Trump is still working on Middle East peace — 13 Comments

  1. God bless them. The first real progress at peace in the area, and vote fraud here might destroy it.

  2. The Western Left wants peace, the peace of appeasement with a sacrifice of their chosen scapegoats. Once Israel no longer exists and, the “Great Satan” is no more… then the Islamists will have nothing to be angry about, right?

Of course, should the Left get their wish and the Great Satan is no more, then the Chicoms are not likely to be very tolerant of Islam’s ‘shenanigans’. Nuking Mecca, Tehran and Islamabad will definately be ‘on the table’.

  3. There is room for worry, yes. Quite a bit, in fact.

Especially since the Obama / Kerry tag team, along with its confederates (Jewish and otherwise) found it right and proper to cut off Israel at the knees with UN Resolution 2334—a friendly Obama-style “parting shot” as it were; and they would have gone even further (launching a follow-up U.N. resolution requiring Israel to withdraw to the May 1967 cease-fire lines) except, that, as the story goes, once Russia found out about it, it informed the outgoing Obama administration that it would veto it (which meant that there was no reason for Obama to go ahead and publicize this nifty piece of treachery).

According to some, it was actually Flynn who, in his talks with Kislyak, may have persuaded the latter that voting for such a resolution would not be conducive to the cooperation that the incoming administration was anxious to pursue with Russia; and that because of Flynn’s persuasiveness, or partially because of it, Obama’s animus towards Flynn ratcheted up beyond the former’s already solid detestation—or should that be fear?—of the latter.)

And of course there’s always the tremendous admiration that Obama / Kerry / Jarrett have for the Islamic “Republic”, which underpinned their desire to pursue the alliance that we already saw in Obama, Part 1.

  4. Thinking of various folks I know who, although not having an oversupply of mean bones, would without hesitation or any actual self-deception, call war peace if things get bad in the MENA on Biden’s watch.

  5. The first step was to deny funding to the terrorist State under color of agreement. The second step was to negotiate reconciliation to establish firewalls to mitigate progress. Unfortunately, social justice adventurism (e.g. elective conflicts, wars without borders) is always just one administration away.

  6. What a great man!

Neo: I’m trying to find the cert petition in the PA S. Ct case. SCOTUS isn’t on Pacer!

Would you write a post on it if you find it?

  7. Good for you, Mr. President.

To paraphrase Winston Churchill: Some lame… some duck!

  8. Cornhead:

All I can say at this point is “maybe,” since I haven’t seen it or read much about it.

  9. I guess it all depends on when Biden’s dog is put down.

The Saudi Crown Prince has “retired” the Corruptocrat playmates and most of the Wahabis are enjoying the Syrian sand, no one likes the Turks, Russia really, really likes their new warm water port, and the nuc “scientist” hit suggests that the Bearded Ladies will be having trouble at home, so if the Progressive coup succeeds, the Leftists may not have too many opportunities to screw up the Mid-East. It will take time to end fracking and drive up the price of oil to finance Iran and Putin-land.

I’m more concerned about what they will do to America. I’ve seen Detroit, Chicago, Newark, Baltimore, etc. With their friends in the CCP, they can really make a mess. That concern makes, “Unleash the Kraken!” seem a lot more reasonable.
