Quite reminds me of the civility of the SOTU audience.
Tom: you hit the nail on the head. In fact, I found this video when I was searching for a video of the very last scene of “West Side Story,” where a few members of the two warring sides come together briefly to carry the body of Tony off the stage. I never did find a video of it that was clear enough, but I had been planning to put it in a post about the seating arrangements at the SOTU.
Instead, I found this.
I love it when Norm says, “Oh, this is not good,” when his compatriots come dancing/flitting to his rescue.
I *LOVE* West Side Story. But yes, Norm’s reaction is the correct one for people who can’t suspend reality while watching a musical.
