  1. “You know you’re over the target when you’re taking flak”.

Also, A lot of people should probably start their cars via remote control … stay tuned for a rash of suicides and bizarre accidents. Scary times.

  2. Judging from the apparently wide-spread and constant “Resistance” within our Federal government to President Trump and his agenda, the apparently deliberate blockage or “slow rolling” of steps that the President has ordered to take place, my impression is that the Federal government is essentially just one big passive-aggressive “Resistance ” machine, and that there are so many Leftists/Obama partisans in key positions in our government that, progress for any aspect of President Trump’s agenda will be extremely difficult to attain.

Just look at all of the Trump appointees who we were assured were top notch people, people who, I am sure, looked him in the eye and assured President Trump that they were all on board with his agenda but who, after their appointments, turned out to be individuals who were obstructing his agenda, or who were his flat out enemies.

It appears that this Resistance is particularly strong in our Intelligence Community, the person of the DNI, the DOJ, FBI, and State department, and probably a lot of other Departments and Agencies whose Resistance just hasn’t come to light yet.

Many of us have probably seen Sundance’s list of key Federal documents—currently classified–that need to be released so that the coup d’etat can be exposed and understood; documents that the President ordered released months ago.

Yet, these documents have not been released.

It appears that all of these centers of Resistance have been doing their best to put up objections and roadblocks to this declassification and release, and DNI Coates was apparently one of the key blockers.

Replacing the DNI may help move this release along.

But, I would expect that the new DNI, Rep. John Ratcliffe, will also be met with a wall of Resistance.

That Ratcliffe, a lawyer, former U.S. Attorney, and Federal prosecuter, does not apparently have any formal Intelligence experience will make his job that much harder, and will give his opponents a decided advantage.

  3. Snow on Pine,

You are spot on about the deep penetration of “The Resistance” in our government.
It even penetrated the military — remember the wholesale removal of effective personnel, right down to the noncommisioned officer level in the army and navy?

The blow flies have burrowed deep into our government.

  4. Nothing will happen. Told my wife that over 2 yrs ago and it is still true today. Wonder why we are angry? That’s why.

  5. Edward, I’ve noticed that also. I’ll try your new source for awhile..thanks.

  6. agreed Edward… they enter and carve things out from the inside, and our laws against discrimination and so on, are also laws the prevent a person from ejecting such persons…

Since Russia is back on the menu can we add this?

Georg Steinhauser of Leibniz University in Hanover, Germany, said that more than 1,300 atmospheric measurements from around the world showed that between 250 and 400 terabecquerels of radioactive ruthenium-106 had been released during that time.

the resulting cloud of nuclear radiation was diluted enough that it caused no harm to people beneath it, the total radioactivity was between 30 and 100 times the level of radiation released after the Fukushima accident in Japan in 2011, Steinhauser told Live Science.

Russia confirmed that a cloud of nuclear radiation was detected over the Urals at the time, but the country never acknowledged any responsibility for a radiation leak, nor has it ever admitted that a nuclear accident took place at Mayak in 2017.

  7. I removed drudge from my bookmarks early in 2017 when I noticed a not very subtle shift to the soft left. I have no idea why this shift happened, perhaps he has issues with djt. What I don’t need is a ‘news’ aggregator that is drifting left. Neo, Maggie’s farm, and small dead animals are my choices. For Europe there is voices of Europe. For the UK I visit Melanie Phillips. I use roku to stream entertainment. Broadcast news is for frying brain cells. I do watch Tucker Carlson on YouTube because I like his style.

  8. Hell, the anti-American forces in the federal gov’t go back decades! Especially in DOS.
Remember Senator McCarthy? He may have been an alcoholic, his methods and manners were surely not above reproach, but his concerns and facts were correct.
I refer you to an enlightening tome, “Blacklisted by History”, by Stanton Evans, 2007. Guess who came up with the epithet, McCarthyism: a Democrat Maryland Senator Tydings, at the early time (ca. 1953) when McCarthy was merely trying to get the Senate to investigate rumors of rats in State.

Nothing can be done to rid ourselves of the enemy within unless we seriously re-define the Civil Service Code.

  9. Parker,

Tucker is GREAT! You might also try One America News (OAN) network if it is available for you. I have also noticed a leftward drift on Fox News (I DVR all the channels and then swiftly speed through the lefty when they waste time debating him/her/it). The Five is excellent whenever Juan is not there, but speeding through his recitation of the democrat talking points that he received that day also works.

