Far left and far right
This makes sense:
The Nazis and White Supremacists as one faction and the Antifa and Black Lives Matter as the other faction are two sides of the same coin. Expressing this is what has gotten the president in trouble with the politically correct media and their dupes. His point is that too many are are purposefully ignoring the real meaning of the other equally dangerous set of thugs who have caused violence in Portland, Berkeley, Ferguson, Evergreen College and at least half of the problem in Charlottesville. If the Nazis are the spawn of Hitler, then Antifa and BLM are the spawn of Lenin and Stalin. The late twenties and early thirties in the Weimar Republic saw riots and pitched battles between those same factions in most German cities. For whatever reason the media will not talk about the similarity between Charlottesville and Altona (riots in Hamburg that left 19 dead). The only difference between these two sides is that one is national socialism (nazi) and the other is international socialism (communists). That, and the identity groups they are pandering to are the only difference and that’s why they vie for similar disaffected losers and why they hate each other so much.
Well, they hate each other so much for more reasons than that. But the basic points stand, I think.
Somewhat related is this discussion from just a little while ago.
I have had many a leftists claim the truth (what the video and eyewitness’ are reporting) is nothing more than blind partisanship on the part of the right. To that argument there can be no answer, and all the evidence becomes irrelevant. That is the problem.
The fundamental law of every genuine science is the postulate that the pattern of what happens in the future will probably resemble that of what has been observed in the past. White pride, neo-Nazi’s and their like have been part of the scene for a long time and generally at the very fringe of the political spectrum and mostly ignored however; the black shirt thugs of the left are new to the scene. They are new yet not new and not fringe. We’ve seen many different iterations from OWS to Nation of Islam to Black Panthers, Weather Underground, SDS, et-al and now antifa all with the support of the DNC and
the media..
I have seen this quote going around that is being attributed to Churchill, but there are those on the left discrediting the link to Churchill as the author, but not the quote itself. Interesting. It goes like this:
“The fascists of the future will be called anti-fascists (ANTIFA)” — Winston Churchill
So, the present is resembling the past as it always does.
It doesn’t matter. Forget everything that happened anywhere at any time in history before that car slammed into the crowd in Charlottesville. That is the new starting point for all of human history.
Already we have people in the media calling the Islamic terrorism in Barcelona today a “copycat” attack of Charlottesville.
The media is defending terrorism by claiming that this is a copycat attack of Charlottesville. Remember it is the left who wrote the rule on how pointing out there are bad people on the other side is equivalent to defending bad elements on your side.
After posting here for months I begin to sense that my English is finally improving. I am beginning to develop a sense of properly using tenses and prepositions to illustrate sequences of actions. Perhaps to native speaker my english is still very poor but I am beginning to be able to form grammatically correct sentences without as effort as I needed just merely weeks ago. The frustration is finally fading after struggling with English writing for so many years.
Dave:
Your English is a LOT better than “very poor.” Glad to be of help with it! English is a hard language, I think. I’m glad to be a native speaker, because I doubt I’d do well learning English as a second language.
As I have pointed out before, the Communists, Fascists and Nazis were all socialists and naturally they all hated each other because of doctrinal differences. It’s like all the Protestant sects that used to go to war over doctrine. Look up the thirty years war.
Ray,
They were each also after power.
“The only difference between these two sides is that one is national socialism (nazi) and the other is international socialism (communists).” Yaacov Ben Moshe
In their use of force and coercion they are two sides of the same coin but the difference between “National” and “International” socialism is otherwise distinctive and profound.
National” socialism posits that, “our tribe will smash everyone else and we’ll come out on top”… forever.
Whereas, “International” socialism posits that the necessary erasure of human nature through the creation of ‘New Men’ can achieve universal harmony and the end of tribalism/nationalism… forever.
Both are Utopian and totalitarian. One tribal and the other, a collective that abhors individualism, at any level. Each seeks total power to implement its vision.
How did the KKK garbage latched on the republicans exactly? any suggestion of good sites i can read up on that?
Dave,
You are getting better. In the spirit of constructive criticism, let me offer:
“After posting here for months I [am] begin[ning] to sense that my English is finally improving. I am beginning to develop a sense of properly using tenses and prepositions to illustrate sequences of actions. Perhaps to [a] native speaker[,] my [E]
english is still very poor but I am beginning to be able to form grammatically correct sentences without as [much] effort as I needed just merely [“just” & “merely” are repetitive, one or the other is all that is needed] weeks ago. The frustration is finally fading after struggling with [writing] Englishwritingfor so many years.”Now, take what I offer with a grain of salt. As others here have rightly pointed out, even as a native speaker, my grammar is decidedly less than perfect!
