Joe Klein says he’s smart — 10 Comments

  1. ah..

so Klien is a Social Democrat / Fascist… ‘Democratic Leadership Council is a communist light version of Congressional Progressive Caucus. Dennis Kucinich head it, and Barbara Lee has a career long history of associations with communist party and extremist groups & individuals. Lee is a long-time friend of Communist Party militant Angela Davis (former CPUSA presidential candidate). she succeeded Rep. Ron ”Red” Dellums. Progressive Caucus used to have their website hosted by Democratic Socialists of America.

the goal of the Democratic Socialists of America has never been deeply hidden. Prior to the cleanup of its website in 1999, the DSA included a song list featuring ”The Internationale,” the worldwide anthem of communism and socialism.

Another song on the site was ”Red Revolution” sung to the tune of ”Red Robin.”
”When the Red Revolution brings its solution along, along, there’ll be no more lootin’ when we start shootin’ that Wall Street throng. …”

    Another song removed was
You Sleeping, Bourgeoisie?” The lyrics went: ”Are you sleeping? Are you sleeping? Bourgeoisie, Bourgeoisie. And when the revolution comes, We’ll kill you all with knives and guns, Bourgeoisie, Bourgeoisie.”

    fun people. ‘

In January 2003, he joined Time to write a column called “In the Arena” on national and international affairs. It appears in Time’s upfront “Notebook” section and has been criticized for its reporting about Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic opposition to warrantless wiretapping. The column has been the source of several retractions by Time.

the social democrats (communists) do not like wire tapping… as they collude, and do such things, such things are much more dangerous to them. he is FASCIST which is what third way means. now they are calling it centrism..

    Third Way (centrism)
The Third Way is a term that has been used to describe a political position which attempts to transcend right-wing and left-wing politics by advocating a synthesis of some right-wing and left-wing economic policies.[1] Third Way approaches are commonly viewed from within the first- and second-way perspectives as representing a centrist compromise between free market capitalism and democratic socialism. However, proponents of third way philosophies see it has something beyond free market capitalism and democratic socialism.[2] This claim is embodied in the alternative description of the Third Way as the Radical center.

    from klien wiki
Klein’s depiction of the Clinton presidency also gave a detailed examination of the moderate Democratic positions espoused by the Democratic Leadership Council, as well as third way politics generally, of which Klein was highly complimentary.

then a bit more on what third way is NOW being described as.
Past invocations of a political ‘third way’, in this sense, or a ‘middle way’, have included the Fabian Socialism, Distributism, Technocracy (bureaucratic), Keynesian economics, Italian fascism under Benito Mussolini [3], Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal, and Harold Macmillan’s 1950s One Nation Conservatism [4]

Fabian.. just like george barnard shaw… who said we should each stand in front of a board every 5 or so years and justify our existence. there is nice fottage of him giving the nazi salute.

the NAZI party was a third way. they were to the right of communism, because they still had a free market of sorts (controlled by law, and taxation poliices. sound familiar).. .ideologically they wre on the same page and wishing to exterminate the masses… then the proletariats… (the major difference is that stalin and his ilk didnt see anyone below the elite in state as worth keeping.. while hitler saw his own people as the new elite. thats it)

The term “Third Way” has been used to explain a variety of political policies and ideology in the last few centuries. These ideas were implemented by both progressives in the early 20th century. The Third Way philosophy was extended in the 1950s by German ordoliberal economists such as Wilhelm Ré¶pke, resulting in the development of the concept of the social market economy. Most significantly, Harold Macmillan, British Prime Minister from 1957 to 1963, based his philosophy of government on what he entitled in a book, The Middle Way (1938).

the whole post is propaganda as its leaving out its key origins, the games, the symbology, etc. …its very odd to read the history in wiki as its leaving out convenient points to mislead you.

basically the point is that communism is dead, and the next closest thing to communism that is still socialism, is third way fASCISM… which was exactly the same except it tolerated not controlling all production

Advocates of Laissez-faire capitalism are staunch opponents of a mixed economy, even in the weaker form of the “third way.” In 1990, after the fall of his country’s communist government, Czechoslovakia’s finance minister, Vé¡clav Klaus, declared, “We want a market economy without any adjectives. Any compromises with that will only fuzzy up the problems we have. To pursue a so-called Third Way is foolish. We had our experience with this in the 1960s when we looked for a socialism with a human face. It did not work, and we must be explicit that we are not aiming for a more efficient version of a system that has failed. The market is indivisible; it cannot be an instrument in the hands of central planners

Third way is sometimes described as an idea of former social-democrats which replaces socialism with capitalism and a minimum of socialism, and a strategy to bring the social-democratic parties back to power where they have lost elections. For example, Slavoj Zizek argues that the notion of the Third Way emerged as the only alternative to the victorious global capitalism and its notion of liberal democracy when the Second Way crumbled.[37] Critics argue that third way politicians are in favour of ideas and policies that ultimately serve the interests of corporate power and the wealthy at the expense of the working class and the poor. Some also classify the Third Way as neosocialism or “neoliberalism with a social touch”

to know the parties and organizations they list and who and waht they are and their histories makes clear the root of this tree that remains unspoken.

