Another horrific terrorist attack — 10 Comments

  1. “So, if {Islamist terrorists murder random people} “a black person attacks a police officer”, and the government cracks down on the organizations that foster that sort of thing, that’s {a phobia} “racsim”? Hardly. But the {terrorist world} “Leftists” and the {countries} “governors and mayors” that support it have found it very effective to cry {Phobia!! Bigotry} “Rascism!! White Supremacy!!” and thus to play on {Westerners’} “American’s” kindness, tolerance, and feelings of guilt.

    FIFY

  2. The former PM of Malaysia tweeted that “Muslims have a right to be angry and to kill millions of French people.” Twitter apparently deleted the tweet, but his account is still active. The accusation of “Islamophobia” frequently made by Muslims and by their leftist Western (secular) sympathizers is intended to delegitimize any criticism of Islam or of the behavior of Muslim immigrants to Europe by implying that such criticism derives solely from irrational bigotry and has nothing whatsoever to do with the actual behavior of Muslim immigrants (nor is this solely a matter of terrorism, but also of multitudinous sexual assaults on European women, many shockingly young).

  3. The former PM of Malaysia tweeted that “Muslims have a right to be angry and to kill millions of French people.”

The guy is 95 years old. Dementia isn’t pretty.

  4. France is a largely an areligious, secular country in which the burned Notre Dame cathedral has value for attracting tourists, but is not a place of worship.
I applaud Macron for challenging Islam. Erdogan and Iran can go straight to Hades. Forever. But there are millions of Muzzies in Western Europe now.

If the shoe were on the other foot, the Islamic decree would be “Convert, or die”, which is what made Muslim conversion of Spain to al-Andalusia possible, along with most of the Mediterranean basin.
As it is we weep about “terrorism” but do not engage in cleansing. It will not turn out well. The West is slowly but definitely suicidal. I do not like being hoisted on someone else’s petard.

  5. Art+Deco,

That’s not dementia. That’s straight out of the Qur’an and repeated over a 100 times.

    Cicero,

Macron is not challenging Islam. Macron is declaring intolerance for “radical” Islam. Despite Erdogan’s prior clarification; “There is no moderate Islam. There is only Islam”, Macron still tells himself that there is a moderate Islam that can honor Islam’s basic tenets will also honoring France’s secular principles. As we all know, this is known as cognitive dissonance.

  6. France can’t honor its secular ‘principles’ and deport its Muslim population for the French cannot remain French if they do today what they must, they will repeatedly appease.

As Muslims have a much higher birthrate, not to mention immigrant migration through other EU countries, combined with an aging native French pop. the Muslim percentage will continue to grow.

Nor will France impose control over France’s no-go zones, so the cancer will continue to metastasize.

Currently, the Muslim pop. comprises about 10%. In a bit less than another decade it will be at about 20%. That’s when formal approval for Sharia law in Muslim enclaves will become an appeasement to deter widespread Muslim violence.

Somewhere in the 2030s the Muslim pop. will grow beyond 30% and that’s when France will begin to enter history’s dustbin.

Mark Steyn was right, demographics is destiny. Especially when willful blindness reins supreme.

  7. Ca. Mid 1993 I went through Lowu Immigration early one weekday morning on a day trip to Shenzhen. As one always did back in the day when visiting what was then a bit of a Wild West Frontier Town, first stop just across the border was the Shenzhen Shangri-la Hotel for a proper English Breakfast.

Emerged sated from the coffee shop an hour or so later into a lobby full of security types and a red carpet lined with A-grade Hospitality Tarts in their qipaos, each loaded down with a basket of flower petals. Noticed the forecourt now had a motorcade set to go. Couldn’t leave, didn’t need to see another poached egg for a week or so, so lurked in the background.

After a suitably pregnant pause, an elevator chimed and out strolled a very satisfied looking Mahathir Muhammed with his trademark Cheshire Cat grin and garbed in his trademark safari suit. Dude oozed along red carpet through a cloud of gracefully chucked flower petals, hopped into his limo and zoomed off out of my life.

Had anyone told back then me that he’d have been Malaysian PM in early 2020, I guess would have been sceptical to say the least.

  8. Only violence with greater power stops aggressive violence.

The West needs to rebalance its carrots & sticks incentives – more positive for assimilation, much less for non-assimilation. Stop welfare/ gov’t support for those who refuse to learn the local language (whether French, German, English, or Slovak (napriek ze je to taske) [in spite of it being hard]).

It’s a reasonably good step to not punish poor immigrants when they arrive, but rewarding them for being lazy / choosing not to learn how to fit in, such coddling is what creates the no-go zones.

And yes, wherever they are violating the law as written, they should be arrested and prosecuted. Tho, if all the nearby potential witnesses are Muslim, and refuse to testify against a Muslim criminal, the criminal won’t be found guilty by the court. False-negative (guilty not-punished).

Similarly, if a Muslim does complain and is then murdered by other Muslims, in an honor killing or not, if the other Muslims accept it, it won’t be punished. The French and other Europeans need to find ways to punish Muslim criminals. But they don’t always know how*, yet — and it might well be too late before they do.

I hope not. Europe is actually a pretty nice place, mostly. (You all should visit!)

*well, the Chinese example of cameras everywhere and becoming a surveillance state might solve this problem, but it comes with other problems. If a better solution isn’t found, don’t be surprised as more folk support more cameras.
