New podcast: Iran + Annan
The Sanity Squad is back opining at Pajamas Media. The topics? Iran’s “scientific” [sic] Holocaust Denial Conference, and the legacy of Kofi Annan, whose term as UN Secretary-General is up at the end of the month.
So go to PJ and listen to me, Dr. Sanity, Shrinkwrapped, and Siggy. Those with sharp ears will notice the lingering effects of my rather nasty cold; my voice sounds pretty nasal. I stoically kept myself from coughing up a storm during the podcast: the show must go on!
Where is the automatically generated transcript???
Iran hosting this conference to enlighten the western world is like my grandmother teaching a workshop on advanced Photoshop.

Great cast — thanks 🙂
Very nice, Neo, hypnotist.
Snake sellers, Neo, all of em.
Ignores human nature, as I see it, rather than ignoring reality.
The US already secures other people’s security, and look how well that turned out in 2001.
Lol Pat, anti-christ, that was kind of funny.
Security comes when people Earn it, not when they suck off the US’s teat for it.
Kofi does it 2, he is in New York, is he securing our security? Bull pock, no.
These guys should be gotten rid of, in the literal sense, not the figurative. The only reason why the US should be in the UN is if we have the will to purge it and replace them with people elected in a democratic system. Purge all of it, if ever we have a puppet government, it should be the entire UN.
Business, greed, basic human motivations. If you don’t put the fear of death into these evil slime balls, they are going to disappoint you. I’m talking about the Real Culture of Corruption, btw.
Neo, I think Kofi has a right to his pride. Because he should be proud. He should be proud of pulling a fast one on the mighty United States, bearding the giant in our own lair. Very daring of him, very dangerous, and very exciting. He should be proud, Neo, he should be, and he is. But he also should be dead, but he isn’t, oh well.
The UN is powerful enough to corrupt even the United States, Neo, any “new” UN General will be generally eaten. I mean, if you have an organization that seeks to sabotage its host nation that is able to still get money from that host nation, you got the blueprint for the ultimate con job.
Every sovereign country sucks arse. There is no such thing as sovereignty when nations are living under the United States naval, air force, and army umbrella. You know how much piracy there would be, hijacking oil containers, without the US Navy patrolling the Gulf and seas?
National interests? No. Kofi’s interests? yes, for the UN. Nightmare, Neo, not dream.
Power to the people *snickers*. Revolutionary propaganda seems to have you going around in circles, Neo. Of course, you might want to tell the Sanity squad next time, this little truism.
“When a revolutionary man kills, a tyrant dies and a free man is born”
Ymar: did that come across as a serious statement? Power to the people? I hope it was clear it was sarcastic.
Tom Grey: it would be great to have a transcript. Also, it would be great if one could advance the podcast and go to any minute one wanted to. Maybe some day.
No, I knew what you meant, but what I found amusing was how (shrink?) began with the power principle that was bad for the oppressors, and you mentioned that it was okay for the people though. So there’s like this revolutionary doublespeak propaganda going on. Where power is the bad, authority is the bad, but not when power is with the “good”. They think power corrupts, but they never refer to the “power of the people” that corrupts, they never refer to “power corrupting” them and Democrats. It’s just a loop, when you said power to the people, that just brought the loope to completion. Power corrupts everyone except the Left, to power to the people because the people can’t be corrupted.
Neo, you can advance in the podcast if you use a quicktime plugin for your browser, and click on that download link. Either it saves the pod to the desktop or opens it up with your browser, depending on whether you right click or not.
So I don’t worry too much about the lack of forward/back for the web imbedded podcast player.
