Meanwhile, the border invasion continues…
…and now it’s spreading disease.
Well, of course. After all, the people who are entering come from countries where disease is far more rampant. So why not? In earlier non-PC days we actually paid attention to that sort of thing. Of course, that was also back when illegal entry was considered—well, illegal.
I noticed today that Drudge is covering the border influx heavily, with a large central headline about HIV spreading, and twelve others on the topic that are placed above it and to the left. Drudge has a daily—yes, daily—circulation of twenty-five million, so the news is getting out, at least to the choir. (Are liberals more likely to read Drudge any more than they watch Fox? Don’t think so.)
If ever a region needed to be declared a federal disaster area, it’s the border and the region near it. That’s a particularly ironic though, since this would be a disaster that not only requires federal assistance, but it’s also one created by the federal government, most likely on purpose.
And lest you think this situation wouldn’t fall under the criteria for the official federal designation “disaster area,” take a look at the definition:
A disaster area is a region or a locale, heavily damaged by either natural, technological or social hazards. Disaster areas affect the population living in the community by dramatic increase in expense, loss of energy, food and services; and finally increase the risk of disease for citizens.
Who’s bearing the brunt of this? The local communities, and to a certain extent the states involved. That’s win/win for Obama, since (surprise!) these are red states, mainly Texas but also Arizona.
We’ve already heard about disease, but there’s this, too:
Small towns and counties in states bordering Mexico are drowning in debt due to the swarm of illegals stealing and destroying property, requiring expensive medical care and needing proper burials, all of which the federal government has largely refused to pay for.
For example, in Brooks Co., Texas, which is 75 miles north of the Mexican border, county judge Raul M. Ramirez told Infowars that autopsies of dead illegal aliens are rapidly draining his county’s resources which were already meager after the oil & gas industry left town.
As for crime:
Sex offenders, murder suspects and gang members are making their way through the vast rangelands of Brooks County.
The Vickers ranch is one of the many land spreads affected by the surge in illegal immigration. What is more concerning to the ranch owners is the type of people trekking through their land.
Linda Vickers never wanders away from her house without her trusty canine companions – Blitz, Elsa, Schotten and Tinkerbell.
The dogs provide a sense of security in a land of insecurity.
“The safety factor out here has changed,” Vickers said…
It’s not just gang members that worry Vickers. Border Patrol agents arrested a wanted murderer near Falfurrias and sex offenders in the Rio Grande Valley last weekend.
“They’re everywhere,” Vickers said.
Border Patrol Spokesman Oscar Saldana said criminals won’t turn themselves in like families and unaccompanied children.
The children act (consciously or unconsciously) as a screen, like the person who distracts the mark while the pickpocket goes to work.
What would prevent someone from flying really poor people from China, India or Africa to Ciudad Juarez and then just send them across the border?
I’d also be afraid, not just of gang members or other criminals, but the fact that these people are desperate and desperate people will often do things that they might otherwise not do.
So, yep, Linda Vickers keeping her dogs with her is a very good idea.
An American soldier sits in a Mexican jail for mistakenly entering Mexico with firearms, yet, Mexican authorities were (also mistakenly we hope) shooting at US border guards. So we say “oh, that’s okay, it was just a mistake.” Yet do nothing to bring that American home. (I cannot help but wonder if that soldier were black if Obama, Jesse Hymie-town Jackson, et al. wouldn’t be speaking loud and clear)
Everyday I keep reading, or hearing about, some of the things going on and I do wonder if we aren’t living history – the fall of our wonderful republic.
Cornhead:
The flying part would depend on Mexico’s immigration laws, which I hear are pretty strict. Mexico doesn’t enforce them for land travel from Central America because it winks at them due to payoffs. But people coming from abroad into airports would almost certainly run into the formal official Mexican customs agents. I suppose they could pay them off, though it doesn’t seem most of the governments you mention would see this as a good approach because (a) it’s not cheap; and (b) their population problems are so enormous that a few planeloads wouldn’t help. It would have to be an unbelievably large influx to do them any good.
What I am more concerned about is groups of terrorists coming from the Middle East or northern Africa or Europe as tourists, and then just coming across the border.
Of course, they seem to be able to come here pretty freely, too, so why not skip the Mexican middleman?
The border states have a right to take the law into their own hands and DO SOMETHING!
no questions asked. just secure that border however they need to and ESCORT them south of our land, wish them well and send them off.
Maybe they get tourista drinking our water. Go home.
