What a dream for we old codgers. To be able to play with the whipper snappers for real would be cool. Unfortunately, they haven’t discovered the magic elixir that would let a gray beard kick up his heels like that……….yet. In the meantime we can watch Uncle Drew and dream.

I’m 34 and can barely play basketball anymore- at least, not in a manner where I don’t end up hurt or sore for days at a time. Time to hang it up and move onto golf. It’s a amazing what a brief moment athletes really have- years of training, and then maybe 4-5 years of real elite skill combined with advanced knowledge before the skill part fades.
