You Obama “We won” bitches
Because we fight back
And don’t give a @#$%
About optics
Throwing wide open the gates of Acorn style election fraud… just like the traitor in the White House, Obama, recently said, “You haven’t seen anything yet.” But the focus of my personal hostility to the left is now seething significantly more against the mainstream media who have totally abdicated their responsibility and implied fiduciary duty to the American people.
Of course it’s discriminatory. It discriminates against the walk-in trade.
Why do I have the feeling that most of the people who can’t manage to register like everyone else would have no trouble getting themselves to a store offering big screens for $100, even if a birth certificate was required and the store was 40 miles away. They just don’t care enough.
The notion lays bare the moral and intellectual bankruptcy of the left generally. How they can bleat about counting every vote, and then countenance wholesale voter fraud?
And make no mistake, that’s exactly what this is designed to promote.
It’s similar to the left wanting to give the vote to convicted felons, although that might be considered extension of professional courtesy.
Occam.
Nobody believes this is “right”. But they won. What are you going to do about it?
Proselytize!
“African-American, Asian and/or Hispanic voters”
These Asian and/or Hispanics – is that a new thing, something to add to the LGBTTCQQI alphabet? Or just newly discovered, like the fact that “Muslim,” “Hispanic,” and “Undocumented Immigrant” have been found to be races (since one can be a racist by disagreeing with anything they assert)?
Richard Aubrey, I think to some extent we just have to bear up. Another generation is being vaccinated against liberalism, much as happened 30 years ago. We just need to work on our own Long March through the institutions, and hope it’s not too late.
I guess that means liquor stores and tobacco outlets are discriminatory, too. People sure manage to obtain ID to acquire these items, don’t they?

Excellent point, Lee. I will definitely start using that.

As a general comment, while I believe that the 2008 election was mostly legit (I’m not like the moonbats who spent eight years claiming that Bush was an illegitimate President), I was very upset about the tolerance for voter registration fraud committed by the likes of ACORN, with few if any consequences. That may or may not have been enough to change the outcome in several states.
Ever since that election, I have been very concerned about the 2010 election. This is indeed a green light for future fraud, and on top of that, ACORN is getting increased Federal funding. If a large percentage of Americans loses faith in our electoral process, then there is really only one recourse left to us, and it won’t be pretty. Welcome to the Third World.
I have opined here before that the government’s policies are deliberately harming the economy. Every single thing they have done points in that direction. Likewise, the Left seems to be deliberately trying to foment a violent uprising. Can they really be that stupid? Or are they utterly blinded by their lust for total power? Do they seriously believe that nearly half of the American population will sit still for blatantly rigged elections that keep the socialists in power forever?
No Richard Aubrey, they did not win the right to overturn the foundations of this country.
We are in a corner right now; but we don’t have to give up. For starters, I will contribute (meagerly, it’s true) to any legitimate legal challenge to these actions. I will continue to contribute to candidates who share my values. I will work in my local campaigns for 2010. If I can think of anything else to oppose the destruction of this country, I will do that.
The IDs make perfect sense. Not only can you identify the person as a genuine resident of the district (at least until recently), but you also can guarantee that they are at least a legal resident of the country, and make it a little harder for non-citizens to vote.
In my suburb, we are all required already to show IDs to vote and nobody complains. Furthermore, the clerks are all local retired and unemployed people who know everyone voting by sight and usually by name. No voter registration fraud here. But then we are the rich oppressors, most of whom get up at 5:30 am to go to work and are not home til 7 pm at night.
Oldflyer.
They won the right to do whatever they can get away with.
My question is what are you going to do about it? The new voters will be voting dem. The new judges….
Disproportionate impact? That’s silly. Heck, when I serve as election judge in our local precinct, I find myself musing about why we don’t ask people who *are* registered to prove their id when they show up. Granted, voter fraud isn’t a big deal around here, but it makes sense to me.
Meanwhile, Brian Williams of NBC is caught on film actually bowing to Obama. BOWING.
We have no Fourth Estate any more. Not one that knows what it’s damned job is in a Republic.
It doesn’t just seem to be the liberal MSM media that ignores stuff like this. I don’t see much coverage, let alone much outrage from the “Mainstream” non-liberal press (WSJ, NRO), etc., either. WHY?
ALL non-Totalitarians, including democrats, should be screaming from the rooftops over this. I really cannot understand anyone having any complacency over this. Yet we get the same old tired and well worn political analysis about how this many seats in the House may be won or lost in the mid-term elections based on this or that happening in the economy, based on this or that poll…..as if the rules of the game are the same NOW as they were back in the 70’s or 80’s.
The rules have changed. The total preposterousness of the concept that you have to provide an ID to buy a F–king six-pack of beer, to board an airplane, to buy an appliance with a credit card, etc, etc, ….but that it can be classified as “discriminatory” to be told to pull one out at a voting booth – shows without question that it is of course INTENDED to enable massive voter fraud.
It is INTENDED so that there will NEVER be another Bush/Kerry Ohio scenario….where if a mere 144,000 votes could have been “generated”, Kerry wins the state. It is INTENDED to eliminate a Leftist candidate in any key national or state election from ever losing a “close” one – ever again. Every single close call goes to the Acorn candidate.
This tips the scales just a bit, now doesn’t it.
When the public loses faith in the essential reliabilty of the ballot box, then we are ripe for losing our country and freedoms altogether.
I read on some other site yesterday that we could be headed for a “cold civil war.” I think that if we’re not already there, it is closer than a lot of people think. Then the question becomes when does it go from “cold” to “hot.”
I don’t mean to be a pessimist, but I am starting to think that our ONLY hope for survival as a free people may hinge upon the mid-term elections coming up. And the absolute necessity of picking up or solidifying enough opposition seats in both houses (and they can be conservative democrats), to put a stop to this freight train.
Unfortunately I cynically believe that the delayed release of multi-billions in stimulus funds is intentionally designed to delay the (false and illusory and temporary) “recovery” so that it is timed specifically for those elections. “See – we’re on the right track — all hail The One.” Then – just watch what happens with legislative initiatives and Federal court packing. And there will not be a damn thing anyone will be able to do about it.
Now, where would we be without absentee ballot fraud? No JFK !! .. no Vietnam, no Watergate, no Monica ..
We are already in a cold civil war in this country. It’s got nothing to do with region or state, because within every state and region the collectivists and the patriots are living in close proximity. If it goes hot, and let us pray it does not, I believe it will be intense but of short duration. The outcome will be decided by the U.S. military. If it sides with the collectivists, then it is lights out on our Republic, the Constitution, and Western Civilization itself. But I think most of it will side with the patriots. That does not mean elements will not side with the collectivists. I cannot see most of the military going over to the other side. So, the odds are we win, and we win big. The Left will be scrambling just to survive, and for its leaders to get out of the country, because we are going to be hunting them. None of us, including the military would kill the President. All of us are opposed to that very strongly, because it is absolutely essential that certain traditions not be broken. Much as I do strongly disagree with him on policies, he is still the President of the United States and there are certain things we will not do.
We have to work hard to resolve this politically, because if we do not, then there will be the Devil to pay.
Way back in my days on the Left, which seems like another lifetime ago, those people would talk a good game about “democracy” and elections. You never heard those people express the understanding that the United States of America is a Constitutional Republic. These people all seemed to think the Constitution was a quaint anachronism that we had to get beyond. As the president once said a few years back when he was an Illinois senator: “a flawed document.” What these people want is to turn the country into a democracy, and from there to a social democratic state like what you find in Western Europe.
That is their aim. We intend to work hard to not let that happen.