In response to the instability created by the Great Depression, the Nazis sought a Third Way managed economy that was neither capitalism nor communism.

they wanted the best of both!!! and got the worst of one, with the capital of the other.

that is what the soviet union would have been had its ideological position allowed it the ability to produce and do well as the germans system did.

today, china follows this…and america is abandoning freedom, which beat socialism, communism AND fascism… but left no place for leaders to be anything but employed clerks and vassals of the MASSES.

got that? they cant stand to serve the masses. what otehr group was like that EXACTLY? oh yes… lucifer. when god said that the angels serve man, and not man serve the angels, they made hell. and when man said that the rulers of man should serve man, not man serve them, they went against the utopia that was what they had, and their destruction created the land called hell

to which the people who still follow this, admire lucifer. lucifer a person of which a REAL utopian heaven was not good enough, because he was not god.

so they would rather rule over a hell
    than serve over a heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Joe Klein is on the same page as Obama – the people are rubes not sufficiently defferential to their betters.

Maybe they should form their own country and leave the rest of us alone? Our ancestors tried that whole serf-king thing and found it wanting. We don’t need to try it again.

  3. Leftists’ beliefs are too nuanced and fluid for you poor unsophisticated rubes to understand.

See, the “people” are “wise” when they support progressive policies. They only become ill-informed, mis-informed, and stupid, when they don’t. I recall the constant mocking of the “30 percenters” or whatever the term was, that was used for the percentage support that McChimpy Halliburton Bush hung on to. The other 70 percent – they were obviously the smart kids.

If you take out the black support for Obama – which will always be at 90+ percent, and they are 12% of the populace – his approval rating would be down in the 30’s. Gee, I guess that 30+ percent swing category of people who went into the disapproval camp, must not have been as “smart” as the lefties originally thought. Who are the “30 percenters” now? LOL.

Bush loses the overall national vote to Gore by 500,000? Electoral college is bad. Should be abolished. Fast forward 4 years. Even though Bush beat Kerry by what – 3 MILLION votes, it becomes “Damn – if we could have gotten a mere 144,000 more votes in Ohio, he would have won the election!”

Suddenly the electoral college becomes legit again!

Majority votes to allow gay marriage? “It is the will of the people, and therefore the correct outcome. Listen to the peoples voice!!”

Ah, but if the majority votes it down? “We need a high court filled with correct thinking judges, to finally do the right thing. The mob are a bunch of ill-informed bigots and fools.”

Don’t try to understand the nuance. It is very subtle.

  4. Maybe I’m too dumb to understand all the nuances and benefits of 10% unemployment – but I understood it pretty well when I was out of work last year.

  5. It seems pretty clear to me that Joe Klein is Smart — which doesn’t mean he’s smart, at all.

  6. Those of his background are always reminding you of how smart they are even when they are.

Quote: ” I don’t know how to put it to you but I am kind of a big deal” …

  7. Since the 1930’s (and earlier for some countries), most countries (including America) have been governed by Third Way socialists a/k/a Fascists or progressives or Neo-Socialists. In Third Way socialism or Fascism, government claims power to take, control and/or risk via regulation whatever private wealth (e.g. income) it wants whenever it wants to serve national socialist goals (e.g. affirmative action lending, healthcare/insurance or energy tax wealth redistribution) and it intentionally leaves the false impression that your private property is yours to motivate you to work, but to benefit others. Because government can take, control or risk private property whenever it wants, it doesn’t need to own or control all of it all the time and can leave intact a semblance of private property as a motivation to work to thereby provide a better economic engine than pure socialism where there is no private property. FDR and Hitler were simply “smart” socialists who modified original socialism to include a motivation to work (a degree of private property).

Government run by Democrats is organized crime. The purpose behind everything they do is to redistribute wealth to Democrat voters. Their wealth redistribution schemes deliver wealth without work & representation without taxation to Democrat voters. A “right” according to Democrats means they misuse government to deny your right (steal your private property – income) to give it to Democrat voters, who vote for Democrat politicians as their proxy armed robbers to steal what they want. Stealing private property to get what Democrats want (including hiring politicians to do it for them) is not their right, it’s their greedy, covetous desire.

Democrats base their representation without taxation & wealth without work (redistribution) schemes for Democrat voters on:
    (i) Art. 1, Sec. 8, Clause 1 – “collect Taxes . . . to . . . provide for . . . general Welfare of the United States”
    (ii) Art. 1, Sec. 8, Clause 3 – “regulate Commerce . . . among the several States.”
(iii) 16th Amendment – “collect taxes on incomes”
    (iv) 24th Amendment – “right . . . to vote [without] pay[ing] any . . . tax”
