Congressional Democrats express anger at Obama… — 30 Comments

  1. It’s a common refrain among adolescents when talking to those who are paying their bills: “you just don’t understand!”

  2. This reminds me of a government office where I “worked”. It was their nature that once they did something stupid they would follow it up by doing something even dumber and that would be considered the fix.

  3. … while party liberals renewed their complaint that Obama should abandon the pretense of bipartisanship…

    Sometimes the truth sneaks out.

  4. Soros told them a few days it was ok to attack obama since he isnt finishing the deal and is wavering.

shall i quote him from huffington post?

  5. “The reason is because the public is with us on our policies, but they’re not getting the message.”

What kind of gobbledeegook is this? Somebody needs to be messaged on what policies they stand for. I think the correct word the democrats meant to use was “massaged”.

  6. here it is from the leader of the Shadow Government

George Soros Tells Progressive Donors Obama Might Not Be The Best Investment

According to multiple sources with knowledge of his remarks, Soros told those in attendance that he is “used to fighting losing battles but doesn’t like to lose without fighting.”

“We have just lost this election, we need to draw a line,” he said, according to several Democratic sources. “And if this president can’t do what we need, it is time to start looking somewhere else.”

Michael Vachon, an adviser to Soros, did not dispute the comment, though he stressed that there was no transcript of a private gathering to check. Vachon also clarified that the longtime progressive giver was not referring to a primary challenge to the president.

Woody Allen believes Obama would get more done if he declared himself dictator.
“I am pleased with Obama. I think he’s brilliant. The Republican Party should get out of his way and stop trying to hurt him,” Allen said in an interview published by Spanish language monarchist newspaper La Vanguardia. “It would good… if he could be a dictator for a few years because he could do a lot of good things quickly.”

    and

When asked what President Obama needs to do to prove to Americans that his administration is on top of the Gulf cleanup, Ed Schultz pressed that the President needs to call the shots and go “dictator” in his dealings with BP.

now any one want to go back and read my posts and others posts and such at me from two years ago?

by the way, i do the same thing with products and designs… and no one believes that until its upon them either.

    Leé³ Szilé¡rd
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le%C3%B3_Szil%C3%A1rd

At the start of World War I, Leo was drafted to the front, but came down with influenza and stayed in Vienna for treatment. After the war, Hungary became a Soviet-style republic under communist Bela Kun.
The Jewish population constituting the majority of Hungarian intelligentsia, actively participated in the revolution. This fact served to their great disadvantage when the Fascist regime of Nicholas Horthy took over in 1920. Much like Hitler would do thirteen years later, Horthy initiated racial quotas in universities.

Szilard had to go the Institute of Technology in Berlin, as the admission there was, ironically, more fair than in Hungary. In Berlin, he met several brilliant physicists such as Albert Einstein, Max Von Laue, and Max Planck. Leo could not resist the intellectual atmosphere in the department, and quickly transferred to the study theoretical physics. Although he was new in the subject, he learned quickly, and received his PhD at the age of twenty-three (Bess, p.45).

Szilard and Einstein became close friends, and in 1920 took out a joint patent for liquid refrigerator pumps with no moving parts.

    by the way
that was the same place Soros came from

and so, soros saw bela kuhn and he saw the hitler before hitler we dont know about (i said to read about bela kuhn for many reasons).

that is, hitler was not the first to use these techniques, nor was he the last… its just the public doesnt know it, and is trained to attack any one that even suggests it!

as if preventing the talking would keep it away not help it.

    and
In 1933, the French scientist Joliot announced that the splitting of the atom was possible. However, it was also in 1933 that Hitler’s regime firmly established itself in Germany. Szilard was forced to resign from his position and fled to Vienna. While there, he actively tried to help the Jewish intellectuals in Germany find positions elsewhere and escape.

Of course, Leo could not see the full scale of the coming catastrophe, but something was telling him to do everything possible to get out of Germany.

