Nope, no emergency at all — 6 Comments

  1. The USA is facing an ongoing hostile invasion. We are not repealing this invasion with military force because the left welcomes it and the right lacks intestinal fortitude.

  2. the right lacks intestinal fortitude

Many on the right are on board. The center, well… prudence, indeed, will dictate. Thus is the American character.

  3. Sorry, neo. I’m still trying to figure out firefox. Good advice though even if ou you come to regret it. The browser seems to have been the problem. Problem solved, new capability to speak unpleasant truths to those who want to speak pleasant lies.

  4. parker on, I am receiving but not understanding. working from personal *knowledge every ship in the fleet and every Marine Corps Regiment is fueled by intestinal fortitude.

    Please advise, over.

*perhaps my USA, USCG, and USAF brothers and sisters can weigh in on the question of intestinal fortitude.

  5. https://libertyunyielding.com/2019/03/21/obama-appointed-judge-illegal-who-used-fake-documents-to-get-drivers-license-didnt-break-law/

This must be what Obama meant when he said early in his presidency that judicial appointments should use “empathy” as a guiding principle in administering the law. U.S. District Judge Beth Bloom, one of Obama appointees, proved herself to be a worthy disciple earlier this month when she tossed out criminal charges brought against Rubman Ardon Chinchilla, an illegal alien who had use a phony immigration document to obtain a Florida driver’s license. What were Bloom’s grounds for dismissing the charges? That Chinchilla has three kids and has been living in the U.S. for decades.

There are better ways to change the law than simply by not enforcing it, especially the parts that would get a CITIZEN fined or jailed.

It occurred to me (finally?) that the Left and Dems and even some Conservatives (the Compassionate ones-TM) all see themselves as the priest in “Les Mis” saving the unfairly oppressed Jean Valjean (he was) from the evil (he wasn’t) Inspector Javert.

Except that there was only one each of those int he novel.
If the parish & diocese had encountered 20-1000 escaped convicts daily, maybe they would not have been so profligate with the church’s silver.

And of course, it would have been a different story altogether if Valjean had clubbed the priest over the head, raped the housekeeper, cleaned out the silver that wasn’t gifted to him and everything else, and gone on to lead a life of crime, instead of repenting and improving.
