Geena’s eyes and face are ever so slightly wider, but yeah, that’s a remarkable resemblance.
Actually, I thought that first picture WAS Geena, perhaps before she became famous, say in high school or college or something. Before reading, anyway. She’s one of those women who stays on my mind. She is pretty, but unique more than just pretty.
Geena Davis’s picture in Wikipedia looks even more like Brenda Marshall.

In my delirious, postpartum state of mind, I looked at my identical twin infants and noticed that Baby B looked eerily like my younger sister, while Baby A looked like me.
I started crying, thinking maybe my husband was having an affair with my sister and that’s why the twins weren’t so “identical” after all.
Few people know that Geena Davis was born in the Exeter of Costa Rica.
Just watched “Singapore Woman” (1941) and thought these two actresses had to be related. Guess I’m not alone, as I stumbled upon your web site doing a search for any connection between them.
