Voting fraud confession in Philadelphia — 19 Comments

  1. I have a vague recollection (nearly all my recollections are vague these days) that Philadelphia had one precinct with a 108% turnout in 2016. Since average turnout in general elections is around 50-60%, this sounds like some big time vote fraud.

  2. Only $5,000 bucks?

    Now THAT’s a bargain!

(Must have been a labor of love…)

Wonder, though, if he ever declared it. Hey, let’s ask Lois Lerner….

  3. We had a vote fraud case in NC, with absentee ballot harvesting, which oddly enough was perpetrated by a Republican operative and resulted in a Congressional election being run a second time. I strongly suspect (without evidence, I confess) that the guy was just copying well-known Democrat procedures. Now Democrats here are using the coronavirus to push for more voting by mail and a relaxation of the absentee ballot procedures. And look at the ballot harvesting in Orange County, CA, in 2018.

  4. You would think that, in a democracy, making sure that only actual citizens–only legitimate voters–vote (and vote just once), would be a top priority.

However, I’ve only seen a couple of news stories over the last couple of years about people in a couple of different States actually being prosecuted for voting fraud and–the tone of these stories, and the penalties being discussed made me think that ferreting out such voter fraud is a very low priority and that, when found, the culprits are only very rarely or vigorously prosecuted, and when actually prosecuted, just given a slap on the wrist.

Perhaps most law enforcement officials have fooled themselves into believing the Left’s “narrative,” that voter fraud–sufficient to change an election–is not a major problem, is actually very rare or, perhaps, they are quite happy to look the other way when voter fraud benefits their Party–see George Soros’ “Secretary of State Project.”

My impression, however, is that there is rampant voter fraud all over our country–mostly perpetrated by Democrats–and that such voter fraud has swung many an election–see, for instance, Al Franken’s very suspicious Senate win in Minnesota.

Not a good thing for the survival of our democratic Republic.

  5. Paper Ballots and Purple Ink. What a simple and effective solution. Write your Congressmen.

  6. I’m from Philadelphia. Why does Philadelphia have the largest zombie population in the country? Because in Philadelphia, the dead can vote! You know what we say about elections in Philadelphia? Vote early, and vote often! You know why elections in Philadelphia are always won by Democrats? Because they count the votes!

  7. Kate,
A Republican in NC is found guilty of voter fraud and… it’s the Democrat’s fault? Not the best defense.

Mail in voting has been done for years. Five states regularly conduct mail elections by default: Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Utah and Washington. Many allow absentee voting and of course members of the military vote by mail. Trump himself has voted by mail. Of course, he literally just said; “Now if somebody has to mail it in because they’re sick,” Trump told reporters, “or, by the way, because they live in the White House and they have to vote in Florida and they won’t be in Florida, if there’s a reason for it, that’s okay.”
    LOL.
Okay. Good enough for me but not for thee.

  8. Montage:

Funny how mail in ballot mysteriously appear when needed for democrats in WA. Never happens in CA I’m sure. And then there have been delays and irregularities for military ballots, Nothing to see. Nothing to prove. LOL Ballot Harvesting? Pure as driven snow. LOL. You are a funny guy.

“It’s not who votes that counts, it who that counts the votes.” J.I. Stalin IIRC

  9. Breaking news — one of these things is not like the others, though.

“For two days in a row now, the Republican National Committee has provided evidence of potential voter fraud across the country. Democrats continue to push for mass mail-in voting, even in coronavirus relief legislation, but problems with that system are popping up in several states. The latest flub is regarding the June 9 South Carolina primary. On Thursday Baltimore media reported that at least 20 ballots from Charleston County, South Carolina somehow ended up mixed in with mail intended for Baltimore.”

“Paxton clearly wants regulations followed when it comes to mail-in ballots. The problem has been discovered over the years, with people even confessing to manipulating mail-in ballots in Texas specifically. In fact, a bipartisan consensus has been reached that mail-in ballots contain the largest risk of voter fraud according to ProPublica:”

“Disturbing news is coming out of Oregon, as hundreds of people are reporting that their voter registration was switched from Republican to non affiliated without their knowledge or permission.

Oregon is entirely vote-by-mail, and ballots were sent out in the last week of April, and due this Tuesday at 8:00 PM. Many were shocked to open their ballot to find that they were no longer with the party they thought they were with, and they received non partisan ballots. As Oregon is a closed primary state, this effectively denies these people the right to vote in the party’s primary that they thought they were registered as.”

