There was…
…an internet attack today.
More here:
“Someone is extensively testing the core defensive capabilities of the companies that provide critical Internet services,” Schneier added.
It Ain’t Me, Babe.
[ADDENDUM: As a result of that attack, my blog was just down for about an hour and a half. Now it’s back, I hope for good, but the attacks have been episodic and they may continue. I always find all of this anxiety-provoking.]
Now let’s see. What political party has a vested interest in seeing that information does not pass on conservative sites, and who just gave the internet away to a foreign entity so that they can claim both plausible deniability and no responsibility if something happens on or around election day? It is a freaking mystery.
Of course, I picked that particular hour to log on to your site and couldn’t figure out why my browser said it couldn’t contact server.
When I heard news about cyber attack report mentioned huge sites like Twitter and such. I wondered if it was connected.
Now I know!
@ Subotai Bahadur:
Thank you. You have made mme feel like I’m going “Charlie Sheen” mad” with the Obama/ Clinton conspiracy theoriesthat have been running through my head!
I meant, NOT going “Charlie Sheen mad”…
That is quite disconcerting. At an interesting time, too.
So glad that OUR government is protecting us from these criminals.
As a cyber criminal ever be caught and jailed? I’m talking both foreign and domestic.
The US government isn’t worth a sh.
And by extension, the people who owe their loyalty to such a Regime, begins to matter less and less, the more they vote their own power away to the Regime.