BLM is a Soros Nation of Islam hybrid creature.
The reason why American patriots are losing, is because of the many reasons why, the singularly important one is that they choose to selectively and over focusing on the issue of political allegiances.
Political allegiances do not matter to evil. If they could buy Washington and Lee, and turn them into those that fight for tyrants, they would have.
In Tyranny of Cliches, Jonah Goldberg puts out that the worst of enemies are more a like than different. The Palestinians and the Israeli’s probably have more in common with each other than anyone in Europe or American.
Thank you very much, I would love to have someone proofreading my writings so I can learn from my mistakes. English grammar is all over the place, why sometimes you can omit an article? is it because in some cases a word is countable while in others it is uncountable? A chicken is walking vs I ate Chicken for dinner tonight.
Matthew,
Did Jonah Goldberg actually suggest that the Israelis and Palestinians have much in common? Got a link?
Dave,
My understanding is that English and Mandarin are the hardest languages for an adult to learn.
@Geoffrey, Polish takes the prize for language difficulty !!! (And it’s my ethnic heritage) I stumble and bumble with it in my Nursing work so much so that one Polish lady said, you speak Polish just like a Jew. (not an insult as. Jewish people in Poland spoke German, Yiddish, & tried their hand a Polish too.) For example you cannot say in Polish “I nailed a picture on the wall”, nail can only be a noun and never a verb. So even if you know English to Polish vocabulary, your sentances will still come out as laughable. (sigh)
@Dave BTW you may have shared this all ready but wheat is your native tongue I thought you were a native speaker/writer all along . Bravo !
what NOT wheat, geesh
@ Dave, Google, Wikipedia KKK and a large site comes up with lots of information . Please remember that the old Confederacy that was fighting the civil war are the ancestors of the current Democrats, and all the obstructions to civil rights and anti black “Jim Crow” laws were enacted by these same Democrats. If someone tries to lie to you that Republicans are the KKK just remind them that youknow itwas started and carried forth by Democrats.
The left-right paradigm is contextual. In America, the center is conservative, the right is libertarian (i.e. individualistic), and the left is Pro-Choice, including: [class] diversity (i.e. deny individual dignity), selective-child (i.e. deny lives deemed unworthy, inconvenient, or profitable), redistributive change (e.g. the “Jews” have too much), and authoritarian (i.e. anti-choice).
That said, a constellation of orientations. Unlike human sex which is binary, human character is not.

What-about-ism.
It’s used as a misdirection because each faction always uses its best people as exemplars of all of its adherents, and insists on using the worst examples of its opponents (inventing them if necessary) to categorize all of them.
BTW, using your “best” examples can backfire, if the “middle” you are trying to persuade has a negative opinion of them.

“In other words, if you tuned in to news about climate change in that time period, you were exposed to Al Gore and his message. And even though that message was unabashedly pro-climate and for strong climate action, it likely played a role in turning Republicans against that message, since to them, Gore was simply a Democratic politician they disliked.”
Just for fun, because I like Hoyt’s sarcasm.
https://pjmedia.com/trending/2017/08/16/dear-leftists-no-nazis-bed/
Dear Leftists,
Stop seeing Nazis under your bed. Yeah, I know, the rally at Charlottesville has proven there are real Nazis and KKK in America, and you’re all very scared that the nonsense you’ve been talking for years is true.
I’ve heard the rally by Unite the Right (a misnomer, and yes, we’ll get to it later) comprised around a hundred people. Sources trying to make us really scared have increased that to four hundred, but I am sure they’re also including the self-named Antifa.
So a hundred, maybe four hundred, in the South, in what you guys consider (ignorantly) to be the bastion of racism/sexism/other isms that might occur to you. … Out of a nation of three hundred million.
Whether or not this turned into a fight, whether or not the hilariously ineffective law enforcement was ordered to stand down, whether or not in the confusion a woman was murdered or at least killed, I want you to think about those numbers. Use your fingers and toes, if needed. Let’s make this clear: if there were four hundred neo-Nazis (and that’s assuming some of them weren’t just stupid) there, which there probably weren’t, that’s one in every seven hundred and fifty thousand people in America.
To put this in perspective, the number of people in the U.S. who believe in Big Foot, the number of people who believe in UFOs, the number of flat-earthers, the number of people who believe Star Trek is “all true” and probably the number of people who believe that you, yes, you, Mr. Smith from Main Street in Centerville USA are a dinosaur in disguise — all these numbers are far more than four hundred.
In fact, you can’t name a belief stupid enough that it doesn’t have at least four hundred adherents somewhere in the USA. And this doesn’t mean that we’re particularly crazy or stupid, no. It just means that in a nation of three hundred million, you’re going to find a lot of crazy, off beat, and strange people.