This is more than any legal citizens of any nation should endure. It starts with Obama. How long must we endure that demonic little man?
The Federal government has abdicated its duty to control the border.
So I think Texas would be within its rights as a state to patrol the river 24/7 with boats and turn back illegals before they reach dry land. I know Texas has some boats for that purpose and it could rent more. It could also deputize citizens for that purpose.
If Rick Perry wants a political future he should do this.
Cornhead:
Perry did do something like that. But the state does not have the sort of funds the feds have, so it’s somewhat limited. And the feds aren’t helping.
Needs a big media splash showing what Texas is doing. Embed Greta or Hannity in a Texas boat patrol. Megyn in a bikini would be a real viewer draw.
CNN, on the other hand, is running a “documentary” on an illegal journalist. This clown had a speaking engagement at Carleton College and the Rice County Sheriff arrested him for a traffic offense. He didn’t have a driver’s license and he got jailed. Missed his speech. Illegal, stupid and famous. True story.
Wait until these kids hit the schools, next year. They wont be able to contain the problems from getting out. Liberal are always for things until it directly affects them.
I don’t know why the border states don’t activate the national guard.
The War has Not Yet Begun.
Wait for it. Wait for it.
It’s been getting bad for years, along the border, but now it’s a crisis. People are flooding into the border towns, and they hardly know where to stash them – the living ones, and the dead as well. There was a story in the Daily Mail of these refugees being stashed at Lackland AFB – looked to be in one of the old 1,000 man dorms; four story tall buildings with a mess hall, offices and classrooms on the ground floor, and then three stories of open-bay dorms. Normally, each bay sleeps fifty people, lord knows how they are being arranged now.
Yes, this is an attempt to crash the system, Cloward-Piven style — and this administration has arranged it deliberately.
If thousands of young foreign men crossed our border with helmets, uniforms, rifles and combat boots we would naturally call it an invasion. But if they do so in ordinary clothes it’s “immigration”. I don’t see the difference unless they’re crossing with US visas, which they are not. And let’s not forget that we now have Mexican military choppers crossing the border and shooting at marked US border agents–accidentally, of course.
The next one needs to have an accidental but very brief encounter with a US SAM or MANPAD. Accidentally, of course.
As for the sex criminals, gang members and other miscreants crossing the border, things could get out of control for them. True, they have no fear of deportation, but they need not have such fears. We have lots of empty desert, and no one will miss them. We do not need our current “government” to protect ourselves, and they may want to reconsider whether or not they need OUR protection. This is going to get real….
Has the federal government given up sovereignty of Texas? If so they really don’t have jurisdiction. Or taxing authority anymore. Governing is a two way street.
And let’s not forget that we now have Mexican military choppers crossing the border and shooting at marked US border agents—accidentally, of course.
That’s been happening for awhile. Mexican military formations have been hunting drug cartel people and shooting at US forces for the last 4 years at least. Nobody does anything, of course, because the ATF and Eric Holder says so.
If you “take the law” into your own hands, remember that DHS and the National Guard, federal level, are authorized to use hunter killer drones to kill US citizens, for being terrorists, without warrant or court process.
If you “take the law” into your own hands, remember that DHS and the National Guard, federal level, are authorized to use hunter killer drones to kill US citizens, for being terrorists, without warrant or court process.
What stops them from doing that now, Comrade Kulak…?
You think some of these rural TX counties whose tax revs come from the landowners that are being ruined are going to look real hard for mass graves? You dont have to kill them, either, just pen them up without water. Gee they died of dehydration, And scatter their bodies near the migrant trails.
I don’t want to hear about “innocents” and “they were just children”. The Left has been flooding us with this stuff forever.
An excuse to get the death squads off from the golfing and Reid’s prostitute havens.
Every sovereign nation has a right to protect its borders. From invaders, from dangerous agricultural pests/diseases, from communicable disease, and from illegal, dangerous squatters who insert themselves into the country. That is what those illegal aliens of whatever age/ethnicity are – illegal squatters. In countries with little or no rule of law, such as you find in South and Central America, squatting on property is one way to take it. It is theft and coercion. The fact that certain businesses have wanted people to come north to work and the government has turned a blind eye to the practice does not make it right. In fact, it has been a growing cancer on this nation.
Since the last amnesty in 1986 some 20 – 40 million have come here and stayed. This could all be solved in two steps.
