Did Obama get on the Indiana ballot in the 2008 primaries due to forged signatures? — 23 Comments

  1. The more I learn about the president and his fellow henchmen, the more I’m convinced that this administration is not just misguided, it is evil. And the sorry excuses that make up the national media, who continue to prop him up and shed precious little light on such treachery (now just as in 2008) are knowingly complicit.

  2. Tesh is exactly right. As long as the MSM carries BHO banner, then the everyday people who don’t frequent political blogs like this one, will assume everything is OK with the President.

I know yellow journalism has always existed, I’m just surprised how in lock step the MSM/Democratic party is today. And yes, I’m stumped about what any of us can do about it.

  3. Ok, this blog has officially turned into a joke. A rather bad joke at that.

We can’t try crooks on Wall Street, there’s no way anyone is going to care about whether our corrupt President committed ballet fraud.

We can’t protect our own liberties at home , who cares anyway?

  4. Paradoxically, and perhaps surprisingly, I’m not fussed about this, for a number of reasons.

    First, it doesn’t surprise me.

Second, it’s small beer. A hundred or two forged signatures? Yawn.

Third, Dem engage in electoral chicanery? Stop press. Even if it is against each other.

Fourth, there’s nothing to be done about it now. Much as I yearn to see the last of Obama, any action against him now would be further destabilizing for a country that’s already skittish.

Fifth, there are much bigger fish to fry, viz., turning off address verification on credit cards to circumvent campaign laws (so that, e.g., foreigners could donate, and others could exceed donation limits). (I won’t even start on Soros.)

So I see this more than anything as a distraction to getting Obama’s funky butt out of the White House in 2013.

  5. So, tell me, Neo, in view of all the shit Obama & Co. have thusfar pulled, do you really think that this was the only state in which this fraudulent way of getting on the ballot was taken?

  6. I think the bigger issue is how Party activists packed the caucuses for Obama. IIRC, Hillary! won all of the actual primaries, but Obama won in the caucuses. Lemme see, what highly organized and disciplined cadre on the left could pull off something like that? Must think, must think …

  7. Don’t discount this story as minor. Just removing from Obama from office would still allow the lefties to make him into some sort of hero thereby paving the way for another Obama. But taint him with irrefutable proof of electoral fraud and he is discredited beyond redemption.

Although this will probably not cost him a percentage point in Gallup and Rasmussen it should plant a few seeds of doubt in the some naive Obami minds. Hopefully seeds that will grow and fester when nourished with unending revelations of corruption.

Ballet fraud? I’m surprised Neo’s not all over that.

  9. I think the average Obama supporter assumes he got where he is by cheating and could care less.

  10. But taint him with irrefutable proof of electoral fraud and he is discredited beyond redemption.

Would that that were true, Bob, but I doubt it is. After all, JFK is widely known to have stolen the 1960 election, but that didn’t affect his reputation at all. And as for Obama, if hanging out with Reds, terrorists, and lunatics didn’t budge the needle, forging a few signatures certainly won’t.

Sorry to be cynical, but that’s my take.

I also don’t want to set a precedent of trying to overturn elections through judicial action, because sure as God made green apples, the Reds will try that for every election they lose thereafter. Within very broad limits, an election is an election, however flawed it may be.

  11. Mr. Beard is correct. For the entire eight years that George W Bush (whom may God save!) was in the White House, the Left tried to make his close electoral victory in Florida into a stolen election. Those of us who, even as (in my case) Democrats, had actually worked with elections, and with punch card ballots, and were not so far gone down the Red path that we could not be deterred by mere fact, could see that the fraud was committed by the Gore crowd. You’ll still hear them say “The Supreme Court awarded the election to Bush.” It’s a matter of record that they did no such thing. They stopped the selective “recounts” in four Democrat majority counties. At that, the Dems gave up their court fight, merely continuing it in the media, which has, ahem, much more flexible rules of evidence.

  12. The Democrats have won every close race in this country for over 100 years by cheating on the election. The 2000 Florida election was their most obvious example. Even after a huge effort they lost and fully intended to steal it in the recount. We all got to wacth them at work.

  13. Wolla Dalbo:

No, I don’t think it’s the only state where it happened, but I don’t know what the rules are about getting on the ballot in other states. Indiana required 500 signatures from each county for each candidate. I assume that, as a major candidate and one of the two front runners, Obama could have legitimately obtained the requisite 500 signatures from each county in Indiana, so I’m not sure why the chicanery.

During the 2008 campaign I heard a lot more about fraud by Obama’s people at the caucuses, especially in Texas. A lot of Hillary supporters were very very disturbed by it.

  14. “there are much bigger fish to fry, viz., turning off address verification on credit cards to circumvent campaign laws (so that, e.g., foreigners could donate, and others could exceed donation limits). ”

That was the one that outraged me the most when I heard about it. Can you imagine how the MSM would have been all over it if there had been even a hint of this with a Republican? As usual, it comes back to the utter intellectual and moral bankruptcy of the MSM.

