Some things… — 23 Comments

  1. I’m sure it’s not beyond parody. I’m waiting for the “Hitler finds out about Obama’s registry” vid, for one thing…

  2. Worshipful idiot socialist godless flunkies + Valerie Jarrett as the final decision maker. That is the only way something this idiotic could have happened.

  3. I was originally going to give Gramps a fine funeral, but now that I’ve seen this suggestion and plea, grampa is going to the city dump, and all that cash will go to support our great, heroic “Maximum Leader.”

P.S.–I think another fine idea would be to send to the Obama campaign, not the money that was to be used for the wedding but, the end result; all the debris–the stepped on pieces of wedding cake scraped off of the floor, the left over food, empty bottles, smashed wine glasses, and left behind wrappings, the plastic trash bags from the rest rooms where the bridal party and guests barfed after too much alcohol intake–probably a few used condoms in there as well. You know, all those unforgettable “memories.”

  4. While I wouldn’t really, and don’t seriously suggest actually doing something like my tongue-in-cheek “wedding” suggestion above, I’m starting to wonder if the Obama campaign doesn’t have some saboteurs in its midst, who are coming up with these asinine, easily made fun of and parodied ideas, intended to sink the Obama campaign effort.

Either that, or the campaign is really being run by a bunch of moronic, college age stoners; an “in house” CHOOM gang spewing out all these “brilliant” ideas. Alternatively–and the idea I like the best–the Obama campaign is in full panic mode, running around like a chicken with its head cut off, and just desperately throwing out ideas–any idea, no matter how moronic–on how to rescue the situation.

The worst interpretation, of course, is that the campaign does, indeed, seriously consider Obama to be the “Great Leader,” and that they were perfectly serious about suggesting these donations, as only a citizen’s rightful duty towards such a “world historical figure” and his holy mission.

  5. Time after time, just when you think that this administration has finally hit bottom you realize that “you ain’t seen nuthin’ yet!”

  6. I have a theory about this incessant fund raising we are all being subjected to. Obama wants to accrue a huge war chest he can take with him when he falls this November. Most likely he will never hold a significant elected office again so his opportunity to funnel significant monies to himself will end.
(Perhaps we can get him abused on a bus & begin an online sympathy donation campaign)

  7. The Boy King has spent 3 1/2 years making my Zero Expectations look beyond naive. My Gawd, this one takes the prize! Lemme guess…The MSM Lapdog pressies will..ummmmm…fail to mention this..?

  8. In the event of the departure of a dearly loved Leftist, in lieu of flowers, a donation to The One — 2012.

    Death! Where is thy sting?

  9. I thought it was kind of funny and sent the link to a friend.

The receiving server rejected it as spam!

  10. I’m impressed at the restraint exercised in limiting the request to weddings. What about birthdays?, engagements?, Bar-Mitzvahs?, communions? I had better stop — might be giving the Obama campaign more ideas.

  11. Also seem to recall an old Saturday Night Live Garrett Morris sketch (from the days when SNL was truly funny) involving a call for getting all those never-used wedding presents out of storage — especially fondue dishes — and donating them for aid to Africa.

    Searched you-tube to no avail.

  12. Wolla Dalbo, I have begun to wonder also if there is a very clever saboteur coming up with notions like this. Perhaps a disgruntled Hillary fan with a long memory?
It’s just that all of a sudden, the Obamsters have become the gang that couldn’t shoot straight. Have they lost their mojo … or did they never have it to begin with … or are they being deliberatly set up by someone inside?

  13. The unemployment rate for young Americans is the highest it’s been since World War II. One out of two recent college grads was unemployed or underemployed last year. Even those who do have jobs lug staggering levels of unbankruptable student loan debt, and statistics say that young people who start their careers in recessions lag behind in their earnings for years after the recession ends. On top of that, if the individual mandate survives, they’re the ones it targets to spend their healthy youths financing the health-care costs of the older, sicker, and possibly richer.

On top of all this, Obama thinks they shouldn’t even get to keep their wedding gifts? Political genius, I tell you!

It’s no wonder Julia never got married.

  14. That got me to thinking.

    My birthday is next month.

In lieu of contributing to President Obama’s campaign, send cash to me.

    Thanks in advance.

  15. John, I will give you TWICE as much as I was planning to donate to BO! Happy Birthday!
