Viva Frei and Nate the Lawyer: where do we go from here? — 18 Comments

  1. Viva Frei is awesome. His videos recently about the Quebec curfews with his dog all alone on the empty streets of Montreal are great. They are short and funny while also summing up the infuriating nature of the authoritarian governments that have destroyed our lives in the last year.

  2. It doesn’t matter what actually happened. What matters is how effective the democrat’s characterization of it as a “riot” and “insurrection” is, as propaganda to further their agenda.

Since the left has control of the major organs of communication, any factual refutation is simply preaching to a powerless congregation.

Where is the consternation among liberals at an inauguration ringed in barbed wire and surrounded by 25,000 troops? Where the liberal consternation at Xiden’s calling for “unity” out of one side of his mouth, while insinuating out of the other side of his mouth that the land is filled with “domestic terrorists”? Where the liberal consternation at Xiden opening the doors to the Chinese now having access to our electrical grid?

Did I miss it? If there was little to none, than that is confirmation of just how effective was and is the democrat’s propaganda.

  3. om,

If you’re going to accuse me of “having entered full eeyore” of being in effect a ‘debbie downer’ who asserts that “all is lost”… then render me the courtesy of explaining how we shall ever win another Presidential election or another Senatorial election in a state with Dominion software? While also explaining how State reforms shall be achieved in those States where massive electoral fraud occurred?

Given that as it now stands, even if 90% vote for a conservative, that enough votes can be easily manufactured/flipped to ensure a ‘victory’. And given the court’s refusal to examine whatever actual evidence of fraud may exist, how shall it be proven that enough votes were in fact manufactured/flipped?

I’m not saying that to be argumentative, those are simply what appear to be the insurmountable obstacles to our ever regaining valid electoral counts.

Enlighten me please, I’d love to return to my prior optimism.

  4. You haven’t been optimistic since 2015. Your opinions are not facts however. Things are certainly grim and challenging but if you assert that a non-leftist can never win another election? Well, ask me to prove a negative while you are at it, funny how that works if I allow you to frame the argument.

Dominion software may or may not be the problem. Changes that were made to procedures in PA, WI, MI, and GA are a problem and don’t rely on Dominion. Vote by mail is a problem. Allowing leftist voting lawfare to succeed in a Republican state is a major problem (GA and PA) but NC showed it can be thwarted even when you have a Dem. Governor(hat tip Kate). There are solutions to those problems that are not insurmountable IMO. You seem to think they are insurmountable.

Take some solace from “I am Spartacus.” Buck up, you ain’t dead yet.

  5. This was a good podcast. I listened to the whole thing.

On this podcast, one commenter “Life of Brian” @ 25:50 wrote something profound. The Authorities were “not woefully underprepared, WILLFULLY underprepared”. Being there on that day I agree. Walking to the Capital we saw cops on bicycles going somewhere and it wasn’t the Capital. People were very polite and a few cheered. As stated before this was pre-planned to short circuit the remote chance of having the 10 day commission to look at the states in question.

I am now a subscriber to the locals board for Viva Frei and Barnes. Sunday’s episode that discussed the various types of executive order was very informative. Example, Trump’s Executive Order written early in his administration was structured such that it could be overturned by another president. This was written by the “corporate” types that Barnes has great distain. The people of Keystone have no recourse.

But the immigration executive order was written by smart people at the end of his administration with Texas. Texas has recourse against Biden lifting it. Very illuminating. Also Barnes has great respect on how Biden’s initial Executive Orders were drafted to have minimal legal challenges to them. This podcast is worth listening to as well as this one.

It covers the Executive Orders, Immigration, Impeachment follies (this is after I watch the farce of the House marching across the Capital to the Senate. Karl Marx was right. History repeats first as tragedy then a farce). Upcoming Second Amendment and COVID Lawsuits. But be of good cheer, the Populist Patriots are organizing and getting prepared. Politics is not static. The counter offensive is starting. I intend to be in the first wave.

Remember, when someone complains tell them “You should be happy. You voted for this.”

  6. I’m with om and I Am Spartacus. Things look bad, but not impossible. The GOP controls 24 states and has another 7 states where they control the legislatures. That means there are a lot of people out there that don’t agree with Biden and the progressives. And Biden is overplaying his hand. New Mexico, a blue state, is already outraged by his ban on fracking. Attacking energy production is going to have bad effects on gasoline and natural gas prices. He’s hitting people in the pocket books and job security right out of the gate. The Democrats believe if they pay off the right groups (unions, blacks, and latinos) they can do whatever they want. I don’t think it’s going to work as well after Trump.

