Of course, ISIS does not wish to kill every non-Muslim in the world, they do however wish to kill every societal precept not of the Qur’an. They wish to impose Shariah upon the world and begin to transform the world into a world-wide Islamic State.
Perhaps just as disturbing is the number of Americans who will eagerly embrace these videos and be encouraged to act similarly. These video’s are, among other things, devices for recruitment… not only for Islam but for all the people who embrace hurting others and those who simply ‘want to watch the world burn’.
We’re a bit hamstrung because of the identification of islam as a religion. Kinda messes with our American First Amendment ideals.
We should be very glad that hitler and stalin didn’t declare naziism and communism as religions. Would’ve made WWII and the Cold War a lot more difficult.

I doubt it. Americans didn’t care about Japanese Americans that were put into concentration camps and had their property sold off below market price. Waging a war against an external religion that was set on political and military domination, wouldn’t have interfered much with the Constitutional priority of allowing internal religions freedom from government tyranny.

Good piece Neo. I get the concept of “De-civilization” but that term is so very bland; it fails to come close to conveying the level of sickening depravity involved here. A better term is called for, but what is it? Needs to convey something on an emotional/visceral level that is accurate yet appropriately insulting to them.
Hmmm… I’ve tried but can’t think of any terms that would pass muster with the PC police.

Great article. Neo appeared to dance around the point a bit at first but she eventually arrived at the correct position that the source of this violence is Islam itself. Moderate Muslims might be uncomfortable with the violence but they still share responsibility for it. Because they are unwilling to renounce Islam at best they are enablers. MAO reportedly said that “the people are the sea in which revolutionaries swim.” In the same way Muslims are the sea in which Jihadis swim.
I also find the term de-civilization weak. The majority of Muslims who leave the West and fight for ISIS come from immigrant communities who have never assimilated – they are still Muslims. Since they were never civilized into the Judeo-Christian culture they can not be de-civilized. To the contrary they are re-civilizing as they integrate deeper into their own native culture.
Geoffry Britain – I often think of that Independence Day scene when someone like Obama acts as if we can negotiate with Islamic terror groups. The sad thing is that ISIS *has* said this to us, loudly and often, and yet Obama and the media refuse to acknowledge it.

The psychopath criminal is always of use to the mass murder cults that have permeated the Twentieth and Twenty-First centuries. You come to know them by their uniform shirts, brown, black, as well as the, at minimum, penchant for violence, at maximum, pure blood lust.
It is lost on the obtuse, apparently, and the treacherous close an already blind eye, to the fact that all of Europe’s and America’s psychopaths gravitate to Islam — the ‘religion’ incorporated by a charter of violence, terror, and that had evolved from ur barbarism aimed at infidels to de-civilization, aimed at all the centuries since the Eighth. What more is needed to convict Islam itself and not merely its inevitable concomitants such as Al Queda, Talibans, and ISIS?

Obama and the media refuse to acknowledge it because it would be harmful to their agenda to do so. They know the truth and are purposely suppressing it. As far as they are concerned, any Americans who die as the result of their actions are just collateral damage, necessary to the greater good.
I judge it to be intentional but even if not, literally everything Obama is doing is making America more vulnerable to attack.
Mr. Obama says that we intend to diminish and degrade ISIL. And, the recently resigned ambassador to Israel is letting the cat out of the bag that Obama was “enraged” by Israel’s behavior and its lack of respect for himself and the equally useless Kerry. “Enraged”. So, he does feel the fires of rage about something!! But, ISIL? He wants to “degrade” them.
And, also addressed in the first hour of Mike Medved’s show today: He has assured Estonia that we have its back. Cannot, for the life of me, imagine the warmth and confidence that fills the Estonians with.
The Left being guilty is not going to make it an automatic pardon for the crimes and guilt of moderate Democrats.
Any more than moderate Muslims will be forgiven and absolved of all consequences for Islamic Jihad.
