Obama releases five Yemeni terrorists from Guantanamo
In a stunningly offensive bit of timing, President Obama decided to swell the ranks of Yemeni terrorists at large, because we need a few more:
The U.S. released five Yemeni prisoners from the prison facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, the Pentagon said late Wednesday.
One man was transferred to Estonia and the other four were sent to Oman, which borders Yemen and Saudi Arabia…
The detainees in the latest release all had been cleared for transfer for nearly five years, but couldn’t be sent back to Yemen out of concerns they would join terrorist fighters. The Pentagon didn’t disclose the conditions for their release.
So there is concern that they would join terrorists if they went back to Yemen, but next-door Oman is just fine? And we have no right to know what conditions they’re being held under?
That is, if they’re being “held” at all.
The day before the release, “a group of Republican senators proposed legislation seeking to curtail Mr. Obama’s ability to transfer terrorism suspects out of Guantanamo.” Obama probably realized he’d better hurry up and release a lot of them before the Republicans can stop him.
Our Barry! He is less and less inclined to hide his contempt for America and the American people. it certainly shines through with this act. I desperately want to think there is some hidden benefit to this release that we will learn about years from now. But at the moment I’m wrestling with the question — Is it possible to be shameless and contemptuous at the same time? I think I know the answer.
It’s weird having a pro terrorist anti American president. And yet, so many many Americans think he is just great, and so much better than the alternative.
I’m with Walid Shoebat: he thinks it’s beyond ridiculous that Westerners refuse to see that Obama is a Muslim. No, he’s not banging his head on the floor five times a day (too lazy) or abstaining from alcohol etc. (too self-indulgent), but he thinks of them as his homeboys, and has said AT THE UN that “the future must not belong to those who slander The Prophet of Islam.”
Note the imperative: MUST NOT. Seriously, what more do you need? This is the Only religion this jackass has defended and spoken for, and he’s done so frequently. He was raised as a Muslim.
Denial: it ain’t just a river in Egypt.
Julia NYC:
The continuing relatively high level of approval for Obama is indeed the weirdest—and most depressing, and most dangerous—thing of all.
Regarding Obama’s continuing high levels of approval;
“When men cease to believe in God, They will believe in anything.” – G.K. Chesterton
“Liberty means responsibility. That is why most men dread it.”- George Bernard Shaw
“The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly is to fill the world with fools.” Herbert Spencer, English philosopher (1820 – 1903)
He jus gave yall another big ol middle finger.
Enjoy America.
The continuing relatively high level of approval for Obama is indeed the weirdest–and most depressing, and most dangerous–thing of all.
For those that have studied the power of propaganda and mind control, it’s not so weird in all. Surprise is for the ignorant after all.
1. Vastly diminishing our military power.
2. Increasing the image of scrawny weakness.
3. Moral and physical cowardice embraced as symbolic and acceptable.
4. Increasing the distrust of our friends.
5. Increasing the mirth of our enemies.
6. Denial that Islamonazi Radicalism is our Blood Enemy and biggest threat.
7. Cowardice and Wishful Thinking in dealings with Iran.
8. Releasing Islamists from Gitmo at a time when Islamist Terror is increasing around the world.
ARE WE NOT BLESSED, AMERICA??!!
I guess he needed some more untraceable couriers to signal that another attack might be needed to make sure his amnesty isn’t reversed.
As I’ve said before, since Obama became President, the United States has changed sides in the war. We are now openly aiding and abetting Islamic terrorism.
And note that Obama has nothing to say about the Boko Haram atrocities.
Is treason an impeachable offense? Just wondering.
What is interesting, and will be even more so, is the number of zero’s supporters who are going to–have to–reject everything they’ve claimed to stand for, in order to keep supporting zero.
And they will. My guess is about one percent will change their minds.
I suspect that zero’s increasing negatives come from those who had a “meh” view of his job, not from those who actively supported him.
FOAH:
An impeachable offense is whatever Congress says it is.
Tree of Liberty needs the blood of tyrants and patriots. That usually comes when all branches of government are corrupt and in league with foreign powers to enslave the citizens. Usually.
