Merry Christmas! (another golden oldie from the neo archives)
On Christmas Day—blog?
I’d rather have grog,
Or maybe eggnog,
Then go walk the dog.
Or watch a Yule Log,
And eat like a hog,
Then go for a jog.
Blogging’s a bog.
My mind’s in a fog,
Or maybe agog
From much dialogue.
I’ll return to the slog
Tomorrow, and blog.
And Happy Chanukah!
[NOTE: On the words “the dog,” that’s a picture of the dog we had when my son was little.]
Thank you for your blog and happy Christmas!
I attended Christmas Eve Mass, and it was visually, musically and spiritually glorious. Chorus, vocal soloist, string ensemble, organ playing to a packed house. One need not be Catholic or Christian to attend and appreciate the joyous ceremony, though it helps.
Having eggnog as I read. Joining the kids and grandkids later today for dinner. They are seeing the new Star Wars movie, which we took a pass on.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah, everyone!
What a treat! Thank you, Neo. :>)))
.
Cicero, I wish I could have been there with you. I am glad you went, and enjoyed the occasion and the music. Were you treated to the entire first movement of The Messiah ? :>))) And not just the “H. Chorus,” either!