  15. The most that could come of this particular case–if it were pursued vigorously and successfully to a conclusion–would be to invalidate Obama’s 11 electoral votes in Indiana. Unfortunately, that would still leave him with 354, 80 or so more than required to win. However, the pattern is clear: Democrats cheat and get away with it, thereby winning some close elections. Republicans either don’t cheat, or they’re much better at not getting caught. I’m thinking it’s the former, because the press would be all over allegations of GOP election chicanery like a cheap suit.

The next question is what to do about it, and frankly, if neither the public nor the Republicans give a rat’s a$$ about Dems stealing elections, then there probably isn’t much that can be done. When the U.S. has a “Justice” Department that refuses to even investigate very credible allegations of voter intimidation (NBPP in Philadelphia), and the GOP says nary a word about it, it’s clear that the GOP is more interested in going along to get along than it is in rooting out the long-established corrupt practices of its opponents. What’s a few signatures to them as long as the GOP incumbents retain their seats? Good luck to Prosecutor Dvorak, but I’ll be surprised if this gains much momentum beyond St. Joseph County.

  16. Of course they are… but what can be done about it?

Not much… years ago i constantly battled people who were the picture of being reasonable and seeming more rational for always taking that position. Huxley being the key person that comes to mind.

the trick was to figure it out before not after
    after is easy, its hindsight
extrapolating honestly without mapping your wishing onto it too, that’s a different game

the one thing we didn’t want to happen that we didn’t believe in, was the one thing we never bothered to even try to prevent, because we didn’t believe it was possible. to the point of actually pushing back to those who did believe it was possible, and would have liked a response of merit holding people to the rules and the protections we already had.

even now there is enough politically correct atmosphere that people are not holding others to merit, they are waiting for the women of the view to tell them how to feel so they are not wrong. (its what makes women more ‘manageable’ by administration, they wait to see where someone else goes first to be safer)

so like deer in the headlights we just sit around and do nothing as everything is moved and paid off with the future monies, and we ignore the denial of all the cases questioning the same issue of legitimacy.

a masculine culture would hold people to measurable merit and accept unbalanced outcomes as reality randomly blesses and curses on top of our efforts.

but a feminized culture waits till they hear which way the herd should move to play it safe. they wait till they hear the consensus around them so that they are not the one lady out of synch with the other ladies. and whether they go, the rest follow, for who can oppose such a sure group as those who wait for the right answer first?

needless to say they achieved their freedom and in the few short years of having it, they enslaved themselves, their children, and marginalized the only defenders that cared for them themselves.

With all the negative going on, the fact we are unsure who would win this election is telling you how much the fix is in. if not, we wouldn’t be wondering? we deep down known and are expressing the fact that like the current election in Russia, land of the reset button, the elections were gamed.

and now we are finding out the last elections were gamed, and this time its going to be easier? oh well…

sure seems that we had to catch some other disease as long as we loved our cancers… or rather, allowed them to inject such negative advice into our GIGO units so that freedom equaled self destruction rather than enlightened expansion.

[hey Waltj, i will be in your neck of the woods come the next day or so… Aku cinta Indonesia! 🙂 ]

  17. Situation Room Photo Fake!
    The clip is in Swedish…

Titta noga, bilden fré¥n Vita husets ”Situation room” i samband med Bin Ladins dé¶d rymmer ett imponerande fel… Kan du uppté¤cka det?

translation: Look closely, the picture from the White House “Situation Room” in connection with Bin Laden’s death holds an impressive wrong … Can you detect it?

basically they are using software to detect Photoshop changes. and our leader is pulling Stalin type games with images and the reality people see…

In this case, they are putting him into the situation room so that he was part of the Bin Laden thing…

[Google has a Marxist montage up too…]

here let the university of Minnesota clue you in to the past that is repeating (but i don’t know what good it will do as the repeating of Riefenstahl didn’t register, nor did the playing of the “Internationale”)

    Falsification of history

do note the second set of images, since Obama and Nikolai Yezhov look quite a bit like each other in the photo…

what remains of the free market, internet, and so on, keeps fouling them up from an easy game…. but its only enough to annoy…

Standard tools in photoshop C3 and beyond allow one to to know about image manipulation. its the public that is told what to think that thinks that those looking cant tell, and so its question remains, and so they can remain thinking what they want.

from the latest long birth cert, to the original colb, to images like this… and even other images as they set up the environment and positioned photographers to maximize such…

How to Detect a Photoshopped Image
    lifehacker.com/5644259/how-to-detect-a-photoshopped-image

  18. The problem is not detection, Art; it is what to do about it. And the other posters above indicate both palms up, what can you do?
There does not seem to be a non-violent option.

