Anti-Trump riots — 19 Comments

  1. Didn’t California’s Gaystapo attack churches in California before, when they wanted to violate people’s human rights by getting the state to recognize homo marriage?

  2. Make America Mexico Again — proclaims one tyke’s placard.

I STILL contend that Donald is dead meat in November.

These la raza rioters are but the tip of the spear.

Trump loses California, Texas, New York, Illinois, and greater New England.

    The term is BLOW OUT.

  3. His ONLY shot is if Sanders voters — repelled by Hillary — bolt — en masse — from their life long affiliations.

That’s not impossible – as Donald is a Democrat in the vein of Andrew Jackson, another fella that bounced — policy wise — all over the map — to stay ahead of the populist ferment he was riding.

  4. But…but…but…Hispanics are natural conservatives! Family values don’t stop at the Rio Grande!

  5. blert,

Trump’s only shot? A series of ISIS attacks in America might not prove decisive? Hard hitting SUPERPAC ads that reiterate all of Hillary’s negatives wouldn’t peel away significantly enough voters from supporting Hillary?

At this point, predictions are merely exercises in pontification. Hillary’s ‘cough’ may yet metasticize into something that can no longer be ignored.

  6. Unlike many other things in this world when it comes to the cough I live in hope.

  7. Scott Adams:

“Clinton, on the other hand, looks like an entirely different person every few days. That suggests some greater variability in her health. And that’s probably a tell for medications that are waxing and waning but rarely at the ideal levels. Or perhaps the underlying conditions have normal variability. Or both.

Under normal circumstances it would be deeply irresponsible for a cartoonist to give a medical diagnosis to a stranger he hasn’t met. I trust you to ignore my medical opinions. I do this to build a record of my persuasion-related predictions and to show you the method.

I give Clinton a 50% chance of making it to November with sufficiently good health to be considered a viable president. Judging from her performance on the campaign trail, she is managing her health effectively to get the job done. ”

  8. vanderleun:

I give Clinton a 99% chance of making it to November with sufficiently good health.

  9. I don’t think it helps Trump much except for a few angry altright voters. That might help Trump secure the GOP nomination but won’t help him in the general election. The left stages those agitprop riots because they have discovered that rioting is very effective for them.

  10. White supremacists, black supremacists, female chauvinists, etc. are all subsets of [class] diversity, that denigrates individual dignity, and when combined with selective-child under the pro-choice [religious] doctrine, debases human life.

In liberal (i.e. unprincipled or progressively divergent) societies, the most influential class diversity advocates and activists are no longer the KKK, but other special and peculiar interests, including: feminists, “=”, minorities, abortionists, “planners,” Democrats, and pro-choicers generally.

But…but…but…Hispanics are natural conservatives! Family values don’t stop at the Rio Grande!

The people pushing that line were mostly RINOs; the same people who conducted the “GOP autopsy” after 2012 and came to the conclusions they preferred.
I don’t expect Trump supporters to know the difference.

    I agree.
Hoping your opponent makes a mistake (or suffers a mishap) is not the same thing as a strategy, and it’s not generally a reliable way to win.

  13. I note again that Cruz doesn’t draw this kind of animosity, and his stance on the border is tougher than Trump’s (no touchback amnesty, for instance).

These things “unexpectedly” happen to Trump because he’s easy to get a rise out of. They don’t happen to Cruz because he’s not a reactionary. They also happen because the left wants Trump to win: riots not only energize Trump’s supporters, they energize the left by juxtaposing to Trump’s reactions.

    This is classic agitprop.

  14. I have lived and worked in Mexico; however it is VERY corrupt. If those ‘protestors’ are so thrilled with Mexico, LET THEM GO HOME AND FIX THEIR OWN COUNTRY!

  15. For the first time since the campaign began, I hope the Evil Empress doesn’t get indicted. She’s eminently beatable with the right campaign by Donald, but her likely replacement, Joe Biden, isn’t.

    Mega-dittos.

  17. The democrat base consists of all these victims groups and the only way to get them to operate in concert is to drum up hatred against the republicans. Saw the same thing with Romney. Romney cheated on his taxes, he closed all these businesses and put people out of work and he gave women cancer.

  18. Ray,
Very true. Remember the slanders against Sarah Palin and how, after the election, she was driven out of politics by fraudulent ethics charges? Slandering Packs, like voting fraud, is how the Jackass Party operates.

The rioting against Trump will be repeated during the general election against Cruz if he wins the nomination, or any other Pack who might be nominated. Whoever that is, against Hillary there must be a campaign of repeated attacks on her record as Secretary of State, Senator, lecturer to large crony-capitalist companies, enabler of Bill’s exploitation of women, and sundry other sleazy practices going all the way back to Arkansas.

Against Biden point out how Ga-ga he is and the foolishness of the Dem platform’s policy proposals (they are bound to be foolish).
