After she was fully dressed it was dark and she had to immediately undress to go to bed.
I’m counting seven layers of cloth. Strange world in which they lived.
In other matters, Lisa Murkowski and Mitt Romney have announced they intend to be complicit in putting the pedo-adjacent non-biologist on the Supreme Court. Oh, and the ‘Republican’ Governor of Maryland has announced that the Florida ‘parental rights in education’ bill is ‘absurd’.
Amazing how many Republican office holders you can find ready to betray their voters and small-check donors. It’s almost as if they despise us and see us as marks.
And from the “Reaches Out” files….
“Ron Klain solicited money from Hunter Biden for VP residence in 2012, emails show: ‘Keep this low low key'” https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ron-klain-solicited-money-hunter-biden-emails-vp-residence
Featuring a cameo by a gobsmacked Jonathan Turley (in video interview)…who, I suspect, will end up being a bit disappointed by the outcome of this little, um, misunderstanding….
Key graf:
‘…President Biden’s White House chief of staff Ron Klain reached out to Hunter Biden in September 2012 for help in raising $20,000 for the Vice President’s Residence Foundation (VPRF), telling him to “keep this low low key” to prevent “bad PR,” according to emails reviewed by Fox News Digital….’
If you want to understand Murkowski and Mitt, click that link and read an Andrew Sullivan post about being invited on Jon Stewart’s new show. Ol’ Andy was brought on to be the whipping boy for Stewart and some POC to insult and harangue on the subject of race.
What’s important is not Sullivan’s whining about how he was treated or how issues of race are more complicated than Stewart and company allow. What’s important is the subtext of Sullivan being butt hurt at being reminded he’s not a member of “the club.” Oh, he’s a part of “the club.” But not a member.
Sullivan is a servant, a waiter, a groundskeeper. He’s somebody kept around to maintain “the club” and service its members. That is Mitt and Murkowski’s job as well. As long as they do that job, as long as they play that role, they can keep fooling themselves they are members of “the club” when they are not.

MBunge,
The guys on the Fifth Column podcast took apart Stewart’s segment on race where Sullivan was blindsided. I was disappointed to hear what had happened. I don’t always agree with Jon Stewart, but he is very intelligent and I assumed he was someone who was more focused on truth than sensationalism.
His Daily Show obviously did a lot of creative editing and spun narratives, but I thought he went along with it mainly for laughs and that he’d be more honest once freed of that format.
Seems like it wasn’t the format, but his nature. Sad.
Here are 2 YouTube channels that might be of some interest:
1420 – interviews with Russians about the invasion, etc
Asian Boss – interviews in Kazakhstan, China on the same subjects.

It’s a bit better than just a list, and it seems to be quite comprehensive to me. Very nice.
Viva and Barnes support the Conservative Treehouse view on Ukraine and Russia.
Podcast 106 for a different point of view.
Here is a remarkable video from today’s Tucker Carlson show, of Biden wandering around, ignored after he speaks at the White House and, then, Obama glad handing Democrats at the White House with Biden in the background, ignored even when he puts his hand on Obama’s shoulder, calls him “Barack” to get his attention, and Biden is still ignored by everyone, including Obama.
Once upon a time your linked list of cognitive biases would have been understood as a standard part of Critical Thinking. Love that stuff.
But now the word Critical means deconstructing Western Civ … with no criticism of anything else.
We are much poorer for it and at much greater peril.

Right from the start Viva and Barnes took up the contrarian point of view on Ukraine, Barnes with great snark. I wrote about it in this comment a month ago and then more in that same comment thread.