(Kicker: people who checked ahead of time and restored their desired party affiliation discovered that they had been switched back to the wrong one again; for some people this happened multiple times.)

“Because the state has been under a “Stay at Home” order since March 19, Gov. Gavin Newsom ordered that every voter in the affected areas be mailed a ballot instead of only mailing them to voters registered as “permanent vote by mail” or who requested a mail ballot.

Normally this would be a boon for Democrats because there are so many more ballots out there to be harvested, legally or illegally. In the days of “Stay at Home” orders, though, is the profession of “ballot harvester” considered essential or non-essential?”

(Three guesses what Newsom will answer.)

Exit question, to coin a phrase: Did the consultant who paid the election official receive any penalty, or is such bribery considered an abuse but not a crime?

  10. Montage, I didn’t say it was the Democrats’ fault. The guy did it, it was illegal, and he was prosecuted. But shenanigans with absentee ballots have been ongoing, and Democrats are now trying, but probably failing, to get the legislature to relax laws covering how ballots may be requested, filled out, witnessed, and returned. Fortunately, although we have a Democrat governor, thanks to 90,000 votes which surfaced late on election night in heavily Dem Durham County, we still have a Republican legislature.

  11. Kate,
It is possible that the Democrats simply want more people to be able to vote without having to stand in line with a mask and worry about getting the virus. I’m all for in person voting but absentee and mail in voting is not new.
In those five states “the government automatically mails a ballot to every registered voter, and voters have about two weeks to mail the ballot back, or they can drop it off in person by election day.”
Someone potentially could hide ballots but that could happen with either party. And even in person voting can be problematic. If someone wants to screw the system it can happen but we can’t safeguard ourselves to the point that voting becomes harder than – say – dealing with the DMV.

I want more people voting not because it means Democrats will win but because our government is then a truer reflection of our society. 55 to 60% of eligible voters turning up to vote is frankly an embarrassment.

  12. Montage:

Keep the laugh lines coming. You referred to the DMV; ever hear of “motor voter” laws? Where you are automatically put on the voter roles when you get your driver’s license? You don’t have to be a citizen to get a license. Oopsie! And of course verification of citizenship is frowned upon if not illegal. Funny that. I guess there may be an advantage for an non-citizens not to have driver’s licenses after all. Just another law to ignore. No license, no insurance, no vote! LOL!

Now people voting multiple times in different states, NY and FL for example, that may help reach your goal of more votes being cast. That was you goal wasn’t it?

You are a treasure, always looking out for the good of the country. Not sure it is this country though.

  13. In what we might call crack-brained Stacy Abraham’s Chutzpah Universe (ya know, the one where the kid who murders his parents asks the court for leniency because he is now an orphan)–a Universe where black is white, up is down, and left is right–she is lamenting the fact that aliens who illegally snuck into our country cannot vote, i.e. in her words, “are no longer able to elect anyone who represents them.”

My simple solution is for these illegal aliens to go back to their countries of origin, so that they can again legally “vote for someone to “represent them.””

    See https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/05/stacey-abrams-lashes-white-voting-base-laments-illegal-aliens-no-longer-able-elect-anyone-represents-video/

  14. Knew a woman who moved to CA for work. She needed either a birth cert or a passport to get a CA driver license. He friends said she should get a good tan and fake a lower-class Hispanic accent and she could get by without paperwork.

  15. Trum is calling attention to voter fraud. So that conservatives and those here that think they can ignore voter fraud, won’t be able to.

  16. I’m an election official, which means I work (for very low pay) at my local voting place running the election according to state laws. We have to account for every ballot we issue to voters (paper ballots). The reason is that all voters should know their votes will be counted equally with every other voter. Each voter gets one and only one ballot. The idea of ballots being mailed, unrequested, all over the state is a ballot control horror show. Any voter in my state can request an absentee ballot. It will be mailed to the voter’s address of record, and must be returned in the provided sealed envelope with the signatures of two witnesses on the outside of the envelope. Those who fear going to the polling place can easily do this.

And, of course, Wisconsin had a primary election with significant turnout in the height of the coronavirus scare without a virus spike afterwards. People wore masks, didn’t crowd, and nothing awful happened.

  17. “a ballot control horror show.”

For certain interested parties, that is indeed a feature and not a bug.
