A story that many would not recognize as having long term significance. Many might ask when gasoline prices will go lower or if natural gas prices are headed lower. Some may understand the geo-political meaning. But the MSM will not.
All this discovery of new fossil fuels here in the U.S. contains the seeds of our eventual victory over violent Muslim jihadism. It will take time, maybe 25-40 years, but if we grasp the meaning of it and seize the opportunity, it could be less.
Assuming Democrats don’t nationalize it and ration it out to their cronies.
And if the people of NY state gets their heads out of their collective ass, they will be richer than the Saudis and the UAE combined. They’re sitting on reserves of natural gas in shale formations that are unimaginably large.
But as long as urban legends about hydraulic fracturing are treated as scientific facts, they will be the largest population of people in history to be have been swindled out of a vast fortune – all at the expense of a few corrupt politicians whose livelihoods depend on maintaining a majority base of needy ignoramuses and poorly informed drones.
The popular counter propaganda line is that fracking is environmentally polluting, so we can’t have that. Or that other thing. Or that other thing. But windmills that kill birds, that is good because Democrats own those businesses.
Why yes, that makes perfect sense.
Thanks for the attempt at good news but my hopes fell when I saw the topic. The shale oil boon is real but there are some issues with the inflated expectations. We have lots of relatively affordable oil now but the “25-40” year out range sure is out on the proverbial limb.
Forgot to include most important part…this is BOE the EIA is talking about – Barrels of Oil Equivalent. That includes everything from actual crude, natgas, condensates, refinery gains, etc. NOT JUST OIL – so this article can easily mislead.
