This guy…
…just noticed that Obama has a hubris problem?
And he thinks it’s only a second-term phenomenon? Where has he been, on planet Xenon?
Then again, maybe he’s just warning Obama that it’s getting more noticeable; even the riffraff can tell. Or maybe Obama’s habit of almost constantly treating the press with contempt has finally pissed them off. Especially since Obama is increasingly seen as losing the sequester battle.
God, I am so glad I’m some uneducated redneck who couldn’t get the nuance of the this snotty little popinjay pretend man who befouls his office and beclowns this great nation . No, I had the Lord and Savior pegged from his first ooze from the Chicago septic tank.
Where was this brilliant journalist five plus years ago when the man-child began his quest over the venal and foolish. ? Oh, that’s right, this scribbler had himself firmly in teen aged thrall of the light giver.
Keith Koffler has been critical of Obama for years on his blog http://www.whitehousedossier.com/.
I think the interesting thing is that Politico published this after doing everything in it’s power to get Obama elected twice, consistently shielding Obama from criticism, and actively painting Republicans & conservatives in a negative light. Is this just a throwaway post that they can point to down the road as proof of not being totally in the bag for O, or is there a shift taking place? Either way, they get no credit from me for this recent recognition of Obama’s hubris on their site.
Posted on Politico in response to this guy’s piece:

Not just “in the past several months”, moron. Open your eyes. The guy’s been that way all along. But now that he’s not up for reelection, he gives even less of a #### what you think. (He’s just not that into you — or any of the hoi polloi. Romney would have been more in touch with the people than this dolt.)
END PASTE
That guy better get back into the Left’s plantation or else he’ll be penalized for heresy.
Our BS artist prez’s mouth may have written a check that his actions can’t cash. His statement about the red line on Syria’s use of poison gas has put him in a box. He is so cocky he figures a speech from him makes things happen. Now he can do nothing and look like a wimp or get involved in another war which his lefty base won’t like.
Lizzy says, “Either way, they get no credit from me for this recent recognition of Obama’s hubris on their site.”
Agreed, the MSM propagandists need to grovel on my front porch on their hands and knees and then wash my dogs’ feet before I will cut them an angstrom of slack.
Keith Koffler has been a critic of Obama for years. He’s not some leftist, I assure you; just look at his past posts, and you’ll see he’s as critical of the president as neo is.
Regarding my own M J R post of 9:03 pm:
coolidge, 10:42 pm — “Keith Koffler has been a critic of Obama for years. . . . he’s as critical of the president as neo is.”
If this is so, and taking into account as well the Lizzy post of 8:48 pm, then I owe Koffler an apology.
Sincerely,
M J R
I think that any second term president will begin to be torn down by even their own, as weak as even this criticism is, it’s as much as libs do to one such as him. I wouldn’t take it as any kind of serious issue. He’s a lame duck anyway, and both parties tear down in an attempt to rebuild the next candidate.
During the 2008 presidential campaign I began counting how often Senator Obama use first-person pronouns plus the royal ‘we’ in his speeches. The frequency was startling–at times averaging once per sentence is a moderately long speech. The pattern was consistent, not unique to a particular speech.
That verbal behavior seemed significant to me, but it did not impress those to whom I commented about it. They attributed it to a less formal, more personal, even more open expression.
Persons will hear what they want to hear–at least for a long time.
“He’s a lame duck anyway, and both parties tear down in an attempt to rebuild the next candidate.”
True if one is thinking of Republicans and Democrats tearing down a real threat, such as anti-corruption based Sarah Palin. Not even a Leftist spy agency could hack into any dirt there.
The idea that the Left and their political enemies are on equal footing and both fighting under the same rules, is however rather misplaced.
Considering the things this guy writes, http://www.whitehousedossier.com/2013/04/25/bush-grows-emotional-speech/
it seems he has already been excommunicated from the journalist herd, not being a faithful member of the Left.
I wonder why he had to make his own website. Was working with his peers getting to be too difficult behind that Iron Curtain? Could he not report what he wanted to report concerning the White House. Also was he the guy that left the White House correspondents group right before Obama was instituted in the White House, said to be by one source as a loyal Democrat?
Of course he treats them with contempt. As I always say, nobody respects a whore.
Notsoheavy, I read your remark to my husband, he nearly spit out his coffee !
“. . . the MSM propagandists need to grovel on my front porch on their hands and knees and then wash my dogs’ feet before I will cut them an angstrom of slack.”
Parker,
I’m disappointed; you’re getting soft in your older age. For me, there is no possible reprieve. When they write/broadcast something that approximates real journalism it reminds me that even a stopped clock is correct twice a day.
‘ . . . nobody respects a whore.”
Bingo! We know what they are. All we see from time to time is the market-fluctation of their price.
What’s the difference between journalists and the papparazzi? The papparazzi admit that they do it for money and fame.
Come to think of it, “journalists” have taken us to the point that they actually make all the old lawyer jokes look mean-spirited.
It seems to me that besides an ego without bounds, he’s also petty and vindictive. Those qualities aren’t exactly what you look for in a president – who has practically unlimited power. When I saw the gun control tantrum, I couldn’t help feel he was struggling to contain rage. That wasn’t the first time I sensed he’s like a dam ready to break- it’s as if he’s been struggling not to exercise power he knows he can assume..
Leaders inspire, and people follow; they don’t bully their subordinates or use their position to force their will on others. All great leaders, on some level, instinctively know and remember this:
Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. Proverbs:16:18
Obama has no such instinct. If Islam teaches something similar, but he obviously missed it there too.
Even if you got rid of nasty old Obama, the Left has dictators a plenty who are more mean, ruthless, and megalomaniac to begin with.
People make too big a deal about their leaders.
Did you see this? (hat tip Ace)
Obama Observed Boston Moment of Silence All By Himself. Well, If You Don’t Count the Photographer.
hello!,I love your writing very so much! percentage we communicate extra about your post on AOL?
I need an expert in this area to resolve my problem. Maybe that is you!
Having a look ahead to peer you.
Writing so much communicating we are LOL in the void. Experts choking they were peer review resolve they are.
T,
An angstrom of slack is the distance the noose closes when the horse gets a whack on the hindquarters. After the groveling and dog feet washing of course.
I saw that and had the same reaction. The closer was a howler:
“If Obama starts to get too grand a sense of himself and sheds the last vestiges of concern for how others perceive him, it could lead him, as it has so many in positions of power, to believe he is beyond accountability. And that could end up as a tragedy for him, and for the nation.”
“If”?????
It is certainly true that Obama is not the problem. He is the symptom. The problem is that Liberals are mentally deranged and morally corrupted bona fide rotten because corrupted sociopathic children who look like they should be grown ups.
All Liberals are no good, insofar as they are Liberals. If they have other dimensions of themselves, fine. Precisely as Liberals, they are more dangerous to America than every terrorist organization combined, North Korea even if it nukes us, and Iran on steroids. All of those things we could recover from or defeat.
But they Liberal? They are exactly THE problem. As long as we refuse to see the actual problem we have, we will never even dream of solving it. A good place to start is with Evan Sayet’s recent partial book called “The Kindergarden of Eden”. It’s one or tow chapters of a longer work, not yet finished. Well worth reading.
I prefer ‘Our Lard and Sewage, Barack Insane Owebama’.