However you, dear leftists, have decided that this “show of force” by four hundred people who, btw, were completely outnumbered and also incidentally beaten and otherwise attacked by “Antifa” (who must have named itself by opposites, since wearing masks and beating people in the street is the game of the fascists, not the anti-fascists) means that we live in a “White Supremacy” and that anyone saying it ain’t so is a “neo-Nazi.”
Over the last few days, my friends — who range from soft-left to in-your-face Libertarians — have been getting in fights and otherwise losing friendships because they tell their leftist friends to keep their hair on, and also that no, there isn’t a sudden upsurge of Nazis ready to take over the country.
…

Other estimates put the total number of these nutters (not on the Right despite the best efforts of the media and the Democrats to put them there) from 4000 up to 6000, out of 300,000,000; or at most 1 in 50,000.
Sounds even more awful doesn’t it?
The fifth largest jail in America (Philiadelphia) houses 8318.
http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/22/us/lisa-ling-this-is-life-la-county-jail-by-the-numbers/index.html
Or consider this:
Bancroft Hall at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, is the largest single dormitory in the world…. home for the entire brigade of 4,000 midshipmen
So, what’s my point?
Hoyt doesn’t point out the obvious hypocrisy of the Left which insists on downplaying the acts of the Islamic jihadi terrorists because they are such a small fraction of the world’s (or America’s) Muslims, even though the absolute number of terrorist-supporters is in the hundreds of thousands.
This from a website debunking a claim that millions of Muslims are radicalized dangers:
(population of USA is not investigated; these three European nations together come close, I think)
https://www.csmonitor.com/World/Security-Watch/terrorism-security/2015/0113/How-many-Muslim-extremists-are-there-Just-the-facts-please
Working off of these intelligence estimates, if you were to take one percent of the Muslim populations of Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, by the most liberal of estimates, less than 125,000 Muslims living in these combined countries would be prone to radicalization. Add that to the possible radical population across the rest of Europe and the sum is approximately 325,000 Muslims are at risk of becoming radical.
The key qualifier is “at risk of becoming radical.” That doesn’t mean they will pick up a gun or start plotting an attack.
“Radicalization and violent extremism are two different things,” Mr. Rabasa says. “Violent extremist behavior only comes about if a radicalized individual falls in with a circle of people who are open to using violence.”
According to Rabasa, a “radical” Muslim could also be an individual who belongs to an Islamist organization that is advocating for a Sharia legal system, but does not embrace violence to bring this to fruition.
* * *
So, a “radical” Rightist could belong to an organization that is advocating for a sane immigration system, but does not embrace violence to bring this to fruition; however, they won’t get this kind of pass from the Left and its media.
* * *
(This is a recent data-set)
http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2017/08/09/muslims-and-islam-key-findings-in-the-u-s-and-around-the-world/
According to our estimate, there are about 3.35 million Muslims of all ages in the U.S., or about 1% of the U.S. population.
…
More generally, Muslims mostly say that suicide bombings and other forms of violence against civilians in the name of Islam are rarely or never justified, including 92% in Indonesia and 91% in Iraq. In the United States, a 2011 survey found that 86% of Muslims say such tactics are rarely or never justified. An additional 7% say suicide bombings are sometimes justified and 1% say they are often justified.
* * *
Note that this leaves 6% unaccounted for; however, 8% justifiers (aka terrorist fellow-travelers) out of 3.35 million is 268,000; far more than even the most liberal (ahem) estimates of white supremacists and neo-Nazis.
His [Trump’s] point is that too many are are purposefully ignoring the real meaning of the other equally dangerous set of thugs who have caused violence in Portland, Berkeley, Ferguson, Evergreen College and at least half of the problem in Charlottesville. If the Nazis are the spawn of Hitler, then Antifa and BLM are the spawn of Lenin and Stalin.
Those who believe the MSM is dead or rapidly waning in influence are sadly mistaken. Note how quickly they portrayed a nasty streetfight between neo-Nazis and neo-Stalinists into an epic struggle by courageous heroes trying to thwart Pure Nazi Evil, as if this were 1930s Germany before Hitler took power. And note how effective this warped depiction has been, with public figures lining up to condemn “The Hate” emanating from the Nazis while giving a free pass to the noxious, violent Antifa and BLM.
If anything, the latter are the bigger threat since they have support — tacit and often explicit — from the MSM, government, academia, entertainment and “mainstream” left-leaning groups and politicians. And they’re busy using their “heckler’s veto” (or “thug veto”) to intimidate and quash the speech of anyone who dares to disagree with them.