  19. But, you see, such liberties taken by Democrats are justified as compensating for the onerous requirements on voting as enacted by Republicans. Requiring pre-registration, proof of residence, or of still being alive are all right-wing tactics of disenfranchisement.

    /sarcasm

The righties do have more integrity about how they garner their share of power in the bi-factional ruling party’s government. Having a battle over voting procedures would move me more if I believed there was a faction that would have the same integrity once they were in power.

As it stands, the whole thing is sufficiently corrupt that these small and historical battles aren’t worth the resources they consume. At least for national races. Local races really can be decided by handfuls of votes, and cheating changes outcomes.

If we could have foiled Obama’s cheating in the IL Senate race, we wouldn’t have to put up with him now. Who is the next Obama getting onto the first rung of the power ladder?

  20. Yup, i said that long ago, when everyone was so reasonable they decided to give the scorpion a chance and try to cross the river.. RATHER Than find something else that needed no such chance

out of 300 or so million people, they had to give one with very questionable associations every benefit of the doubt…

about all that might be done is

    http://www.singingrevolution.com/

Though it was not one nation, estonia, who tries to take the credit, but it was the BALTICS, which is three countries…

    as can be read here:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singing_Revolution

The Singing Revolution is a commonly used name for events between 1987 and 1991 that led to the restoration of the independence of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The term was coined by an Estonian activist and artist, Heinz Valk, in an article published a week after the June 10—11, 1988, spontaneous mass night-singing demonstrations at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds

Something like the tea party an Flash mobs in public places doing the best of the old patriotic songs that show how much we love America…

After World War II the Baltic States had been fully incorporated into the USSR after military occupation and annexation first in 1940 and then again in 1944.

From 1987, a cycle of mass demonstrations featuring spontaneous singing eventually collected 300,000 Estonians in Tallinn to sing national songs and hymns that were strictly forbidden during the years of the Soviet occupation, as Estonian rock musicians played.

On 14 May 1988, the first expression of national feeling occurred during the Tartu Pop Music Festival. Five patriotic songs were first performed during this festival. People linked their hands together and a tradition had begun

    and in latvia

On June 14, 1987, the anniversary of the 1941 deportations, the human rights group “Helsinki-86”, which had been founded a year earlier, organised people to place flowers at the Freedom Monument (Latvia’s symbol of independence that was erected in 1935). This was an unprecedented event that demonstrated the rebirth of national self-confidence in Latvia.

On June 1 and 2, 1988, the Writers’ Union held a congress during which the democratisation of society, Latvia’s economic sovereignty, the cessation of immigration from the USSR, the transformation of industry and the protection of Latvian language rights were discussed by delegates. Over the course of this conference, for the first time in post-war Latvia, the secret protocol of the “Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact”, which had determined Latvia’s fate after 1939, was publicly acknowledged

On August 23, 1989, the fiftieth anniversary of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, the People’s Fronts of all three Baltic countries held a huge demonstration of unity – the “Baltic Way”. A 600 km (373 mi) long human “chain” from Tallinn through Riga to Vilnius was assembled. This was a symbolic demonstration of the people’s call for independence from the Soviet Union.

New elections to the Supreme Soviet took place on March 18, 1990, in which the supporters of independence gained a victory. On May 4, 1990, the new Supreme Soviet of the Latvian SSR adopted a motion, “Declaration of Independence”, which called for the restoration of the inter-war Latvian state and the 1922 Constitution

    similar in lituania too

You want to talk about freedom fighters, and all that?

you mostly talk of people your not related to 200 years dead…

when i talk, i talk of people i grew up with, and knew… who in my lifetime had fought for their freedom against a brutal murderous totalitarian state…

Learn from history, it offers answers to both sides…

  21. The more I see of the zerO, the more I believe that he is trying to destroy the exceptional essence of the USA. When he finally leaves office (whether in 1 year or in 5 years), I would not at all be surprised if he would (in a big F You to this country) admit that he was never legally qualified to be President either because of the circumstances of his birth, his later adoption, his use of the Chicago way in obtaining primary signatures, or a dozen other facts of his hidden past that might have disqualified him.

Can you imagine the ABSOLUTE LEGAL CHAOS that would ensue from such a revelation? The legality of all of his acts as President would be challenged. The would be calls for loosening the requirements for future presidents. He would have succeeded in completing the ultimate Cloward-Piven strategy.

The only good that I can possibly see coming out of such a situation is that he would lose his lifetime Secret Service protection.

  22. Did you hear that the NAACP wants the UN Human Rights Commision to condemn us for wanting voter ID? This is just another little piece like ACORN and Holder and the Black Panthers that will eventually backfire on the radicals. Even if Obama was not directly involved in the Indiana thing, his total record shows no great reverence for the sanctity of the vote.
