Ignoring the obvious: there’s been at least one completed act of terrorism in the US by someone born in Somalia — 16 Comments

  1. Also not a big deal because it happened in Columbus.

We take in one million people here every year. Maybe that could be cut back.

  2. Activist judges are no more interested in fact, reason and logic than they are in the Constitution.

The 9th circuit’s rulings were reversed 86% of the time by SCOTUS. An 86% failure rate by any calculus equals incompetence. In this case, arguably criminal negligence.

Activist judges will continue to issue similar rulings until there is consequence. At the Federal level, the judiciary lacks a corrective feedback mechanism of accountability.

  3. St. Cloud MN mall stabbing attack on 10-17-16: “Dahir A. Adan was a member of St. Cloud’s Somali-American community. He was born in Kenya and moved to the U.S. at the age of two on a refugee visa, becoming a U.S. citizen in 2008.”

    and

“Before the spree ended, ten people were injured, three of whom were hospitalized with non-life-threatening wounds. Reports said the attacker made references to Allah, including shouting “Allahu Akbar”, and asked several people if they were Muslim.”

  4. Within the last year, the CBS Evening News has run two segments that amounted to propaganda on behalf of Somali immigrants. The folly of having welcomed within the last two decades roughly 150,000 uneducated, unskilled Muslim refugees from a backward, war-torn failed state should be obvious to anyone familiar with the facts of high rates of welfare dependency and criminality, as well as very limited assimilation, among the Somalis living here, even leaving aside the issue of terrorism.

  5. “The seven countries in Trump’s immigration EO have yielded not only many arrests for terrorism (unbeknownst to the court, apparently), but one completed of act of terrorism that was extremely high profile. It’s puzzling that this one has been so ignored, because it’s so glaringly obvious.”

I’m assuming that puzzlement is rhetorical. There is really no ambiguity about the motives of those pushing the narratives of the Left about refugees and terrorism.

As you mention in another post today, nothing the MSM says can be trusted — including “and” and “the” —

  6. AesopFan:

No, my puzzlement is not rhetorical. Not only has the left ignored it (understandable; no puzzlement there) but the right hasn’t emphasized it in response to the left’s asserting over and over that no such person exists.

The Trump administration as well as pundits on the right should have been making a big deal of the egregious errors of omission on the part of the left. I haven’t seen much of that at all from the right, and certainly not with much insistence or vigor.

  7. neo-neocon : Trum’s propaganda attack/defense is mostly run by the Alt Right. If the alt right, meaning the internet memes and posters, have pictures of those attacks and propaganda lines concerning it, yet Trum or Bannon or the DC press hasn’t taken hold of it, then they are deliberately ignoring it for some reason.

  8. A few thoughts about the reasoning of the progressives who are rioting and carrying on because the President wants to secure the country against our enemies.

We have no right to maintain secure borders………..because imperialism.

We have no right to defend ourselves against the threatened attacks by radical Islamic terrorists because………………they are no threat to us or our way of life.

Every human who sets foot on U.S. soil is a de facto citizen (yes, an undocumented citizen) because…………………it’s only fair.

Anyone who wants to enforce our immigration laws is a racist/bigot/xenophobe because……………we say so.

These people have lost all sense of what it means to practice the ancient art of scanning the horizon for signs of danger. It seems to be a mass loss of survival instincts.

  9. When reality steps on the throat of their fantasy they double down on their fantasy. Run of the mill leftists have little or no knowledge of history and believe human nature is perfectable. The Occupy Democrats think Hitler built the Berlin Wall. (See ASHQ.) Of course the leaders who give the marching orders are another matter.

  10. It seems to be a mass loss of survival instincts.

People who buy food from a super market and don’t kill their own animals have survival instincts… interesting counter to the claim.

For them to have lost it, means they once had. But when was that?

  11. They don’t want to know as it would throw a wrench in their agenda; therefore they failed to do any research. How can we allow this dishonesty to go unchecked?

  12. Ymarsakar: “For them to have lost it, means they once had. But when was that?”

I guess they never learned that fire burns, cars can kill, and falls over long drops are usually fatal. Or to run/fight when threatened by a bully. Where do these people come from? Surely some had normal childhoods.

  13. Y,

“… mass lose of survival instincts.”

Not everyone is born a farm boy or girl in flyover country. 😉 We who have that great fortune know how to survive. Grow food and know how to preserve it. Raise animals and know how to slaughter them and preserve their flesh. Get your first 22LR rifle at 8 and learn marksmanship. Know how to hunt and fish. I check all boxes and taught my children well.

It may be a vanishing set of skills, but there are more than you imagine who still possess the skills of survival. Be of good cheer. We efficient and effective ones are still around. A country boy will survive.

  14. I wounder you puzzlement you dont consider the killing of those indian men you don’t see it as terror incident

  15. Dafe – Of course we do. The man should be tried, convicted, and executed as soon as possible. Better yet, he should have been killed by the police on the spot. Sic semper Terroranus!

  16. Where do these people come from? Surely some had normal childhoods.

Yet many people are awarded Darwin’s award. How do you separate those who follow what they are told and those who follow their instincts? Not all of them survive either way.

For example, the Left preaches that those who have guns, are more likely to be shot. Is this their instinct talking or is this their Belief in their Messiah talking?
