Cavort in the midst of group excitement without end!
Too bad that this exceptional young man just doesn’t have the clever tongue, and political glamor to really be competitive in a Presidential sweepstakes.
Of course in 21st century America it does not help that he is not one of the favored minorities; I am not sure that he even speaks Spanish. Nor is his father a first generation, Cuban bar tender. The Indian-American vote, although not insignificant, is pretty well diffused; and probably focused on personal professional development. What mass of group or class can he call to his banner?.
On the other hand, he has actual Executive and leadership experience; and when he talks he speaks seriously about complex issues. So, there is that.
I wonder what his real goal might be in this cycle. I have to believe that he is taking the long view.
Would this ever be a race of opposites!
In one corner Bobby Jindal, a man who has managed to stay scandal-free while getting elected governor of a state known for tarnishing its native sons,
and in the other corner
Hillary Clinton, a woman who might be likened to The Tar Baby running around in a room full of hundreds.
I like Jindal a lot. I watched his speech today and he hit all the right notes, IMO. I think people may be surprised when/if he gets into the debates. With this late start will he ever get into the debates? That’s his immediate problem.
