I have been following thie ‘collusion conspiracy’ and the only collusion I see is between DNC/Hillary/Comey et al to squelch the investigation of HRC’s criminal use of an unsecured server and destruction of evidence that was pertinent to that crime.
Comey reminds me of all those cartoonish bad guys from the old Batman or Bond series…they just keep talking while they have the hero about to die & end up talking so long the hero gets away.
Comey’s hubris is going to have him talking himself into an indictment. Or at least I certainly hope so.
John, do you know the board game “Before I kill you Mr. Bond” — it was withdrawn some years ago for trademark infringement and reissued as “Before I kill you Mr Spy — but playing it was hilarious —
“Players took the roles of supervillains in a spy movie, capturing superspies (including “Mr. Bond”) and taunting them. Other players can foil the taunts by playing another taunt with a letter that corresponds to the first taunt. If this happens, the superspy escapes and destroys the fortress of the player attempting to kill him.”
We won’t see any changes until lying to the public and Congress carries at least as much punishment as lying to the FBI.
After all, we have the transcripts and videos, which they don’t.
Oops – you got me monologing again.
“Comey’s memos were written from January to April 2017. By May 3, Comey admits that he had already written the memos as a type of insurance against a move by Trump against him. However, he leaked the memos a week after he swore that he never leaked or authorized anyone to leak or declassified material to leak. It was like waiting for Monday to have an affair so you could go to confession on Sunday with a clear conscience. At best, just a week now likely stands between Comey being a leaker or a perjurer. That is hardly a comfortable margin for someone teaching “ethical leadership” by example.”
AesopFan…nope…that’s one I never encountered, but sounds fun…especially if you’ve been drinking. 😉
But your observation is spot on…Nothing is going to change until the incentive to lie & work only for self-interest is removed harshly & immediately. Comey & a few others need to see the inside of a jail cell.
I wonder if some sort of miracle will occur: that Comey will, inadvertently, come to the rescue by forcing, through his own incoherent venality, the whole farce to implode.
Wouldn’t want to bet on it, though.
Still, the people who are doing this deserve to get their comeuppance either in a court of law or in the elections.
Or both.
HRC will be in jail when Trum is President.
If that doesn’t happen, obviously Trum is not the President.
