Brown continues to put the fear into Democrats
Will his efforts be enough to accomplish the unthinkable—a Republican taking the Senate seat vacated by the late Ted Kennedy, reducing the sixty previous votes for cloture on health care reform to only fifty-nine?
Don’t know. But Brown is giving it a shot, and that’s giving Democrats the heebie-jeebies (see also this, this, and this).
I donated $25. to his campaign a few days ago. If I was George Soros I may have given more. But maybe not. The gesture was a futlie one on purpose. He would do much better to get vocal, get real, get a plan, be bold, etc. Happily, he seems to have been doing some of that in the past few days.
It would be a miracle if he won. It would change the political calculations if he won.
He has almost no chance….
But if he did…..wow.
It would be nice if he received a huge groundswell of national support in the next 11 days. The vox populi of the real America needs to be heard louder and longer and all the time and everywhere, even Massachussettes
Scott Brown absolutely can win this race. Per Rasmussen, he is only behind by 2 points among voters who say they will definitly vote. He is absolutely crushing Coakley among registered Independents (who comprise 50% of all Taxachusetts voters). That voters are in a “throw the bums out” mood should also work to his advantage.
William Jacobson, a Cornell law professor, in recent days has turned his blog into a clearinghouse for everything related to getting Scott Brown elected. The man is tireless, smart, and incrediblly dedicated. I strongly recommend his blog to anyone interested in the Scott Brown election:

Nervous, yes. And pushing back.
I hope Brown wins but I don’t think that 2 points will be enough. In a crooked state like Massachusetts, I’m willing to bet that the preparations for stealing the election are well under way. In order for Brown to win, he will need a sizable majority. One too big to be offset by the impending fraud. Even then, I wouldn’t put it past the dems to still try to steal it.
In case anyone thinks that Coakley is a decent person, I recommend they read this link.
She kept an innocent man in prison for political gain.
In case anybody had any doubts about the fix being in or that thedems would stop short of anything to hang onto power…/sarcasm.
I recommend this link.
In a nutshell…
“Today Paul Kirk told the State House News service that he would continue to serve in the United States Senate until the health care vote is taken if Scott Brown wins the election.”
The Scott Brown Campaign had the following to say about Paul Kirk’s admission.
First Deval Patrick and the legislature changed the law so that Paul Kirk would be a vote for health care. Today the Beacon Hill machine threatened to instigate a Constitutional crisis if Scott Brown is elected. The Democratic machine in Massachusetts has no shame.
