Iowahawk nails the Palin conspiracists
What the rest of us drone on about seriously and far more tediously, Iowahawk skewers with wit.

He’s got a gift. That was good.
Thanks for linking to it and to expat for the heads up.
Wonderful, and makes more sense than the original lunatic media ravings.
He he

uh oh.
National Review dissing Palin??

But why?
Here’s a little caption about Henry Payne:
Henry Payne is the editorial cartoonist for The Detroit News. Payne produces twelve cartoons a week. He also writes for WS journal, Nat Review, and Other publications.
I noticed Payne writes mostly on the subject “Planet Gore,” for National Review.
So, it’s not the National Review, but this particular writer.
It would appear he sides with those who are very sensitive about making general statements regarding Islam and Muslims. He obviously believes Muslims like the Imam Rauf, the stealth jihadist who recently was replaced as the organizer for the Ground Zero Mosque. In fairness to Payne so does Ilya Simon, a writer for the Volokh Conspiracy, who is giving the Imam “another look.”
Pamela Gellar at Atlasshrugs has quite a lot of info on Iman Rauf.
Iowahawk is a gift.
I agree with Frank Lloyd Wright on something else, pointing toward the MSM and alphabet networks: “I’m all for keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of fools. Let’s start with typewriters.”
In case anyone missed it, a petition is circulating in Pima County to place Dupnik’s recall on the next ballot.
Further to my previous, google punditpress for article.
I was just reading the LSD thread at Ace’s. Iowahawk showed up there. Imagine that.
He pops up at Ace’s from time to time. It’s quite nifty.
So…
That wasn’t Wikileaks?
Baklava and Curtis,
Today’s NRO piece by Andy McCarthey pretty much demolishes Payne’s piece. NRO hasn’t lost it.

Well done satire. Proof that the pen can often be mightier than the sword. And laugh out loud funny when Iowahawk’s in the saddle.
That was priceless!!!
@blert – Oh good! I wasn’t the only one thinking that!! LOL!!!
McCarthy’s piece: A thing of beauty. Thanks, expat.
I hope McCarthy, or someone of his caliber, would write a “Palin is electable,” piece. The RINO’s and insufferable elitists have exposed themselves by their sniping. This includes Gingrich and Pawlenty and Christie.
McCarthy’s piece is worth framing. It’s that good. Chock full of fact–The article explains stealth jihad, the Muslim Brotherhood, what “libel” is, Payne’s shallowness, Palin’s rectitude, and the two faces of Imam Rauf–it also offers great snippets like these: “resolutely uncurious,” “mendacious puff piece,” and “one needn’t be a politician to concede the obvious.”
Satire is the best weapon. We need more comedians. We need to close the Comedian Gap.
