Here’s a brave man — 12 Comments

  1. You have a warped sense of what brave is…
but then again, to a college educated cosseted person, maybe that kind of thing IS brave…

risking your job is not brave
we often move to better ones

    risking your life is brave…
there is a reason why society is referring to such people who think bs is brave as snowflakes..

ooooh.. he might get called into an office and get a stern talking to… when he gets there and there is a certainty of a baseball bat upside the head, and he does it anyway, THATS bravery..

when the French queen apologizes for stepping on the two of the executioner when her head would be cut off in a few minutes, thats brave

crying like miley circus cause the team you rooted for to wint he election, is not brave…

Portland anti-Trump rioters attack pregnant woman with a baseball bat

  2. “We diagnose them as racists in the way Dark Age clerics confused medical problems with demonic possession. Journalists, at our worst, see ourselves as a priestly caste.” We see them as a pederastic priestly class.

Yes, they do need humility. They also need a vastly wider circle of acquaintances with more, MUCH more, actual diversity of thought. That mirrored on the inside, sound-proof bubble they’ve lived in has made them ignorant.

Also, you have the appearance, and Wikileaks has examples of it, of embodying Prof. Reynold’s description of you, collectively, as Democrats with bylines. It will take years, and I expect to die, before you can be proven free of that minion status.

  3. At last someone inside the progressive bubble is looking outside. This a minor ripple on the msm muddy puddle, but should be applauded nonetheless.

  4. “What can we do to get these people to stop worshiping their false god and accept our gospel? ” He nailed it!

Progressivism is a secular religion. They believe they have a divine mission to bring their gospel to the savages. Their blind spot is their inability to look about for evidence that their “gospel” of egalitarianism and statism has ever worked to promote life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for the majority of people.

Only when journalism schools quit teaching their students that they must “change the world for the better” will we start to get reporters who will concentrate on the who, when, where. why, and how instead of a premeditated narrative. I’m not going to hold my breath until that happens.

The other thing that has to happen is that newsrooms and TV stations must become more accepting of journalists who are not progressives. Many Fox news people have described their days at more liberal TV networks as working in hostile work environments.

  5. I think Will Rahn’s article is at best merely tepid.

The big story here is the media’s bizarrely unbalanced reporting. For example, there was tremendous journalistic curiosity expended on the Trump-Billy Bush tape from an era that long predated Obama and Hillary’s transformation into gay marriage supporters, and much less journalistic curiosity expended on the Hillary pay-for-play scheme and the leaks of specific debate questions to the Hillary campaign.

    Will Rhan completely ignores that.

  7. In re the media mea culpas, tepid as they may be (emphasis is the NYT email to subscibers):

We believe we reported on both candidates fairly during the presidential campaign.

No, you don’t. You did what you always to: you tried to elect the Democratic nominee, and defeat the Republican nominee.

You can rely on The New York Times to bring the same fairness, the same level of scrutiny, the same independence to our coverage of the new president and his team.

That promise is sincere: I am sure the Times will cover Trump the President just as fairly as it covered Trump the nominee.delusional.php

Remember what the New York Times did with Hoffman?

  9. Btw, people told me that if Trum gets elected, the Left will get suppressed.

All I see are a bunch of colored gang bangers attacking white people. Has Trum done something about that, or are we waiting for Walker to finally do something about the Left crushing his supporters with SWAT raids in Wisconsin?

Like I said before, some Presidential Hero King isn’t going to save you. Did it save them from the mob and gang raiders? Huh, did it?
