Boris Johnson tests positive for COVID-19
It stands to reason that people who have a great deal of contact with the public and staff, as well as dignitaries from other countries, would be at greater risk for contracting the virus. Still, it’s shocking to hear that British PM Boris Johnson has tested positive. He is in isolation and reports mild symptoms.
Hope he makes a speedy and uneventful recovery.
I did a quick search engine perusal and while I could find some famous folks who got H1N1 in 2009, I couldn’t find any world or political leaders. Yet we’ve had several like that this time. I wonder if it says something about how much more connection there is between China and American elites.