Rand Paul was on the George Stephanopoulos show and promised that he is going to work to run down the fraud and illegal voting practices that happened in WI, MI, PA, and GA. He might not succeed, but if he works at it, I’m sure he will get support from others – like I Am Spartacus, me, and many other people who want answers. We cannot quit as long as we are upright.

Hang tough because Biden’s policies are going to hurt a lot of people. The MSM will cover for him, but if the GOP regroups and offers good alternatives, people will begin to get it. It won’t happen quickly. We just have to hang in and do what little each of us can. Support good candidates, write letters to editors/Congressmen/Senators, support organizations like Prager U./ Judicial Watch, and join your local GOP organization.

60% of the military age men cannot qualify for military service. It’s getting more difficult to find qualified personnel. Now they are planning to politicize the military. That will make it even harder because many of the military recruits come out of red states and conservative families. People will notice. In that same vein, recruiting people for law enforcement in blue cities is getting more difficult because the departments are being politicized and not backed up by the powers that be. Their policies are erosive and dystopian. Let us offer practical alternatives.

I’m old and harmless, but I’m not giving up on this country.

  7. J.J.

Creepy Joe and the Ho f’ed the trades unions (Pipefitters/Plumbers, Operating Engineers, Electricians, Laborers, Ironworkers, Carpenters, Teamsters, etc.) and placated the white collar unions (teachers, SEIU, State Federal and Municipal workers). How the police and firefighters fall in with this I’m not sure; but in Seattle wokeness wants to trump seniority in layoffs of police now that the “elected” officials want to cut funding to the cops. Time will tell how that works, I suspect not to well.

Everything the left gets ahold of turns to excrement, but somehow their hands are never soiled.

  8. The Left’s spin on the riot, amongst other things, is intriguing. Just the other night I overheard numerous narratives and talking points coming from the MSM: Chris Cuomo saying that the riot that happened on Jan. 6 should live in infamy; another political pundit stating that the Capitol was sacred grounds; two other pundits on CNN who just couldn’t believe some members of Trumps’ cabinet thought that the Wuhan Virus was a hoax (I’m not entirely too sure how accurate that is); and on Youtube numerous MSM talk shows like GMA broadcasting segments entitled “Teen son speaks out after telling FBI about father involved in Capitol riots.” Add in Biden’s executive orders on diversity and equality. The March to a Utopia has continued.

The Left and MSM are acting like the riot was unprecedented, unholy and, weirdly enough, treason on democracy. Or better yet it was a domestic 9/11 in their eyes. And anti-Trumpers say that Trump’s base live in an alternative reality? Gimme a break.

  9. GRA:

Ashli Babbit executed. Capitol Policeman Brian D. Sicknick dies of unspecified causes and from unspecified injuries. Three other people die at the event.

It was – Worse than 9/11/2001. Worse than 12/7/1941. Worse than the Civil War (approx. 700,000 killed). Worse than the British burning the White House in the War of 1812. Even worse that slavery in 1619. Well maybe not that 1619 thing. You can trust the NY Times about that.

I suspect “treason” and “democracy” don’t mean what they say they mean.

  10. This is what would have happened in the 10-day pause for investigation that GOP Senators asked for — and might have gotten if not for the Capitol Incident.
I will not call it a riot or terrorism — it does not meet the criteria for either.
And it was totally counterproductive for the election challengers.
    Cui bono, indeed.

    https://hotair.com/archives/jazz-shaw/2021/01/26/court-virginia-rule-allowed-late-ballots-missing-postmark-illegal/

There’s some fresh news from the “Where Were You in November” department this week. In Virginia, Republicans and Democrats have been continuing a feud in the courts over “emergency rules” passed by the Democrats to allow greater numbers of mail-in ballots to be counted during the last election. One of those changes allowed ballots arriving after election day and without a postage mark indicating when they were mailed to be counted. Now a circuit court judge has ruled that the rule in question violates state statutes and the practice will be banned in the future.

Banned in the future – thanks a lot – unless the Democrats somehow make it legal.
Or get another court to overrule this one.

“So, does this change anything in terms of the 2020 results? The answer is no. The same judge had ruled on October 28th that the rule must be placed on hold while the case proceeded. Therefore, no late ballots without qualifying postmarks were counted.”

At least they don’t have to audit — unless, of course, some of those “held” ballots actually did get counted, or some late-arrivals were, gee, I don’t know, back-dated by the USPS itself before getting delivered.

It’s not that bad, they don’t need to do anything. Just sit and wait.

It’s quite intriguing actually, for those of us that utilize Neural Linguistic Programming.

Buck up, you ain’t dead yet.

Buck up GB, you ain’t Straka yet.

    Oh wait….

    Haha.
