One such truth is this “Thomas Sowell: Political leaders have never brought groups from poverty to affluence.” Looking throughout the world, this does not happenWhat matters, instead, is work, skills building, and savings (ie, capital building). But Sowell notes that when 1960s Civil Rights Act did not improve the economic status of black people, others decided that failure was no bar to further politicisation. In fact, it became necessary.
Why? Political leaders need these groups for them to be successful at gaining political powers and maintaining their power.
This fact is an indictment of the perverse and nefarious greed of these political leaders. This case is completely absent from the GOPs opposition. No one else is making it.
Why not?
