I attended one of his excellent presentations just a few years before his death.
