A friend of mine had a dog that brought home a baby badger, having found the Mom squished on the road. The dog had apparently decided that what that badger needed was a Dad. Snickers grew up believeing that she was a dog, albiet one built low to the ground.
Amazing and really heartwarming!
Individual morality or natural pack/tribe social behavior? Both?
