Reuters makes excuses…
…that no one will believe, continuing its long slide downwards from news organization to propagandist for the left.

i like their artistic crops…
I like it that even Fox is calling them activists.
I think America needs to display a little discernment and courage very soon. The rest of the world has opted for slavery so long as it comes with lots of weeks of vacation.
Activists. Indeed. Imagine this only twenty years ago – the world slavering at the prospect of finally getting rid of the damn Jews. Impossible! But that’s where we are.
Well, gee. After Daniel Pearl and Nick Berg and 9/11 and Fort Hood and the U.S.S. Cole (and the Barbary pirates, come to think of it) and Hirsi Ali’s tales of clitoridectomy and scraping with sharpened rocks I might be inclined to take a dim view of all these goings on and start to get the idea that some folks are taking advantage of our good nature.
Typical, given the source.
At the Sunday’ rally against erection of 13-story mosque across the street from Ground Zero I happened to stand right next to a tripod and camera with a label Reuters on it.
At home after teh event, while writing a blog post about it, I tried to find videos and photos on Reuters’ site. There were none.
A video appeared only 2 days afterward, and the voice-over said “four-five hundreds of protesters gathered…” In reality, just by police estimation, there were 5,000 attendees. But even by looking at that Reuters’ video the count was closer to 10,000.
They take their consumers for utter fools. And rightly so; there is no need to employ covert subtle tactics – the crudest, most blatant lies and omissions get swallowed by the public without a single note of protest.
If you were czar of everything, what would you require of the MSM as a way of regaining public trust?
Me either.