He moved to London, and later to the United States, where he accepted a teaching position at Columbia University. In 1938, Danish physicist Niels Bohr arrived to New York with the startling news that two German scientists discovered nuclear fission.

    experience, education, attention to detail…

  7. given that i couldnt get many to read about bella kuhn, bella dodd, moses harman and daughter, and other important people the even beck eventyually mentioned, like Gompers…

would any one have read about Nicholas Horthy?
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikl%C3%B3s_Horthy

its like people who come to college to learn a subject but they would rather commiserate and make up crap in the hall then do the work of whats needed to all be on the same knowledgeable page!!!

i should point out that Prague spring is another event

just remember, the socialists are interested and reading this stuff for DECADES, and not reading it is kind of like trying to understand religion and the bible from the lefts missives rather than from the religion and the bible.

    ny times:
“The ‘Lenin Boys’… are well armed with rifles, hand grenades and machine guns. In an American city they would be called gangsters, but in the absence of a responsible Government they are able to act more freely. So far, according to people direct from Budapest, they have committed only robberies, but being of criminal instincts and having power, there is no telling when they may begin greater crimes.

no different than the thugs that are being used to smash things and all that..

but i can mention things that most here would just look and not even have a tiny inkling that it existed..

such is the progressive education most have.

  8. and i said, and argued and was told i was wrong wrong wrong… that food was ok..

now as i said, they are going to control you with food..

House companion Bill, HR 2749, empowers federal bureaucracies to totally prohibit the movement of any and all foods into or out of a given area (Section 133b, “Authority to Prohibit or Restrict the Movement of Food,” sponsored by Congressman Dingell).

you still think the people will protest?

NY has 4 days of food…
how long to starve everyone into compliance?

and i said that military families are on base away from the soldiers. move them “for their own safety” dont tell the personell, and voila, military people will do what you say even if its not what they want.

    its a PROCESS…

    as i have said..

refined so its different, but a collection of what worked in history

there is also S. 510, the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act coming down too.

what people dont get is that its over and lost from the day we elected to put the final piece in place..

that all this bs, is now sealing the deal…

    Gleichschaltung

everyone is looking for the overt effect
and the STRUCTURE comes first then the effect
and if you wait till the effect, you have waited too long to prevent the structure that is making it.

as i said… there will be food riots next year
and even now we are not discussing it..

we are still enthralled with the kabuki dance

  9. Who is this mysterious public they keep talking about and why didn’t they bother to vote on the 2nd? Those of us that got the message voted Republican.

  10. So what does that mean? We The People want what these would be totalitarians are giving us but we’re too stupid to know they’re giving us what we want or, perhaps, it means that we’re even stupider. We’re too stupid to know what we want, too stupid to recognize that we’ve been given what we want, and too stupid to understand when it’s explained to us that we’ve been given what we want.

So all they need to do is speak more slowly using smaller words. We can’t get rid of these people soon enough.

  11. Perhaps the dems are right. I wouldn’t know. I’m way too busy here in south fly-over country clinging to my guns and relegion.

  12. The Dems are half right when they say the people like their policies. People would like free medical care, free college tuition, free drugs, and free housing. However, they don’t want to pay for those things or have the government run those things. Also, they don’t want other people to get those things if they don’t get them.

Very few people believe the federal government is an efficient or cost effective service provider.

  13. Dems: the dogs don’t like the dog food.

    It’s just that simple.

No amount of marketing, no logos, no jingles, no coupons, no promotions can change that fact. We don’t like the dog food.

    Woof!

  14. “With us on the policies…” Really? Do these people really believe this?

I think they might actually believe it. Just like the GQ “Correspondent” who interviewed Biden asked a question like this, “The Health Care Plan and the Stimulus was a success. How do you get that message out better?”

She was stating the question as if it were a fact. Somewhere else Biden said the Stimulus was a rousing success there just wasn’t enough of it. I guess they all read Krugman and believe that crap. La la land.

They need to be mocked for their idiocy. Adults who still believe in Santa Clause should be snickered at.

  15. Here again we see a familiar theme with leftist. Claim a consensus no matter what. See global warming for more instruction.

Pretty soon there will be one democrat left in the marching band and he’ll be the only one in step.