1. Secure the borders.
2. Provide an extremely difficult standard for those who came illegally and want to stay as guest workers. None of this BS about, “They came here for love.” Or, “We have to provide them with a path to citizenship.” If they are have not committed other crimes and have jobs, they can stay. Otherwise, they have to go. They are illegal squatters. We owe them nothing!
None of it will be easy. Nothing worth doing ever is.
Our country is being invaded and our C-in-C is doing nothing. Join the effort to get our lawmakers to pay attention to this. My Congress Critters are feeling the heat on this issue. They answer my e-mails almost immediately. If an issue isn’t hot, it takes three weeks or longer. We have to keep up the pressure. A Republican controlled Senate will be a shot in the arm for forcing the administration to do something about this invasion.
Take a look at Michael David Lynch’s site. Buy a video and give the two free ones to other people. It’s a small thing, but unless we get involved, nothing is going to happen. MDL’s site is here:

Texas is getting some relief — LA Times: “Adults with children being held in overcrowded Border Patrol facilities in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas will be moved to Border Patrol stations in [California’s] Imperial Valley and the San Diego area, officials announced late Friday.”
Hello boys and girls, welcome to my neighborhood.
Can you say Mr. Ortega? I knew that you could.
I’d like you to meet my best friend, Mr. M-16.
He wants you to fire at all those people who are mean.
He does. Yes he does. At all the people who are rude.
Will you do it?. I knew that you would.
The last time I hunted quail Southwest of Nogales, AZ, just a few miles from the border, was 18 years ago. The Mexicans then had covered multiple square miles of the landscape with plastic bags y jugs, discarded backpacks, shoes (?), clothes. I found a human skeleton there, bones and boots only. We made a mistake and called the County sheriff; turns out the remains had to be analysed and an identification (!) if possible made. This cost the County time, effort, and thousands of dollars…to what purpose? Who knew it would come to its present state? The moral of the story is never trust your government. Never. Not here, not in Europe or the ME, or anywhere That’s what we’ve come to. The Great Leveling.
If I were the governor of Texas, I’d load as many as I could into school busses, give them a posse of Texas Rangers, drive them to DC and dump them on the White House lawn. Time it
for when there’s a major ceremony there so BO is guaranteed to be off the golf course and at home. “Please take care of the children, you’re so much better at it than we are.” Alinsky or Cloward-Piven, whatever …
Even better, show up in Manhattan in time for the Today Show and dump them all on Al Roker, live. Announce that the entire editorial staff of the NYT, ABC, NBC, and CBS have offered to each adopt at least two of the children. Because they care. Are you willing to adopt one of theses cute kids (we’ll ignore those MI-13 tatoos)?
Since we know how strict Mexico is about immigration, I’m wondering why Mexico is allowing these people from Central and South America to cross through on their way to America. Think Obama made a deal w/Mexico’s President to allow this? It’s clear that this was months in the planning with those January DHS job postings.
This is frightening – we have no idea what the long term impacts of it will be. While it would seem to be a quick way to get a bunch of new Democrat voters, I think this will Cloward-Piven a lot of institutions long before they adjust well enough to their new surroundings to vote. An influx of people w/HIV is not only a risk for a spread of the disease, they will likely take up hospital & Medicaid resources. And why would they bother following any of our laws (if they even know what’s unlawful here) when they’ve been helpfully escorted from the border to another state after breaking our immigration laws? And it’s not like they’ll all just stay put wherever they’ve bee deposited, especially the criminals among them.
* * * *
I noticed that they’re now being referred to “migrants” instead of “Immigrations” – anyone know the significance of this?t
The Ruling Class thinks they have the frog in the water. But just like Tunisia, something trivial and unexpected will blow the lid off (I hope!).
Obama & Holder are holding America down for the rest of the world to rape her.
Against Our Will. All of us, against our will.
Get on your phones…
Call every European that wants to save themselves — a trip across the pond can be a one-way affair. (It works for Russians all the time. Half my town seems to be over-stayed Russian ‘visitors.’)
Such a flood of Europeans would have Barry stopping his program in his tracks.
Get it?
This only ends with civil disobedience.
And now Drudge is linking to an NYPost article sating that Chinese teens are entering the US via Mexico. We are being invaded.
DC, and what do the Ruling Doctors have to say about this?
The Chinese who dislike Communist China, ain’t so stupid they would wait in ICE line for 10 years, while Mexicans get in free with healthcare and jobs guarantees.
So Hussein would have to get kill black babies on tv and then… what, his approval poll would drop by 10 pts?
Since Hussein is already raping American women and children… what’s his approval at now?
