“He did it!” “No, HE did it!”
Now boys, stop squabbling.
Comey and Brennan are like two perps being questioned about a possible felony murder, each naming the other as the triggerman:
A potential rift is emerging between James Comey and John Brennan over who pushed to include information from the unverified Steele dossier in an intelligence community assessment of Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Comey, a former FBI director, sent an email to subordinates in late 2016 indicating Brennan, a former CIA director, wanted to include materials from the dossier in the intelligence community assessment, known as the ICA, Fox News reported.
Proactive CYA by Comey?
A former CIA official speaking on Brennan’s behalf is disputing the assertion. The former official told Fox that Brennan and James Clapper, a former director of national intelligence, opposed Comey’s push to include Steele dossier information in the ICA.
The dispute pits two former intelligence community officials against each other…
Lock them all up.
Together.
In restraints.
Compelled to listen to loudspeaker recitations of Vogon poetry 13 hrs/day.
Rats ratting out rats.
Let’s you & him fight.
This is the standard “the other dude did it” ploy that Judge Judy so often encountered.
Since one of them has to be lying, and both probably are, that doesn’t speak well about the credibility of any of their testimony and/or unsworn ramblings about, well, pretty much everything.
I think Comey, Brennan, and Clapper all have a good chance of being indicted by a grand jury. If so, Las Vegas will make odds on which one squells first. Oh, I hope Comey gets jail time, and his legal fees burn through the millions earned from his book sales, speaking fees, and the money he makes for being a talking head on the msm.
“…a good chance…”
Might one wonder what will happen to those who gave them their orders?
All one needs to know is upon whose desk the buck stops.
Nothing was done without the absolute certainty that it would meet with Obama’s approval.
I hope they both lose.
What Kate said.
Clapper and Brennan have not survived this long in the spy game without being able to tap dance. Watch Comey fall first. He’s the rube at the table…all noble & honourable & deep thinker…blech. The other 2…dirty pool players.
Comey first. Then a few underlings…
While I agree the messiah approved of this keystone cops conspiracy, like a mafia don there are several layers of protection The likes of Comey and crew know the consequences of pointing fingers up the chain are dire. Lips will be sealed after pleading the 5th.
parker…serious question ‘cos I’m of two minds on it…
You think Comey will keep his mouth shut?
Brennan & Clapper…will rage at Trump but say nothing else…just the 5th. But Comey? That ego?
Indictments? I don’t yet see them, but the squealing sure sounds like some of the bad cops are about to get really caught.
McCabe will be first, not yet a top dawg.
Then Comey. Comey signed the FISA app.
Then Brennon? I’d guess the dirty spies are bad cops but very professional at CYA.
Lock Them Up — it’s not too late to go back and go after Clinton and illegal emails. The illegal cover up of her crimes is really what started this mess. Her desire to hide from FOIA scrutiny. I still think Trump’s biggest mistake so far was not to push to prosecute more, but I can understand and forgive it if he thought, like Andrew McCarthy thought, that the cops were fairly clean.
They are dirty cops. Not clear that Wray at FBI can find any cops clean enough to clean up the mess. I’d guess Barr is finding some clean enough guys, tho is also still having problems.

New stories at RedState this morning about revelations from the Kavalec Memoes, indicating that the FBI (Comey) should have known from the beginning that Steele’s intel was almost certainly false.

Indeed.
Is Barr an aficionado of Game Theory, do you suppose?