  16. They are, in a large sense, correct.

They ran on reduced spending, overhauling healthcare to be affordable/accessible to everyone, to promote job growth and get the govt out of the way, to bring honesty back into politics (drain the swamp!!!), and to work towards a common goal.

Further the American people certainly aren’t getting this message this is what they are trying to do.

It just turns out how they *implemented* those policies either didn’t do that or only is an implementation of those ideas in their own mind.

For instance, I can’t tell you how often some liberal co-workers truly believe that if Obama had gone Single-Payer that this would not have happened to them. That the American public was over 70% behind that notion. No, the American public was over 70% behind the notion that Insurance companies were not managing health care appropriately – that *doesn’t* mean that want them abolished and the feds to be the only ones giving it out. The disconnect is that when the leftist/liberal asked that question what they meant was “Will you support Single-Payer”.

Further, they are used to enjoying being able to do that quite well. In the past if there did happen to be a jolt to it (say Reagan) it was over all easy to overcome by “getting the message out” – that is focusing on the feel good part, not the actual implementation. Realize that when they say “get the message out” *this* is what they mean, not what most here are scratching their heads over.

If you translate what they are saying into what they actual mean it is fairly accurate: “The American public likes the high minded principles we say we stand for, we are doing a bad job of making sure they only look at that part of it and not what we are really doing, if we can go back to that we can win again” and I’ll perfectly agree with that sentiment. I just don’t think it has sunk in that the days of being able to do that are over.

  17. “I think they might actually believe it.”

I think they do too. I was driven toward the right not only by my own evolving beliefs but because of my perception of how deluded and disconnected from reality the left was. In an ironic way living in San Francisco helped this process along because the left there was way off the rails when the national Democrat party was still comparatively sane. In their world then-Mayor Dianne Feinstein was a right-wing corporate tool.

  18. From Wikipedia:

“In Freudian psychology, Psychological projection or projection bias is a psychological defense mechanism where a person unconsciously denies their own attributes, thoughts, and emotions, which are then ascribed to the outside world, such as to the weather, or to other people. Thus, it involves imagining or projecting that others have those feelings.[1]

Projection reduces anxiety by allowing the expression of the unwanted unconscious impulses or desires without letting the conscious mind recognize them.

An example of this behavior might be blaming another for self failure. The mind may avoid the discomfort of consciously admitting personal faults by keeping those feelings unconscious, and redirect their libidinal satisfaction by attaching, or “projecting,” those same faults onto another.”

  19. “An example of this behavior might be blaming another for self failure.”

Indeed. Another fine example might be one political party’s clearly, provably encouraging voter fraud by any and all means possible, all the while screaming over and over that its rival party rigged voting machines to win two presidential elections, yet never offering a single scrap of evidence to back up such accusation — not even when the first party controlled all the levers of government and could have issued subpoenas and conducted any number of investigations so as to produce said evidence.

    Just for example, of course.

  20. No need to look for psychological reasons for the Dims, uh, I means, Dems, take on this. They simply are not “intellectually curious” enough.

It already looks like 2012 might be another behind the woodshed moment for the Dems/Rinos. Cool. This should help reinforce the urge for the American people to pay attention to what our alien overlords are doing in DC.

  21. Isn’t the approach of the Democrats very much like that of a stalker?

Don’t stalkers tell themselves that “she really wants me,” despite all evidence otherwise?

  22. Best comment I ever read on the internets:

“But I stole this for you, said the Usurper. Why don’t you love me? Why don’t you vote for me?”

  23. Hubris
    then
    Nemesis

Oddly all this is good for the Republic. Obama and the left wing fascists (aka Democrats, and between Honduras and Obamacare the term is more than adequately justified) constituted a near death experience for this country’s democracy. Fortunately the clumsiness of their method should inoculate at least some from the “I am the one you have waiting for” routine again.

BTW let’s hope Obamacare lasts long enough so that the 53% can get a good dose of what they voted for. That should guarantee minority status for the Dems for quite some time.

  24. “…they’re not getting the message.”

Yes, we did. We didn’t like it, and we didn’t buy it. We also got the implied message–that we’re dumb, they’re smart, and know what’s best for us. That’s why we shot the message, and the messenger, too.