Who out there is supporting a tiny minority of neo-Nazis and white supremacists? How many universities are influenced by white racists at all versus many in the thrall of anti-white racists and leftist lunatics — as seen at Evergreen College and Berkeley, to name just two. How many politicians and MSM outlets will minimize, ignore or apologize for the damage done by violent whites like they did when they excused and downplayed the looting, burning and rioting done largely by blacks in Ferguson and Baltimore?
“Dear Leftists,
Stop seeing Nazis under your bed.”
Here is another data point: in 1991 David Duke ran for governor of Louisiana and got nearly 40% of the vote. Last year he ran for senator there and got 3% of the vote. As much as I loathe him and his ilk I do not see a scary rising tide of neo-Nazis. But it is politically convenient for the left to exaggerate his influence.
Dave:
Well, in the example you gave, “a chicken” means a single chicken. “A chicken was walking” means one chicken was walking, not two or three, and not a half chicken.
However, when you say “I ate chicken” you are usually speaking of a piece of chicken rather than a certain chicken. If you actually HAD eaten an entire chicken—a whole roast chicken, for example—you could indeed say “I ate a chicken” and you would be correct.
What’s more, if you wanted to refer to a particular chicken—for example, the black and white one that had crossed the road—you could say “the chicken.” If you were referring to eating that particular chicken you could say “I ate THE chicken” and you would be correct.
Dave:
For some background on how the Republicans came to be called racists, see this (and follow the links) and this.
The end game of Lucifer is to create the Left to radicalize American conservatives, Alt Right, and patriots, into forming an anti Left coalition. This coalition will then secure enough power so that when it is hijacked, Lucifer now controls both factions in the civil war. This allows the end game to progress to the next stage.

Thanks for the links; I knew that the charges against Nixon and the GOP were false, but didn’t have the citations needed to prove it.
One more example that “a lie can saturate the world while the truth is a drop in the ocean” — or something.
Oh, and that the MSM has been lying about conservatives and Republicans for a very, very long time.

I actually agree with this in many ways, being a believer in the literal coming of the end of times and Armageddon (details of the implementation still being open to varying interpretations).
However, most of your coalition has already been hijacked; the righteous of all factions (not only the American ones, btw) just aren’t aware they are being “had” yet.
AesopFan:
I think that chicken of yours did make it across the road, right into the waiting arms of the executioner.
Nice post Aesopfan. The numbers do provide some perspective. I read a statement elsewhere, by someone I consider reasonable and well informed, that the ranks of the Neo-Nazis, and White Supremacists are basically stagnant, while those of Antifa are growing alarmingly.
Of course the trajectory may change since another observer said that the term White Supremacist could reasonably morph into “White Survivalist”. Sooner or later, white people may decide to take a page from the play books of La Raza, CAIR, NAACP, Black Lives Matter, Black Congressional Caucus, and other such organizations, and organize themselves. Wouldn’t that set hair on fire?
Anyway, those who want us to imagine a Nazi threat behind every curtain prefer to ignore that there is probably no group in America that is more closely monitored by our government. I hope that the same level of scrutiny is given to possible Jihadists; and wish that I could believe it applies equally to Antifa. It seems that those who are charged with enforcing laws and maintaining civic order are way behind with respect to Antifa, since they are running wild around the country. One wonders why.
However, most of your coalition has already been hijacked; the righteous of all factions (not only the American ones, btw) just aren’t aware they are being “had” yet.
Humans have never been aware of what the upper echelons were planning, without people like me telling them.
And if you agree too much with Ymar, GB will start saying you are becoming like Art. Not that Art agrees with me all that much, but it is an implication that the styles are the same. Even though they are not.
The idea that a bunch of retarded SJWs have the strategic planning to overthrow America using a 100 year plan… not something mortals can come up. Immortals though? Oh in that case, it would be feasible.
One wonders why.
I don’t have to wonder why. I know why.
Molly,
I dated a Polish exchange student a long time ago. Her English was great but she was always forgetting her definite articles or getting them mixed up. She’d say, “We went to store,” instead of “We went to the store.” Said they don’t have definite articles in Polish and could never figure out why we needed them.
Sounded weird to me at the time but afterwards I have to admit, there’s few things as sexy as a woman speaking English with an eastern European accent.
“One tribal and the other, a collective that abhors individualism, at any level. Each seeks total power to implement its vision.”> – GB
It seems a mistake to describe each this way.
It surely seems that BOTH are tribal in terms of their own perceived “ideology” (there is an “in” group, with all others falling into the “out” group, the latter their target for persecution).
As well, it seems that it is always and inevitably about some small group who want to impose their will on the rest of society for their own personal benefit, be it for fame, power, wealth, or d) all the above.
