Remember Cash for Clunkers?
The administration gave the same thoughtful consideration and practical experience to the design of Obamacare.
The administration gave the same thoughtful consideration and practical experience to the design of Obamacare.
An important piece of evidence:
“The computer system was overloaded, according to the dealers. They said they would finish one page in the application, hit enter and nothing would happen. Eventually a message would appear notifying the dealer that the page had ‘timed out.’ Tom Frew, the business manager at Galpin Motors in Los Angeles, said that he needed 35 tries to register…”
Which shows that the administration has been incompetent in exactly the same way on other programs as it has been with Obamacare.
Which is evidence supporting the “fool” rather than “knave” position.
Matt_SE:
There’s nothing either-or about it.
Fool and knave works for me, and has for quite some time.
Tee hee. 🙂
But seriously, there’s no reason for Obama to have been a knave about Cash for Clunkers. It wasn’t an important program, as demonstrated by its short lifespan. It was a bone thrown to the greenies.
Obamacare is the president’s signature legislation. He has an incentive to lie about it, if for no other reason than ego. Then, there’s the idea that it is a Trojan horse which would require lies to keep up the pretense, etc.
If these programs fail in the same way despite having differing importance and motivations behind them, it’s a sign of Obama’s ability to execute.
…unless the whole thing’s a “triple bluff”!!!!
(Damn, he really *is* a genius!) Pfttthhh!
Used cars and used parts taken out of the economy and turned into scrap metal destined for shipment to China. What a waste of resources!
