Wisconsin primary thread
As usual with these primaries, I am very anxious. This particular primary has been hyped as Extremely Important, maybe The Most Important One of All. I think that’s hyperbole, but it’s not all that far from the truth.
The polls in Wisconsin close at 8 PM Central Time.
Based on scientific sampling of people named “Matt,” here are my projections:
Cruz 45%
Trump 35%
Kasich 20%
What about delegates named Matt?
12% of vote in, Cruz cruzin’ over 50% still…
Twenty nine percent in;
Cruz 52.9
Trump 29.7
Kasich 15.1
Trump’s trajectory is turning downward. Kasich is on an undefined mission.
Cruz appears to be doing better than expected; Trump worse. But then Cruz recently picked up Governor Walker’s endorsement and Trump has had two very bad weeks.
The big vote comes up soon: New York. Let’s hope Cruz can keep Trump from a blow away victory there.
Oh, and Hillary got blitzed in Wisconsin.
Cruz wins, Hillary gets beaten. Be still my heart.
With 32% reporting: Cruz 52%, Trump 32%, Kasich 15%. For the forces of darkness it is Bernie 55% and the Shrew Queen 45%.
I’m out, so I can’t update the post yet, but
I am one happy camper tonight!!!
Wisconsin, my new favorite state 🙂 .
Will my dream of a Cruz v Sanders election come true? Probably not, but it would be awesome.
Final score:
Cruz 48.3% (+3.3% from prediction)
Trump 35.1% (+0.1%)
Kasich 14.0% (-6.0%)
All in all, pretty close. Also, the greatest error was by the guy I’d like to see perform the worst: Kasich.
I am part owner of a family cottage in Wisconsin. I have been going there for 58 years! Proud of my home away from home!
Go Pack!
