Because an uneducated population that is also not skilled in any sort of critical thinking is much easier to control. I thought that would be obvious.
The reason why things such as honors programs are ended is that they contradict the announced end goal – “equity”. According to their equity theories, if everyone doesn’t end up at the same level, it’s evidence of oppression. Honors programs, which by their nature fast-track kids for educational achievement, fly in the face of that sort of thinking.
Why is it so much fun to watch these reaction videos? These 2 young men are charming and they made me appreciate the performances more.
Another prodigy is Emily Bear, composer/pianist. Her first published work was at 4, her first performance at 5, her first album of original compositions at 12, and she just won a Grammy at 21.
This twoset video showcases some of the teachers at Curtis and is well worth a watch.

Nutella.
You might want to stock up on… well, everything else peanut butter, shampoo, lipstick, detergent, ice cream, soap, and lots of other things we use on a daily basis all use palm oil these days.

I note in passing that the Climatistas slavering to ban fossil fuels, because burning them is going to destroy the world (one of these days, somehow, just wait….), seem to have no idea how many of their favorite things are made from petroleum products, which will disappear when the oil is no longer being pumped out for fuel.