  10. Oh, and will I be labeled a Nazi if I state that there are a lot of big city governments INFESTED with corrupt democrats? Is that a word that is now banished from the dictionary?

  11. Edward,

I do checkout OAN from time to time. Yes, Tucker is my kind of journalist. He doesn’t back down, but remains calm when dealing with the people he interviews. I really enjoy his purposeful facial expressions that quietly say “I can’t believe you believe this nonsense.” Pence/Carlson 2024. 😉

  12. Edward,

You will be labeled a Nazi. It is a signal from the left that you are the one speaking truth to justice.

  13. Snow:

Although Ratcliffe “does not apparently have any formal Intelligence experience” I do not think that will make his job harder. I say that because I think Ratcliffe’s real job is to break up the logjam that is preventing the release of classified information. Sundance detailed the many intricate hurdles that stand in the way of such release, and Dan Coates seems to have been the primary one.

  14. I think the big thing to watch for is if someone in the government can figure out who was handling Joseph Mifsud for the British and American governments. I mean, everyone else run at Papadopoulos and Page were western agents, so I think if vanishingly unlikely that Mifsud was any different. If Crossfire Hurricane was the result of a western intelligence agency operation to create CH’s predicate, then you have an actual and serious crime.

  15. “That Ratcliffe, a lawyer, former U.S. Attorney, and Federal prosecuter, does not apparently have any formal Intelligence experience will make his job that much harder, and will give his opponents a decided advantage.” Snow on Pine

His first job should be finding someone who does have the experience he lacks (preferably another ‘Deep Throat’) to advise him.

    “Nothing will happen.” Lynn Hargrove

I’m somewhat doubtful too, at best a few scapegoats will be thrown under the bus. The rest will hunker down until Trump is gone. And, at that point only “politics by other means” will remain.

All; besides whatfinger, there is also Citizen Free Press and PolitiPage. I’ll check out Maggie’s Farm, and “Small dead animals”.

Melanie Phillips like Nigel Farage has a huge blind spot. Her coverage of Tommy Robinson demonstrates that to be so.

  16. GB,
Trump could have boarded AF1 to Heathrow, demanded to receive Tommy Robinson and grant him asylum. Trump has little respect for protocol, but he ignored TR’s call for help. Trump has a bigger stick than Philips and Farage. He choose not to use it. Why I don’t know. Seemed like a win-win to me.

  17. I removed drudge from my bookmarks early in 2017 when I noticed a not very subtle shift to the soft left.\
It is one of Conquest’s laws.
    Conquests’s Three Laws of Politics:
    1. Everyone is conservative about what he knows best.
    2. Any organization not explicitly right-wing sooner or later becomes left wing.. The simplest way to explain the behavior of any bureaucratic organization is to assume that it is controlled by a cabal of its enemies .

    — Robert Conquest.

The same thing happened to Little Green Footballs.

  18. Russia confirmed that a cloud of nuclear radiation was detected over the Urals at the time, but the country never acknowledged any responsibility for a radiation leak, nor has it ever admitted that a nuclear accident took place at Mayak in 2017.

Artfldgr: I thought your quote was confused on dates, but no, there was a big accident at Mayak in 2017. Thing was I remembered a big accident at Mayak in 1957. As a Nuclear Freeze activist I kept track of these things.

The Soviets had warning signs on the roads leading into the area which said, detour now, but if you must use this road, roll up your windows and drive fast!

In 1957 (only three years after the official start of the Russian nuclear program), a serious nuclear explosion occurred at the Mayak nuclear fuel reprocessing plant.

The site was located about 93 miles north-west of the city. Thousands of square miles were contaminated by the accident, causing the province to be completely closed to all foreigners until 1992..

  19. Has anyone heard the latest left-wing meme? Mitch McConnell is a pawn of Vladimir Putin.

Now I hear this, and I have zero interest in investigating it. And I haven’t. Or possibly this is an older recycled meme that I missed the first time around?

The thing that comes to mind is that Mitch was one of the key actors in the original “resistance” to Obama’s transformation of America. Remember Merrick Garland? So, payback would be a factor.

  20. TommyJay: “Now I hear this, and I have zero interest in investigating it.”

The reason is that McConnell is holding up a bill, that’s supposed to protect our elections from foreign interference, that was passed by the House. So, the inference is that he’s in Vlad’s pocket. That he doesn’t want to protect elections from foreign interference because……RUSSIA!The Dems can take any miscellaneous fact and turn it into a conspiracy, a plot, or even treason. They interpret words differently to create new meanings related to the their belief that Vlad helped Trump get elected.
